Who is @shok really? What is he leading them into? Are they really serving the nation or is there something more sinister going on?
The Title itself is revealing the Story Genre. This story narrate about three key people. Rudra alias Rudra Pratap Singh, Lily and Mohseen. Hacking is a common thing for these three people.
We're So Hacked is a great book. I have always been interested in hacking, but never had the time to learn it. While reading this book I enjoyed it a lot. I am really enjoying this book and recommend it for people who are looking for a thriller and learn about hacking! The story begins with a series of cyberattacks on Pakistani Government websites.
In Fact this is his second book in this series. After finishing this book i am more interested in his first book I'm So Hacked. The book would appeal to readers who seek an intense, well-researched and well-written Suspense and thriller. A thrilling read for those who enjoy spy-thrillers, espionage and games of international power.
'We're So Hacked' book by author Gautam Mayekar. It's the second book of the hacker series with the Indo-Pak cyberwar as its base theme. The revolves around Rudra, Lily and Mohseen they are ethical hacker, cybercrime lawyer and journalists respectively. all are working with Indian Cyber Defence, an underground hacking forum that defaces Pakistani Government websites and spreads viruses to attack them.
The title and the cover of the book give the thriller effect to the book. The story is a combination of hacking, action, thriller, suspense, journey, ride, etc. The story has a twist and turns and the plot of the book keeps engaging till the end. The book is narrated smoothly. The language of the book is rich which helps to improve the vocabulary. The book has a perfect storyline and the characters is well developed and described.
Recommended to all those like to read hacking stories.
Compelling thriller, innovative story line, captivating writing skills
The book starts with the present day, three characters on a plane, wearing Orange, White and Green colored clothes.
The author starts with unfolding intriguing details about each character starting with Rudra and his involvement in Indian Cyber Defence. Then, enters @$H0K, with a puzzle called 'Chakravyuh'. He projects the challenge as the opportunity for all the Indian hackers to do something worthy for the country.
The next character is Lily. Initially, she might look like a normal working woman, who is sick of flirty male colleagues and office politics. But, there is something which she is trying to escape. As a result, to distract herself, she also decides to take up the challenge by @$H0K.
And then the third character, Mohseen. I started loving the book more from here, because the amount of research the author has done for all the characters is commendable, and not to forget the author's sarcastic take on some of the social issues which a lot of people avoid to talk about.
Rudra, Lily and Mohseen, they all are vulnerable yet pretty intelligent and strong willed. Hence, they all eventually decide to solve the puzzle. There are few chapters where the author deep dives into their personal lives, dropping the hints about their insecurities, goals, feelings which keeps enhancing their urge to solve the puzzle and a reader's interest in parallel.
After reading their individual stories, you will definitely feel an emotional connect with each one of them, kudos to the brilliant writing. There are some instances where you will smile, some where you will cry and some where you will be just amazed by the story line.
The one thing that I personally loved the most is the way the author has linked the tasks to Mahabharata. Also the way, the author has highlighted all the religious customs and beliefs, and how every religion exists to spread love is something that I will never forget.
The story continues with all the three of them trying to solve the puzzle, one step at a time. The process of solving the puzzle is very interesting for all three of them while they make some really important decisions for their personal lives as well. But, the urge to solve this puzzle overrides all the other feelings. Will they be able to solve it? If yes, what lies ahead of the puzzle? Who is @$H0K? What are his plans? Read the book to find that out!
Now, the UI of the book is pretty awesome. It has a catchy cover, and it brought a smile on my face after I finished reading the book and saw it again. I personally loved the font, and the way author has used special characters while writing the chapter names.
This is the second book in the hacker series. Although, it is independent of the first book, but it would be better to read the first book and then this one.
This book is very addictive, you just can't keep it down as you progress through the chapters. The author has very simple yet captivating writing style. There are a few technical terms, but the author has explained them with brilliance so that even a novice will get the gist about the situation. There are many sections in the book where the author focuses on the social stigmas and how unknowingly we all are a part of the same system.
