Killer for hire.

Angel of death.

President of Fallen Ravens MC.

My life is rooted in evil and sin. My hands are washed in the blood of corrupted souls, including my own.

In the end, they all beg for mercy. They all ask for forgiveness. But absolution is not mine to give.

All I want is their pain.

I accepted long ago my soul belonged to the devil. Redemption for a man like me doesn't exist.

Sage should have walked away, but she refused. That was her first mistake. Her second mistake was giving herself to me. Now that I've had a taste, I'll be damned if I let her go.

Sage is perfect.

I'm broken.

But she just might be my salvation.

The annihilated MC responsible for the death of our former President-the man I called family is being resurrected and growing in numbers.

Threats are made, and a bitter rivalry is reborn.

She's mine, and they took her.

Now I'm seeking vengeance.

I won't stop until their blood stains the streets of Salem.

This was really good.
I wasn’t sure I would like it at first. They meet in a way that I hate when authors use.
I hated it here, too. But. It wasn’t dragged out or detailed, and things moved along quickly after that, so I didn’t end up hating Salem from the start like I usually would. (He’s getting a lap dance in the strip club that turns into a BJ, while Sage is there, watching)

The rest of the book was really good though.
A little heartbreaking after 60% or so, but also had some funny moments.
I really loved that Sage has such a strong backbone, and so much sass.

The plot was up and down, and kept everything really interesting.
The sex was hot as fuck, Salem has a dirty mouth on him and I appreciate it. Trust me.

I really liked the characters and what their MC does and I thought the vibe of the book was super cool.

I just really liked it, and I can’t wait to see who’s gonna be next.

This is my first time reading these authors, and while I did enjoy the book, the writing was extremely choppy which took most of the emotional aspect away for me. I definitely still felt Salem and Sage's connection, but I still felt like it could have been more. I also would have liked to see Salem grovel more than he did after all the shit he pulled, but I am glad they got their hea.

The suspense in this book is what really stood out for me, and despite my conflicting feelings for the way Salem handed things with his woman, I love that he was the angel of death for men who harm women and children. What he did for Aya made my heart melt, and I can't wait for her story! Sukies too! There's so much more to uncover about both of those extraordinary women and I will definitely be reading their books!!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions **

I think that good books r like mad at me or something and not allowing me to find them. Jfc this was such a dumb book. So the premise is new girl moves to town with her best friend, they decide to go to a club which is actually a strip club, she sees hot mc guy, when she's not looking other guy tries to drug her, he sees and beats up/kills that guy. Relationship ensues. Umm not that I have a huge issue with that whole plot if it was simply just done correctly. I found myself forcing myself to try to get through like it was a pretty short book but it took me forever. For example dialogue included things like.
"Never leave your drink unattended," I growl.
My mystery woman raises her brow. "Did you just growl at me?" She turns to the tall blonde who has moved to stand beside her. "Did he just growl at me?"
The blonde thinks she looks concerned with the situation and also tries hiding a smile back. "I think so, babe."

If you are like me you clearly see the award winning writing here but if you don't, I will give you a few other sneak peaks. There are few words that are used for pussy that I geuinley cannot stand like there are a few that are really ehh but this book oml..
"the boss hasn't had any of the girls here take care of him since the night you and your friend came in, and when he found Misty, one of the other dancers, naked on the couch in his office earlier today, he kicked her out and told her not do that shit again. When Misty asked why, he said he has a woman who tends to his dick now and that he wasn't interested in her snatch."

Yes you read that right, snatch, SNATCH, fucking snatch. Are you 82 years old like wtf is a snatch. Every single time I read it in the book I wanted to throw up. Anyway....third time is the charm and imma leave y'all with one last quote.

"Fuck no. We only go after worthless pieces of shit. I've slit the throats of men who have raped women, men who have killed innocent fathers that were driving home from work because they thought killing someone would be, in their words fun. I've tortured the lowest of the low, men who put their filthy hands on children. I've put bullets in the heads of the corrupt who knowingly let a man who tortured , raped, and nearly killed a teenage girl at a party go free." Salem stares at me like he's trying to figure me out. "Fuck," he hisses then shakes his head, his fingers digging into flesh at my sides. "Fucking fuck me."

