Nothing in this book is groundbreaking news to me, but I like having these 12 laws compiled into one book. These serve as little reminders, and each short chapter can be read in just a couple of minutes.

It’s a perfect bathroom book. ;)

If I could give this book zero stars I would 😂
I listened to this audiobook thinking it would offer different perspectives and insights to things I’ve been learning on my spiritual journey over the past decade, but there is nothing of substance in here whatsoever.
It reads like a frat bro just got back from his first Ayahuasca ceremony and thinks he’s unlocked the secrets to the universe but has yet to actually dive into the deep and learn the lessons so he can embody them.
I suggested to a friend that we read this together without taking a sneak peek and I was so embarrassed after I realize how superficial the contents are 🥴

Good overview for anyone who doesn't have a clue what the 12 laws of the universe are. If you want something deeper, I suggest tackling each law on its own.

Loved this! Bite Sized chapters, Clear & Concise wording. Everything resonated. I liked it so much I read it twice over. Clear outlines on the laws of the universe without getting bogged down by the details other books sometimes add in. If you're curious about them- this is a great place to start or refresh :) 10/10

My hairdresser loaned me this as we were talking about self-care, hah. This short book lacks substance, but serves as a nice little highlight of how everything is intertwined and how we can focus on our own energy.

I had high hopes for 12 Laws of the Universe, expecting a thoughtful and well-researched exploration of universal principles. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the book fell short in almost every way. Rather than providing deep insights or practical applications, it relies on vague, repetitive affirmations and unsubstantiated claims that feel more like wishful thinking than actionable wisdom.

The biggest disappointment is the lack of real-world examples or scientific backing. The book presents its “laws” as absolute truths but offers little to no evidence to support them. Statements are often broad and ambiguous, making it difficult to apply them in a meaningful way.

Additionally, the writing feels more like a collection of motivational slogans than a structured, coherent guide. There’s little depth or critical analysis—just the same ideas reworded in different ways. Readers looking for real personal growth or a deeper understanding of universal principles will likely be frustrated by the lack of substance.

If you’re already well-versed in self-help and spiritual literature, you won’t find anything new here. And if you’re new to the topic, there are far better books that provide more depth, clarity, and credibility. Unfortunately, 12 Laws of the Universe is all fluff and no real insight.

This was a really enjoyable and insightful read! I've always been drawn to concepts of personal growth and understanding the underlying mechanics of existence, and "12 Laws of the Universe" certainly delivered.
I particularly enjoyed the overall concept of life cycles and, of course, the laws of attraction. The way the book broke down these often complex ideas into understandable principles was highly effective. It felt like a practical guide to navigating life with more intention.
What stood out the most was how very easy to read the book was. It wasn't bogged down with jargon or overly academic language, which made it accessible to anyone interested in these topics. As I went through each law, a lot of it just made sense. There were many "aha!" moments where I felt like I was gaining clarity on experiences I've had or observations I've made.
While some of these concepts might not be new to everyone, the book presented them in a cohesive and digestible manner that felt fresh and empowering. It's a great starting point for anyone curious about the unseen forces at play in our lives and how we can work with them. Definitely recommend for a quick, thought-provoking read that leaves you feeling more in tune with the universe!

EXCERPT From “Introduction”
“The Dictionary defines law as something regarded as having binding force or effect. It is vital to understand that every law is a realization of the existence of intangible yet effective power. Take the Law of Gravity, for instance, we can’t see it, we can’t feel it, but it exists. And its existence affects every person on the planet.
The universal laws share these properties:
INTANGIBLE – The 12 laws are the realization of such forces, that exist, and affect being on the planet. Yet they are intangible and invisible. They can’t be touched or felt.
BOUNDLESS – the 12 laws of the universe are boundless. They are not bound to a particular area or are stopped by a country’s border. They exist everywhere, just like air.
TIMELESS – The 12 laws are timeless. They have always been, they are, and they will always be. It is now that there has been a realization of their existence.
Take the example of the Law of Attraction. You probably heard of that. But the Law of Attraction is just the tip of the iceberg…
The Law of Attraction gets a lot of attention thanks to the popular 2006 Rhonda Byrne film and book, The Secret [sic- missing quotes]. What most people don’t realize is that there’s in face [sic- should be “fact”] 12 Universal Laws, not just one.
Many people credit “The Secret” with getting the Law of Attraction into the mainstream. Since then, so many of us have tried to harness its principles to manifest the things we desire most, to varying levels of success [sic – missing period]
But the Law of Attraction is only one of The 12 Universal Laws. They all work together. Law of Attraction on it’s own is like trying to catch a fish with a hook but no bait.
12 Universal Laws or Principles?
My advice is to understand these principles, but realize that they are not the be-all and end-all. As far as I can tell, these laws help me come to terms with my day-to-day life situations. They help me to overcome challenges when things appear to be not going the way I’d like. They help me re-frame circumstances to get a broader understanding.
It’s important here to note that we need to keep our minds open to understand these laws. After all, knowledge and understanding are ever-changing and expanding. These 12 Universal Laws are an amalgamation of science, spirit, and metaphysics. Consider them like guidelines that help us understand how universal intelligence is organized.”