The after effects of this book on me is that I want to learn hacking now, not because it is cool. But, because it is super interesting. Also, I plan on reading Mahabharata again, and this time I think I will have a different perspective. The bottom line is, this book isn't leaving my head anytime soon.
Favorite lines- 'People say love is the most vulnerable trait in human beings, they are wrong! It is curiosity. Curiousity drives human crazy.'
And to continue the curiosity, author has added a teaser for the next book at the end of this book.
Definitely 10/10, Must read!

A freelance hacker from Delhi named Rudra alias Rudra Pratap Singh formed an Internet Relay Chat Private Group called Indian Cyber Defense, which brings together largely Indian hackers to hack Pakistani websites and hackers in order to eliminate them altogether. Following the death of his soldier father during the Kargil conflict, he founded the gang in order to revenge against Pakistani hackers. There were other people in this group as well. One of them was LOcHNess Mon$ter, also known as Lalitha Banerjee or Lily as a pet name, who worked as a cyber crime attorney in Kolkata. The second participant was JaZzM!ne alias Mohseen Shaikh, a Hyderabad-based IT reporter and journalist who goes by the handle JaZzM!ne. They were all given a mystery standard JPEG format image called 'Chakravyuh' in the group by a hacktivist named @$HOK, who was also in the group. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rise to the top of the hacking world, make amends, and achieve something useful for the country through the use of this steganography technique. The Pandavas of the Mahabharata were linked to this riddle in some way.
The plot moves at a breakneck pace and is filled with patriotic sentiment. Book two in the author Gautam Mayekar's hacker series, and it is a sequel to the first. I'm looking forward to reading the first series now that I've finished this one. The author's writing is so clear that even someone who is not familiar with computers would be able to follow along with the story. Besides describing the individuals, the author also did an excellent job describing the cities in which they dwell. I was drawn to Lalitha Banerjee's hometown of Kolkata because I, too, reside in the same city. Each character has a past that might bring tears to the eyes of the readers.
The title of the book and the image on the book cover are both highly appealing. The ability to narrate a story is extraordinary. The plot is out of the ordinary. Besides bringing us up to speed on the main narrative, the author attempted to educate us on the casting couch in movies, Muslim jihad, and the general public's attitude toward terrorists in the subplots as well.
It took lots of time to build up the character and finished when I started to feel thrilled that now something is meant to create some twist and blow our mind and yeah ending did that but I wanted more.
I liked the way the author kept the suspense throughout the book and didn't let me get bored with the story.
We are so Hacked book gives you a thrilling experience of the hacking world, as I don't know much about the hacking world for me it's seemed like magic and I enjoyed every bit of it.
Recommend to suspense lovers and Hackers.
Glimpse in a blink

Book Title: We're So Hacked Author: Gautam Mayekar Publisher: Leadstart Format: Paperback Language: English Genre: Cyber Fiction Pages: 222 Book Rating: 4.5/5
Rudra aka Rudra Pratap Singh, a freelance hacker from Delhi, started his Internet Relay Chat Private Group named Indian Cyber Defense which unites mostly Indian hackers to hack completely Pakistani websites and hackers. He formed the group to retaliate against Pakistani hackers after the death of his army father in the Kargil war. There were other members in this group. One was LOcHNess Mon$ter aka Lalitha Banerjee or Lily as a pet name, a cyber crime lawyer from Kolkata. The second one was JaZzM!ne aka Mohseen Shaikh, a Tech reporter and a journalist from Hyderabad. They all received a puzzle standard JPEG format image called 'Chakravyuh' in the group from a hacktivist, @$HOK. Through this steganography, it was a once in a lifetime chance to become the god of the hacker world, make amends and do something meaningful for the country. This puzzle was connected to the Pandavas in the Mahabharata.