He's a bad guy y'all he kills bad people. Like idk this brings me to one of my last issues with the book which is the book loved telling. Like very rarely were you shown interactions or stories rather just told them. Like the epilogue could've been so much better except the authors decided to do basically a recap that was just told from one pov solely in that sorta "inner voice" type thing and I did not like it.

Last thing im gonna rant about is spoilers so like

Overall would not recommend and was not good.

Sage and her bestie, Juniper, left home to spread their wings. They ended up in Salem, Massachusetts where they open a salon. Meeting Salem the president of the Fallen Ravens MC was not in Sage's plans, but once she meets him, she can't forget about him. Salem feels the same way, from the first time he saw Sage he couldn't get her out of his head, but his world is not the right place for Sage. So he does his best to push her away. But once he pushes her away, will he be able to live with out her?

This was a fantastic start to a new series! I loved everything about this, the fact that this is a bit darker than the previous stories from the writing duo just adds the cherry on top. We get everything we want in a great MC read; the drama, danger, violence, jealousy, mystery, the list goes on. I can't wait to see how the whole series plays out, and give this 5 stars.

As I started out this one I didn't like Salem at all! In fact I figured this one would end up on my dnf pile. What kept me reading was Sage and Juniper. These girls were so goofy, so excited for their new life, in their new town, you couldn't help but to smile at all their optimism. I also loved that they didn't listen to what others said, like about Sukie, they met her and made their own judgements, which was she was awesome too. So to say that I was leery about Sage and Salem together is not a little thing. What really won me over with Sage was his not so secret side job, because frankly, I had the same thoughts as Salem, there are people who deserve what he does. That and Salem was so smitten with Sage, he treated her life gold, right up until he pulled the classic move of "she is better off without me, look what already happened to her because of me." Such bullshit, as we learned later, when all of a sudden the nice boy, turned out to be a POS. I liked how this one ended, look forward to reading more in the series.

Salem is the first book in a new MC series by Sandy Alvarez and Chrystal Daniels. Fast paced with a dash of romantic suspense, it features an insta-attraction between Sage, the young, cute, and curvy new girl in town and Salem, the President of the Fallen Ravens MC. Salem is feisty and not one to take people’s BS and Salem soon starts dealing with being jealous and possessive for the first time in his life. Threats from another MC need to be dealt with as well as the looming threat of someone randomly targeting young girls. Quick, easy, and entertaining read. Looking forward to reading the next books in the series!

Salem is not a good man, he is a killer for higher with his MC and knows when he meets Sage he should stay away. She is everything light in the world while he is the dark. He can't stay away though and when she is in danger puts her safely by his side. Can he keep her safe or will his world end up crashing around him?

This was quite a bit different for these two authors. It was a bit grittier and I liked it, wanted to smack Salem but you got where he was coming from. Really enjoyed Sage, she was a perfect match for for Salem. Look forward to more in this series if this is any indication to how the series will go.

