Thanks so much for checking out my bio. I'm Jenna Gunn, author of over 25 romance novels including multiple best selling titles.
My passion is writing thrilling action, high heat, suspense and rescuer romance books with fun and unexpected plot twists.
I love deep characters who overcome pain, mistrust, and damaged pasts to find their way alongside the mate of their dreams.
The men and women in my books have flaws, heart, fears and passion, just like we do—layers that make them slip into your heart.
All of my books are first person and include two Point of View. I mainly write MF contemporary romance, but have written MFM menage. It was super fun to write with three POVs.
Many books are in a series so you get to know the families, (5 brothers in the Archer Brothers Series, 5 brothers in The Eden Mountain Firefighters, and Teammates in the Agile Security and Rescue Series). All of the books are standalone and can be enjoyed that way too.
I've accomplished my dream as an author when my reader can drop into a book and forget the rest of the world.

Let me start by saying I have enjoyed all the Agile Search & Rescue series, but I do have my favorites. Mako surprised me because he was in the background in previous books and we didn't know anything other than he was a hacker level, tech genius. Turns out there was a lot more to him - wink, wink. I expected Erika to be strong and sassy because she is Wolf and Simona's sister, but she also surprised me. She will do anything to help those who need her. Mako and Erika have chemistry from their first meeting on. Sure, Mako has been obsessed with finding her for over a year, but he couldn't have predicted her reaction to him. These two clash almost from the start. Erika is determined, strong and brave. Mako has the same qualities, so you can imagine the sparing that takes place between them. "Clash Landing" has action, adventure, danger and steam. If you love strong alphas and feisty heroines, I strongly suggest this series. Jenna keeps giving us steamy, tense stories that make you cheer for the couples happily ever after. I also highly recommend the Eden Mountain Firefighters series because they are related to this series and often cross back and forth. And those Strong brothers... Sigh.

If you’re looking for a book packed with sensuality, heat, passion, suspense, and action, then this is the book for you! It's sweet, it's sexy, it's heartwarming. It hits you in the feels. Once again, Jenna Gunn has written a unique love story with complex and intense characters. You might think it'd be difficult-- maybe even impossible-- for an author to maintain the same high level of spicy romance, great characters, humor, and all-around great story-telling in the fifth book of a series, but obviously not for Jenna. The chemistry between Mako and Erika is off the charts. Erika is feisty, sassy and fiercely independent. Although she is initially verbally combative, Mako takes her comments in stride and doesn’t allow her resistance to deter his deep feelings for her. These two strong characters make an amazing team and are rewarded with a sweet and sexy happy ending. Clash Landing is book 5 of the sexy, action-packed Agile Search and Rescue series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but why would you miss out on all the previous amazing books? All of her books are written in dual POV’s, which offers the readers insight to their inner thoughts and feelings. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