The story is very fast-paced and patriotic. This is book two from the hacker series by the author, Gautam Mayekar. After reading this one, I'm very excited to read the first series. The author is so clear in his writing that even a computer illiterate would be able to understand the story. Along with the protagonists, the author also beautifully described the cities where they live. I liked Lalitha Banerjee's city Kolkata as I also live in the same city. Each character has a backstory that can make the readers teary-eyed.
The book title and book cover image are very attractive. Storytelling is impressive. The plot is uncommon. Along with the main plot, the author tried his best to make us aware of the casting couch in films, the jihad of Muslims, and people's behaviour toward terrorists in the subplots. Overall, a novel full of tension. My rating for the book is 4.5/5.
We're so hacked spins around three characters, Rudra, Lily and Mohseen. This multitude of individuals are specialists in the hacking field. What happens one day is that they are approached with a riddle and are informed that assuming they tackle it and win, they can do how they've for a long time needed to help their country. The individual who approaches them calls himself @shok.
Rudra has a strong vision that he wants to hack Pakistani’s social media sites and then ICD came into the picture. People may feel bad about Rudra, but I genuinely felt Rudra is so matured and very intelligent, he even didn’t say one word about his mother’s action. Remembering of Rudra’s father death and hallucinating of Pakistani’s ruthless activities would make us so emotional
The book title and cover page pictures are exceptionally appealing. Narration was extraordinary, amazing. The plot is unprecedented. Alongside the fundamental plot, the creator made an honest effort to make us mindful of the projecting lounge chair in films, the jihad of Muslims, and individuals' way of behaving toward psychological militants in the subplots.
I love the book font style I feel like I’m reading my chatting with my friend. The font style itself so creative and story is so engaging. It feels like you are watching Hollywood movies. And Orkut had literally stopped me, and it took me back my college days. Those days I used to put scraps and used to chat with my friends.
Mr. Blue's corelation of Mahabharata was a masterpiece. I could even feel the Chaupar game, I wonder that is our modern days Ludo game which I used to play in lockdown. It has so much of technicalities, operating systems, and other tools which they were used for hacking.
Highly recommended I can give 5/5 for this wonderful book.
We are so hacked, is an amazingly exhilarating novel that has the idea of hacking as the title proposes. The title and cover are excellent and suitably set for the plot. Every one of the specialized terms are introduced in a straightforward reasonable way by the creator. The book generally rotates around hacking. The story is remarkable and intriguing. The book begins with hero Rudra presentation, Rudra is moral programmer who is propelled by his dad who battled kargil war and demised. He is working for Indian Cyber Defense with different experts exclusively liable for safeguarding Indian servers and target foe countries sites and servers. He shapes a gathering of programmers who assaults Pakistan sites, one of the parts in group is Lalitha Banerjee also known as Lily who is criminal legal counselor from Calcutta and other is Mohseen correspondent from Hyderabad. One day they get a riddle called Chakravyuh from Ashok. This group will respond to call. In excursion of tackling the riddle the creator likewise contacts their own life and occurrences which cause clients to interface with characters. The book additionally has associations with Mahabharat. The group thinks about this as any open door to show their affection towards country. Muslim Jihad, mental assailants and how to safeguard self from these are talked about. This is awesome story plot and writer extended it in extremely spotless and simple understanding way. The cover pic is great decision and a decent perused. The characters are very much evolved and there is an ideal equilibrium kept up with all through the story. Composing style is peruser cordial and dazzling. Each page keeps you as eager and anxious as ever. One can feel the aggravation of each person. The end was so awesome. I appreciated perusing each part. I'm certain everybody will observe this book fascinating. Presently, I'm anxious to peruse the primary book of this series. Also, from the mystery introduced by the writer for his next book I'm certain I'll get it as it discharges. This is a brilliant plot.
We're So Hacked is an amazing and interesting book that you can't put it down. The book is written really very well by the author and the story is pretty interesting and intriguing too. The story is very well written and presented.