“12 Laws of the Universe” by Manhardeep Singh is one of those books that makes you pause and think, “I knew it!” It’s not just a collection of universal principles—it’s an eye-opener that validates those gut feelings and instincts we often brush off. As I read through each law, I found myself connecting the dots between my own experiences and the unseen forces at play. It reinforces what we sometimes intuitively know but don’t have the words to explain. If you’ve ever had a strong hunch about something and later realized you were right, this book helps explain why. Highly recommend for those seeking validation of their inner wisdom and a deeper understanding of how the universe operates.

my favorite part about this book is that he take universal/yogic laws and summarizes them quickly yet also relates scenarios to modern day. For example, you are having a shitty day, well this can also remind you that better days are ahead. he also acknowledges that not every day is going to be good but how you hold space for yourself has a lot to do with what will manifest in the future and to have patience. Another analogy that I really liked was he states if you are a farmer and planted your orchard in October, you will be very frustrated. have patience and by spring, you will be a bountiful farmer. 🍎

The only reason I listened to this audiobook was because it was short and I hated every short minute. The author wrote out, maybe, three or four “laws,” and then used the earliest version of AI to reword them for the rest of the laws. He’s definitely mastered the use of a thesaurus. If you’ve got common sense, a basic understanding of realism and had a pretty average upbringing, you already know what’s in this book. Nothing groundbreaking here. There are much better books on the topic. Move along from this one.

While this book doesn’t contain any new ideologies or novelties, it is a wonderful tool for guidance of self-improvement/growth and introspection. The 12 Laws of the Universe is a book I will definitely revisit in the future and re-read<3

Favorite quotes:
“If you look at what you already have in life you’ll always have more. If you look at what you don’t have in life you will never have enough.
“To be interested in the changing of the seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with the spring.”

A very short read that’s to the point. This book establishes the rules of and best practices in navigating quantum entanglement in every day life, without recognizing the quantum science behind it.

The themes can be found in almost any spiritual practice and forms the roots of many religious practices, without the authority and judgement. The book provides 12 laws of the universe that govern entanglement and the probability realities of quantum mechanics. Use it to realign your life and energy to guide the universe into supporting your needs and desires.

I was not expecting to be blown away in a short book like this. Especially since I started it on a whim..

2 things in this book I took away:

1. Vocabulary. For myself in how I decide to focus, AND what I can say when I am talking to others to express clearly what I think it important for long term success.

2. State the obvious. It may be ‘obvious’ but when you state it, it can remind someone and they can be jump started to appreciate it deeper of again.

Came across this book at a used book store and it caught my eye. I was already familiar with some of the concepts in the book but I learned some more information after reading this book.
Great read, it’s concise with some grammatical errors here and there but would still recommend to friends and family

Tolerable

To say that the information shared in this book is not useful would not be accurate. But while there are some points and explanations that are helpful, IMO there is very little meat on the bone. The book comes across, to me, very skeletal in it's presentation. It's good to know what the " laws" are, but after reading it I was left feeling a bit "ok, AND....?"

There are some lovely nuggets in here. I personally really struggled with accepting the vernacular used to describe what felt like meaningful food for thought (e.g. “vibrations”). A quick read for those curious, but I suspect there are more reflective options to access similar material.

Queer rep: none

Very quick and straightforward guide. I already knew pretty much everything in it, but it was still a good reminder. I also appreciated having everything laid out in order. This is essentially a “tl;dr” version of the subject! Very good for beginners.