“War torn countries have a way of pulling me into their vortex. It can be exciting, but I’m not sure if it’s good for me in the long run. But hey, no one lives forever.”
Meet Matias “Mako” Wright, an ex-Navy Seal, Cowboy and all around a beast of a man. He has been working for the Agile Securiy-Rescue team for quite some time. He has been tasked to find the last missing sibling of Simona and Wolf - their sister Erika “Artemis” Cerna. Tho he has been searching for over an year, luck (and Erika) as evade him. But the ex-seal is stubborn and won’t give up until is mission is complete.
“I study the image that I don’t have to examine anymore. She’s tattooed on my brain now.”
Mako has been obsessed with his mission in more ways than one. He’s completely obsessed with the photo he carries in his pocket. He knows Erika is the one for him and he can’t wait to be face to face with the blond beauty.
“She’s a living angel. The picture was pathetic compared to the real thing. If I was in total and utter admiration of that photo, I’m in serious trouble for the real thing. She’s knee-buckling gorgeous, and there’s not a drop of makeup, not a hint of lipstick, not a curling iron in miles. Fuck, that’s refreshing.”
Erika is a living angel for real. The doctor, has been working hard to help victims of traffic and is trying to dismantle a trafficking ring with the help of her fellow rebel. She’s though, courageous and driven!
“A war like this is hard to win.” Her eyes snap into hard focus. “That’s no reason to quit. That’s every reason to go harder.”
She’ll stop at nothing to help those less fortunate. Meaning not even a fearless attraction to Mako, will step in her way.
“What are you made of, lead? No wait, let me guess, petrified cow shit. You are from Texas after all.”
I loved Mako and Erika as a couple. Tho they had their differences and they both were super stubborn, we could see from the start that they were a great match for each other.
“That’s called an erection, in case you don’t remember from anatomy class. And it happens when a man is insanely attracted to someone.” Her eyes flicker to mine. “It also happens when someone gets a TBI, when a stiff wind blows, and when mosquitos chase you, apparently.”
Love, love, loved their banter, their unusual beginning and the explosive chemistry. I loved how Erika was so driven and kept Mako on his toes.
“Life always brings hope. Even if it’s just for a short bit. A little ray of sunshine in the dark.”
I loved this book, but I felt the ending was a little rushed. I’d have liked a more extensive and detailed coverages on Makos mission with Leandra. Would’ve loved to have read about Erika’s first conversation with her siblings, their first encounter and so one. Also would’ve loved a little bit more about her and Makos life after they returned.
I really loved it! From start to finish, this steamy Hot, action-packed page-turner kept me glued to each page and kept me going and going. Unputdownable! I was curious about Mako (Matias) and he didn't let me down. Erika was a surprise, but she was also true to form, being the missing sister Simona and Wolf were still looking for. Mako and Artemis are the perfect alias for these two who are so much more than they appear. This clash of titans has everything you might want in a read: laughter, tears, angst, anger, reckoning and a HEA that makes your heart sing. This series just keep getting better and better. Can't wait to read the next one and the next one.... I received a free ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
Wasn’t sure what to expect but it keeps you wanting to turn the pages. Artemis is determined and independent not wishing to rely on a man. Mako is stubborn and headstrong. Making them a match. The story is fluent with a few twists that will keep you guessing. All good for a follow up.