The book focuses on 4 main people named Mr. Orange, Ms. White, Mr. Green and Mr. Blue, the story revolves around all these 4 people and how they plan and try to execute an unthinkable hack. From starting till end you will be hooked as you are eager to know what will happen next. Starting from the "Reconnaissance, Scanning, Breaking in, Maintaining access and Clearing Tracks" they will follow each and every step of the plan but will they be successful in pulling of the biggest hack of their lives? Will they ever know the secret behind the hack? Will they ever find out who Mr. Blue is? Read the book to find out the answers.
The book is penned down really well by the author. The language is pretty lucid and he also explained each and every technical term used in the book really well so that everyone can understnd and relate to the book. I personally loved the book as I am from Computers background, so i really enjoyed reading about the hack and all the technicalities. Also want to read the first book of the hacker series as that also seems interesting. Eagerly waiting for the next book in the series.
This is Book #2 of the Hacker Series. As I started I wondered if the story would make sense and going further I realized it was good as a standalone as well. So extra credits for that! Three hackers Rudra, Lily, and Mohseen are lured into hacking with the notion to serve the nation and protect by @shok. What happens and how the process takes place step by step is how the story goes about. Who is this person is trustworthy is what you will find out when you read the book. The references to Mahabharat – the Chakravyuh, the numbers, and their connection to the Mahabharat make the read even more interesting. It does not deal only with this epic but there are a lot of technicalities too. However, this does not slow down or throw off the reader. The background for each of the characters is well written. A lot of terms related to the internet and hacking are used and the best part is that the author has explained them so well that even a layman can understand them clearly! The mention of Orkut and scraps made me so nostalgic! The storyline is interesting and the thrill of the chase made me so eager to read fast and hence finished it in a couple of hours. The world of hackers and hacking was interesting to read about. The article that is written by Mohseen -the list of how the public is duped/robbed is an eye-opener. The cover is perfect for the storyline. The title and chapter fonts are so creative and catchy and so apt for the theme. The language is lucid and easy to follow. After reading this book, I am now tempted to read the other works by the author. Looking forward to the next part in this series as well. Pick up this book and you won’t be disappointed. A really good thriller that will keep you hooked till the end!
The book is an interesting read into the life of 3 seemingly unrelated people who are brought together by circumstances. The story has an interesting arc and Gautam uses his background as a cyber security professional to bring authenticity to the plot by explaining the various technical aspects of hacking that he brings into the plot. The storytelling is gripping and it keeps you turning the pages to discover what the group is up to. I liked the technical details that Gautam incorporates into the plot to make it seem authentic. Another interesting aspect of the story is the pace of the story which moves steadily, but becomes fast-paced towards the end. The idea to use the Mahabharata as a plot point was quite imaginative as well. While the story reads nicely, there are some things that did not work for me. The main point for me is that of editing. There are a few grammar issues here and there, but most importantly, the Kindle version could have been formatted better in terms of readability. The climax is something I did not expect and it is in line with Gautam’s style because just like the hackers, he likes a bit of show and awe.
Coming to the characters, Rudra, Lily and Mohseen are three people who wouldn’t have normally crossed paths but for their common interest in the Darkweb and cyber security. I liked how Gautam creates three distinct people and gives all of them something to hide, and how their history impacts their decisions in the present time. The characters are given sufficient time to develop and get their stories in line with the plot.
Overall, the second book in the series is an interesting read, and irrespective of the fact whether you have read Book 1, this book can be read independently, but reading the first part is highly encouraged.
