Alex has always had a thing for Payton but he never wanted to disrespect Nick by pursuing her. Now she is determined to find her father and is unburying secrets that are best left where they lay.
They’ll have to work together to find Nick and ignore the pull between them. Simple enough.

This story had a great flow and the drama began right in Chapter 2. I was eager to get to the bottom of the mystery and see what was going to happen with these characters that I had instantly connected with. There was terrific tension and chemistry throughout this story. The slow burn happening between Alex and Payton was great and when it finally caught fire--BOOM! I was so on edge as the story went along. I was unsure about who to trust as well and how things would turn out. I was just waiting for the reveal and anticipated a shock. But WOW that ending!!! It has me wanting the next book in this series in the worst way. Great read!