Former Navy SEAL Matias "Mako" Wright works for Agile Security & Rescue Team and he's been on a mission to help find his teammates long lost sister Erika. For over a year he has been searching and traveling through out the world chasing lead after lead. She's a master of evasion and seems to always be a step ahead of him and the team until he discovers she's in South America. Dr. Erika Cerna helps human trafficking victims in the worst parts of the world. She is determined to save them and put an end to the people involved no matter how dangerous. The traffickers are out to stop her from continuing her work so very few know who she is or where she'll be. So when a gorgeous massive man claiming to be one of the good guys knows her real name and says he's there to rescue her/take her to siblings she knows nothing about she immediately hears warning bells go off in her head. Especially since she doesn't even use her real name instead she goes by a code name Artemis and only stays a short time at any given place. Lets just say they clash and crash from almost the beginning. She is strong, determined, brave and stubborn but he is just as determined. There is action, danger, suspense and oh so delicious chemistry that makes the jungle even hotter than it already is.
Jenna has a way to write characters that feel real, that you can't help but cheer for and hope for their happily ever after. This is another great addition to the Agile Security-Rescue series.
I received a free ARC from the author through Booksprout an I'm voluntarily leaving my review.
This is the fifth book in Jenna Gunn's "Agile Security" series, it is completely standalone but I would urge reading the books in sequence to get the most enjoyment. Ex Navy SEAL Matias (Mako) Wright, now a member of the Agile Security team had carried a picture of the beautiful blond for over a year, he couldn't wait to meet her, he was perhaps a little in love with her picture but Dr. Erika Cerna, the lost sister of two of his colleagues, had manage to evade him, how could she do that , he was an ex SEAL, he could trace anyone........except the beautiful Erika. Dr. Erika Cerna went under the pseudonym of Artemis, she worked under the radar, she moved often and left no trace, she had a few people who looked out for her but her life was in danger, she was single handedly trying to take down a successful human trafficking cartel and they wanted to find her as much as Mako did. Their meeting was turbulent, Erika was furious that she had been found but no one, not even the hunky ex SEAL was going to stop her rescuing young girls from their kidnappers. The banter between feisty, independent Erika and determined Mako was stormy and amusing, Erika wasn't giving an inch but had she met her match with Mako, he has been searching for over a year and he wasn't giving up now. This story follows Erika and Mako falling in love, the attraction is magnetic but they are poles apart, it is action packed, suspense filled and most important it has a lovely HEA. I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.
She’s the last of the siblings to be found and has been the most difficult to track and locate. Matias Wright had been close but missed her seconds. But he felt it. Deep within, his gut told him he would find his mark. He’s waited patiently with a single photo in his pocket. But now he knows everything. He has finally located Dr. Erika Cerna. And now she will know the rest of her siblings. It can’t come soon enough.
Except Erika is not going along with the plan.
Not realizing her life is in danger from all corners of the world, Erika is determined to remain in South America helping the victims of trafficking. Besides it is kinda crazy that after all of these years, she has seven siblings.
All around the world located in some of the most dangerous areas, Mako and Artemis clash while trying to protect the innocent. Constant action. Steamy, hot, bewildering sex. It’s everything the Agile Security and Rescue series has provided. And more! Jenna Gunn is the romance writer to watch. This series is smokin’.
Be sure to read the Foreward explaining the code names, Mako and Artemis. It’s simply wild seeing the similarities come to life.
I received this book as an advance review copy free from Booksprout. I have read and reviewed this book voluntarily. --Brenda, JustViews
Look, I know that I'm getting some great action and a high sensual level from this author going in, so yea for me! Another great hit, a very sexy couple and adventure awaits! This was written so well, so heated and interesting all the way! I LOVE how attracted her couples are to one another, it really adds to a book when your leads are so attracted...bringing out some HOT times!
Going in to save someone isn't easy, especially when said female doesn't want to be saved! She insists to continue her work, but he's just as determined to see to her safety...and her heart.
Omg the mouth on this man. Lol, made for a good time for sure! Lol. The heat between these two. So yummy...Action-packed, HIGH heat, perfect. There is never a dull moment. This was such a great read. I love it when they bicker, but also when they give in. Cannot put her books down. I've heard of our author and finally got smart and took the plunge! SO glad that I did. I just get so excited to read couples that really crave one another and job well done. Again! There is nothing missing in this book. You get all aspects of a awesome love story. I am a greedy thing so I cannot WAIT for more!!.

A high intensity romantic suspense novel from the very first page. Former Navy SEAL Matias “Mako” Wright is getting close to the end of his mission. His mission, as an agent for Agile Security and Rescue, has been to find and bring Dr. Erika Cerna home. She is unaware that she has a family of siblings, one of whom is suffering a medical crisis. Erika, known as Artemis, is involved in saving and treating women who have been trafficked and injured. She, along with the assistance of her friend and former SEAL Ronaldo, know that if they are caught, they will be killed. Mako knows that there is a bounty on her head and when she is finally within reach, she slips away once again…but he is not giving up. He wants to keep her safe and he wants her for himself. His presence totally unravels her, this is not her, she is not swayed by attraction. Will he be able to convince her to return home to a family she has never known? But first, will they survive another attempt on Erika’s life? WOW! I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review from the author. (paytonpuppy)
Loved this story about Dr. Erika Cerna and Mako. This grabbed me from the first page to the last. The premise of Mako falling in love with a photo reminded me how written letters and photos influenced connections in my younger days (old lady here). Our Agile Search and Rescue member Mako who finally caught the elusive Erika after months of chasing after her was an instant chemistry as she boarded a plane in San Miguel. The plot was intriguing about the trouble they got into as they crash in the jungle and Erika's enemies (Human Traffickers) brought the danger as Mako is trying to save and rescue Erika to send her to meet her biological brother and sister. Then the budding romance that simmer between them kept me swooning as I read this engaging enjoyable story that I volunteer to read and review via Booksprout. Another delightful story in the Agile Search and Rescue series.
This was excellent and different! I haven't read the rest of the series yet, but now I need too. It says it's angsty. And yeah, angsty times 100! Erika doesn't want to be around Mako at all. She is a woman on a mission, one that is very important to her, and he's a major distraction. Mako has wanted Erika since he first saw her picture 14 months before they meet. With how much she fought him it made it that much more sweeter when they finally fell in love. Well, her. He was already there. Lol. I really loved it. Well done Jenna!