The book “We're So Hacked” by Gautam Mayekar is the second book in the Hacker Series. It is laced with dollops of suspense and thrill throughout the storyline which has an India-Pakistan cyberwar as its base theme. The story is divided into five parts that consisted of twenty-three chapters making it a short and breezing read. It primarily begins with an introduction to our main protagonists i.e. Rudra Pratap Singh who is an ethical hacker, Lily a.k.a Lalitha Banerjee a cybercrime lawyer, and Mohsin is a journalist. All three of them are a part of an underground hacking forum named ICD which stands for Indian Cyber Defence. They deface and infiltrate Pakistani Government websites by spreading viruses into them. Then @shok enters into the storyline and introduces himself to them as a RAW agent and asks them to crack the various stages of the Chakravyuh puzzle in order to do something beneficial and serve the nation. This leads them to the next target CRAWL which is the secret division of the RAW organization itself. Finally, it brings onto the main question that haunts them as to where @shok is leading them and does he have wrong intentions to cause harm to the nation.
The author has written the plot in an engaging and gripping way that keeps the readers hooked onto it. You’ll be left spellbound as the story unfolds and you progress through these chapters. Also, the author’s professional background as a Cyber Security Professional shows up in the authentic, immaculate, and intricate writing style of this book. People who enjoy reading books about the world of technology, computer science, the internet, and hacking should definitely pick this one up next reading.
Has the concept of hacking ever intrigued you? Have you ever wondered who these people are? Do they live a life like us too?
Honestly, I felt a hacker is one person who is always in a dark setup and wearing an oversized hoodie, so basically a very Bollywood kinda setup. (I am only talking about professional hackers). I am very sure many of you may have the same perception too. But I urge you to read "We are so Hacked" to dive deep into a hacker's life. They have a life, like us.
We are so Hacked, is the story of Rudra, a true patriot, and his other hacker fellows. Rudra unites all of them to beat the Pakistani hackers driven by a very emotional motive.
All the hackers have their very unique life stories. But they were all united for the love of their country.
I am not a tech geek but while reading the book I never faced a single problem in understanding the terms, such as the author's writing.
Moreover, Gautam Mayekar has a very lucid writing style. He has simplified every single bit of the book making it one for all types of readers.
Another thing I noticed was the fonts, they have some hidden symbols written in them too, it was a very unique thing.
Gautam understood what India truly is when I read the initial chapters, the faces certain people make looking at someone, and especially laying focus on how Indians have a different dialect for some letters. It was all soo good to read.
Tech geek or somebody like me, you should definitely pick this book up for a whole new experience.
The title of the book says it all. It revolves around three ethical hackers Rudra, Lalitha and Mohseen.
Rudra, a freelancer working in cyber security, Lalitha(Lilly) , a cybercrime Lawyer, Mohseen working as a Journalist. All of them struggling with their own personal life but connected with ICD created by Rudra. Oneday a message appeared which changed their life in wholesome, a message which triggred their emotions of past from Ashok.
Rudra, wanted to be a army officer stopped by her mother missing his dad all the time. Lilly, an introvert enjoying her sole life, Mohseen coming from a small family background has set their happiness in ethical hacking and decoding the lives of Pakistanis through hacking.
What is that message? How they are going to uncode it?
First of all the writing style is so Good. The mention of PUBG is the main attraction for me towards the book. A pubg lover going to enjoy it. The names were written in coding language which is interesting. Gautam being a cyber security professional has used his professionalism in the book which makes it authentic and a engaging read. This is the second of the Hacker series but it can be read standalone as I haven't read the first one. The cover page is so deep, like the book It has hidden so many things in it. A patriotic reader, Pubg players and little bit of thriller, mystery made this book a worth reading.
The story starts where a Hacker name RP Singh Rudra who is ethical hacker he create private chat groups to cracks Pakistani websites. His father died during kargil war conflict and he is on revenge with Pakistan basically Pakistani hackers.
other characters in the story
Lily, a cyber-crime lawyer who work in Kolkata her original name Ms Lalitha Banerjee Mohseen, a journalist who work in Hyderabad IT Firm.
They are all a part of Cyber defence of india and there work is to hack pakistani websites and spread viruses attack them.
one day they all received msg from @$HOK its a mystery code which they have to idenfy "Chakravyuh" this is the golden oppurtunity for them to become famous in hacker world. The Ancient story of Pandavas Mahabharata is correlated with this in some way.
The story move very fast and as the Chakravyuh get crack they get deeper and deeper in it they developing cyber weapon for war
Fighting their personal demons, dealing with confusion & rebellion within the group,
they race against time to hack their next target – CRAWL, a secret division of RAW itself. But what could be the motive?
Who is @$HOK really?
What is he leading them into ? Are they really serving the nation or is there something more sinister going on ? Grab the copy to know more
This is the second book in the series i love the nice plot after a long from indian author on cyber hacking subject i m going to read the first part soon.
Hacker series is the trend whether it be related to literature or cinema. 'We're So Hacked' by Gautam Mayekar is set to be a benchmark in this regard. This being the second book in the series it looks like there will be an adaptation of it into a movie. The story grips you right in the beginning with the three protagonists drawing your attention and requesting you to root for them. Rudra, Lily, and Mohseen being part of Indian Cyber Defence are willing to serve the nation and defend it from all harm. But their encounter with @shok is what distorts the whole plan, but does it? it is for you, the reader to find out!
Gautam Mayekar with this book presents a perfect scenario of how we get accustomed to or allured by a system and become slaves to it. Although we might not truly agree to the terms as we can't get past them we are prisoners of the broken system. Watching Heropanti 2 you might have noticed something similar. Bablu the protagonist gets accustomed to the corrupt system hacks and draws money for Laila but then later realizes the harm he has done and tries to rectify the whole situation. Rudra, Lily, and Mohseen although trying to solve the puzzle Chakravyuh which hints at links to the Mahabharat is a view of the present world. A world that is yet to be discovered and understood with its umpteen and varied issues. Well written book with a perfectly capturing cover. A book you shouldn't miss to read, sooner or later.
The second book in the "hacked series" by author Gautam Mayekar - We're So Hacked is a wonderful continuation of the first book "I'm So Hacked" which I had the opportunity to read and on the basis of which I picked this one up.
I love his writing style, it is playful, to say the least. Just like the title and the attractive plot of the story, you'll get to experience wordplay with the fonts in the book.
That being said about the face value of the book, I'd like to move on to the more important part of it - The beginning of the story felt a tiny bit slow but as the story progressed it picked up the pace which made me change my mind and I actually found this to be a positive trait of the book.
The three main characters of the story - Rudra, Lily, and Mohseen are all ethical hackers and are brought together by a very mysterious yet interesting character - @shok through a secret puzzle. Out of these 3, my favorite was undoubtedly Rudra. With a charismatic personality and a balanced approach to life, he was the most intriguing character throughout.
The story is filled with moments where you feel on edge and then when you're just getting a little too comfortable the plot surprises you again. For me, this was the highlight of the story and the very reason why I feel this book deserves 5 stars.
For people in the field of ethical hacking or related or even remotely related fields, this book is surely a fun read.
Three hackers meet at a common forum where they receive a puzzle from an anonymous person. The ambiguous multi-leveled code that they have to solve using their hacking skills will give them an opportunity to contribute in the interest of the nation. The three young patriots, oblivious to each other's identity, decide to pursue it individually.
The plot revolves around the three characters and their pursuit of finding the answers. The author has invoked Mahabharata, the Indian Mythological Epic in the story that blends well with the game. He has presented the puzzle as 'Chakravyuh' which was a symbolic concentric formation that was used in the Kurukshetra war in 'The Mahabharata'.
Book 2 from The Hacker series, this book takes us through a lot of hacking terms, chat rooms, code breaking, high level security breaches by these brilliant hackers. It can also be read as a standalone. The end is a teaser for the next books grand plot. The tempo of the book is maintained, but it does tend to get technical in patches. Young adult thriller readers will enjoy this series, more if you like coding and are tech-savy.