Erica, Artemis, is one of the biological siblings, there's a dark Web assignment out to get her. Matias, Mako, is sent to find her. He's spent ages trawling around the world, just a few steps behind. He's enamoured by her photograph. When he finally finds her, she doesn't want to be rescued, she's treating women and girls she's rescued from a trafficker. She's also trying to catch the head of the traffickers. Mako catches up with her, but she delays him, hilarious! Sparks are flying!

An excellent, funny, romantic suspense from Jenna.
Oh my goodness!!! I loved reading, Clash Landing (Agile Security and Rescue, #5) by Jenna Gunn because it was such explosive chemistry between Matias (Mako) and Erika (Artemis). This was a very intense story that had steamy moments and the chemistry was off the charts for these two characters. I was reading wondering what was going to happen next. Loved the story and the series. Would highly recommend reading this. It will probably melt your kindle. I know mine was on "fire." I received an ARC of this story and I am voluntarily choosing to leave this review.
Clash Landing is so aptly named: Artemis clashes with Mako from the moment their eyes meet, but lands safely in his arms time and time again. More so than even the other books in the series - and that is saying something - the suspense plot behind their romance kept me on the edge of my seat. I was never so glad to see a happy end! As expected from this author, she gives us glimpses of the couples from previous books as well as a hint of what is yet to come. I can't wait!.

They wouldn't put too much on a man would they. Find their sister no mater how long it takes. Well, Mato has found her, but she's not going quietly, quickly, or otherwise. Parts of this are funny, parts are tragic, steamy parts, and a HEA. LOVE this series and the story keeps you on the edge as to whats going to happen next.

I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review. This is Mako (Matias) and Erika's story, chasing the missing sibling around the globe has been Mako's focus for well over a year. He finally catches up with her, and the sparks soon start to fly!!! Throughly enjoyed reading this book, great storyline, fab characters and loved the HEA. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
Pffuuuu! What an emotional roller coaster is that ??? I was aware that Mako wouldn’t have a picnic with Erika at first sight.. but this ? Wow! The only thing missing for me personally was the crash of the ring. I would have loved to see them burn. But as it is, it’s good enough. You’ll understand after reading… perhaps… and an Agile barbecue. That’s not alright Jenna. Just so to say. But it was sooo good that my complain comes at a high level. Enjoy your read / ride !

Erika and Mako do not hit it off right away. They have an instant attraction to each other, but he came out of nowhere, and she doesn't trust him, who blames her. I loved the character's thoughts and their banter back and forth. There is suspense throughout as we read about Erika's job and Mako trying to protect her.

The sparks fly from beginning to end. Matias and Ericka are fierce in and out of the bedroom. The Agile Security and Rescue series is an excellent high-energy romance that keeps you engaged from first glance to happily ever after. I think Matias and Erika are my favorite Agile members so far.

Mako fell in love with a woman in a picture. She becomes his whole purpose when he spends over a year trying to find her for her siblings. Erica is a Doctor working under very dangerous conditions trying to save victims of human trafficking. Erica is very hard to find and moves often. When Mako does find her the attraction is very mutual. This is one of my favorites in this series. STEAMY as all get out yet both characters though sassy have huge hearts and are very kind. Don’t want to miss this!
Artemis and Mako are a very steamy couple and kept me on my toes in this book. Artemis is very sneaky and cleaver and gives Mako a run for his money this is an amazing book and I loved reading every minute of it.

What a riot! The easy crazy banter between Erica & Mako leaves you laughing & cursing. The push & pull so strong has you rooting for HEA first them both. Love the secondary characters that give meaningful impact to the action & suspense. Absolutely enjoyable indeed.

Mako was determined to find Erika but she was always one step ahead. Finally the day has come to catch up to her. She is a pistol and one heck of a doctor and refuses to leave the mission she is on. Great nook, action packed and chemistry she is trying to avoid.

Amazing book! This is a great addition to the series. I feel like we’ve been waiting to find out who Erika is forever! She’s such a strong character and perfect for Mako. I can’t wait to see in the next book in the series how the newfound family continue to grow.