This book is an intriguing and interesting read. It can keep the reader hooked till end and with the same curiosity and suspense. The story has three main characters Rudra, Lily and Mohseen, each of them is dedicated and loyal towards their country and duty. They're a part of Indian cyber defence and come across a challenge they're given by a stranger. What is this challenge? How many layers this challenge will unfold? Completion of challenge will be for good or for bad? The answers of these questions have the essence of the story, so I'll better not answer them. In the initial chapters the suspense building is all about how these characters will relate. But as we proceed forward the suspense building was remarkable. Each chapter brought something new with it and layers of the challenge unfolded step by step. Narration and language were lucid. The author bears a good knowledge about cyber security , pubg and coding which makes the read very interesting. It's the second part of hacker series but it's not necessary to read the first one ti understand this. Recommended to thriller, mystery, sci fi , technological fiction lovers.
“We're So Hacked” by Gautam Mayekar is the second book in the Hacker Series. Rudra, a freelancer working in cyber security, Lalitha(Lilly) , a cybercrime Lawyer, Mohseen working as a Journalist. Rudra, wanted to be a army officer stopped by her mother missing his dad all the time. Lilly, an introvert enjoying her sole life, Mohseen coming from a small family background has set their happiness in ethical hacking and decoding the lives of Pakistanis through hacking.

Those who make it first will be the chosen ones. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be the gods of the hacker world and do something worthwhile for your country. I love the way author explained every character and their back I love the way he explained the locations in book. I love the character of Ashok and it really creates a suspence that the book irresistible.
We're so hacked revolves around three characters, Rudra, Lily and Mohseen. All these people are experts in the hacking field. What happens one day is that they are approched with a puzzle and are told that if they solve it and win, they can do what they've always wanted to do for their country. The person who approaches them calls himself @shok. It was a completely fresh read for me. The story was very gripping. All the three characters seem broken from the inside. They have things to prove to others, to themselves. I liked Rudra. And @shok, he is an absolute mystery. Even though I didn't know the abcs of computers and ethical hacking, I was able to enjoy the story thoroughly. And it is beginner friendly too! Kaafi engaging! It's written in easy to read language, except for the technical parts lol. It is a nice blend of patriotism, new found friendships, a bit of (I'd rather say much) technology, a tinge of love and a lot of thrill. I was also fascinated by the concept of Chaupar. And I came to know a few little things about Mahabharata, I never knew! Unputdownable🔥
Some people's writing skills often amaze you and leave you spellbound with their ability to create something out of their passion. After reading the previous books by Gautam and knowing what to expect ,I pick this with huge expectations and it did meet most of them.
Just following the same style which he has adopted in his previous novels too this one also has a technical touch to it but it is simplified due to elaborate explanation by author when and wherever it is required. Something which I found new in this is the emotional touch to it . There are instances which breaks your heart and how islamic jihad has affected us is also realistically portrayed.
The best part about this novel is the way Gautam simplifies and portrays things. Also the mention of epic tale Mahabharata and building the story like a chakravyuh is quite creative. Just like its predecessor, it is surprising at times. The character of Rudra especially is crafted very well and the backstory of all caters well to the overall structure and look of the novel
All in all another unputdownable read by the writer
Lilly, Mohseen and Rudra are working with @sh0k and the book brings to you how one purpose brings three people of different backgrounds to save the country. . The question remains are they really saving the country and how are they doing it as hackers. The book is elaborative and has to be read with paying attention to every minute details because if you miss even one bit you will not understand the ending. . That's what I like about the author. They keep the best for the last and meeting an old friend in the epilogue was a treat that you will certainly enjoy. I will point out that this is a digital thriller and the narrative is descriptive. This book is for people who have interest in cybercrime, artificial intelligence and brings the three colours of the Indian flag. . I enjoyed the attempt at the social commentary that author makes in the narrative and how a personal vendetta becomes one. Definitely recommend this book! This genre is not read much and the author has explored the themes well. Go pick it up!