Stop what you are doing... Stop it right now and pay attention...
The amazing duo have a new book...
Can you guess who?
Of course that it's Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alvarez.
The magnificent sisters with a brilliant minds and the ability to create masterpieces.
If you're a fan just like me, you know what I'm talking about. If you don't, guys, grab just one book and see for yourself.
Trust me, you'll love it.
Their writing is raw and wild, intense, heartfelt, and hot...
Salem is their latest release and it's the first book from the Fallen Ravens MC series.
Oh boy... A brand new MC series...
This book explores the lives of Salem and Sage.
Ash aka Salem is the president of the Fallen Ravens MC.
He's not a saint, he's more a sinner but with a heart.
His goal is to rebuild the MC due to a battle in the past.
It's not an easy task being a killer for hire. But get this, he only kills the bad guys, the scumbags that hurt women and children.
He doesn't have time, nor wants to have a relationship but one look at Sage and...
Sage is new into town. Together with her best friend, they opened a new business and want to succeed.
She's focused on their business and doesn't need distractions.
Where she sees Salem...
I just knew it. I really did and knew it before reading this book.
Wanna know what?
I knew that I would love this book so freaking much and would be mad it ended.
Yeah, yeah.
These two rocks and this book was another masterpiece.
Stunning plot, well written, super engaging, and intense.
Each chapter was even more addictive than the latest and I couldn't stop reading it.
Guts, I've read this book in one night.
I started it around 10 pm and finished it around 5 am...
I was so into it that I didn't see the time flying.
It was that good.
This book gives us crime, punishment, drama, deception as well as love, loyalty, and hot stuff...
Hell yeah, those scenes were off-charts... So so good.
These two were perfect for each and you can see it right away.
Sage is not a damsel in distress, she's a fighter, stubborn as hell, and super determined.
And then you have Salem who's tough, hard around the edges but with his heart in the right place.
Overall, it was another great book and a fantastic start to a new series.
Can't wait to read more about the other brothers from this MC family.
Great book Crystal and Sandy, guys, you nailed it once again.
Can't wait for what's about to come...  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Sage and her best friend Juniper just moved to Salem, Massachusetts and has just opened their own hair salon. After their successful opening they decide to go out for drinks. What they didn’t expect was to end up at a strip club owned by the Fallen Raven MC. And this is where she meets Salem 😊 Instant attraction between them. But Sage isn’t looking for love, however she can’t deny the attraction she feels for Salem. But is this what she wants, to be involved with the president of an MC…

Salem is the president of the Fallen Ravens MC. His MC’s main income comes from hire for kill. He is sort of an angel of death and especially righting the wrongs that has been done. This is his life and trying to rebuild the club to what it was. He does not have time for a relationship but when he meets Sage, it seems that fate has other plans for him. But how will she fit into his world and how will he keep her safe when his past comes back with a vengeance…

I am a fan of this duo and their writing. I loved their previous MC stories and this one is just another one I can add to my favorite pile. Sage was sassy and feisty and independent. Salem was alpha, sexy and ruthless when it comes to what he wanted. The two together was awesome. Loved the storyline. Loved the drama, the suspense the romance. And so looking forward to next one in this series as we met a lot of side characters who’s stores I hope are coming soon 😊

So excited for this new series from Crystal and Sandy! Ash is the new president of the Fallen Ravens MC, and he’s trying to pick up the pieces and re-establish the MC after the battle that happened prior to the beginning of the book. The MC’s main source of income is acting as kill-for-hire vigilantes – for those who don’t get justice with the legal system when it’s clear that they are in the wrong. Sage as relocated to Salem with her best friend to start their business and explore a new town, and she isn’t looking for a relationship, much like Ash. But when they meet, they both can’t keep their eyes off each other, and initially Ash is downright rude to Sage, a ploy to keep her away. And as fate would have it, there’s always a reason they keep running into each other or seeing each other. Once they finally decide to give things a go, the MC’s past comes back to haunt them, and they have set their eyes on the one thing that can truly hurt Ash – Sage. This book had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning – and the surprise of the serial killer that shows up around the same time as Sage and her best friend is an added storyline that I couldn’t get enough of! I truly enjoyed this book, although I would’ve liked to have more backstory on the MC and the epic battle that happened before. I can’t wait to get to know these new MC boys!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

OK amazing loved this book so much I need more like stat , I'm such a huge fan of Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alvarez they are the perfect duo . Right from this first page I was drawn to every word I tried to go slow while reading but I just couldn't put my reader down no regrets who needs sleep when you have Salem and Sage . The authors Painted the perfect picture for the town lets just say I loooooved it and I hoping there will be more from a certain store owner and grumpy biker . Salem and Sage are perfect for one another I liked their intense chemistry they were written well my heart bled for them both . Sage is my ideal heroine curvy , comfy in her own skin , sweet , spicy , and just amazing heroine really enjoyed her relationship with her best friend I hope we get more from her as well . Now Salem you sexy beast he is a FINE hero with a smooth tongue I may have wanted to slap him a couple times and a swift kick in the no nos but by the end I was over the moon about him . The only thing I feel that needed more was the ending I felt like it was a bit rushed would have liked to see more but over all amazing story by genius authors , if you are new to these authors I highly recommend their books you won't regret it .

Oh I love this dynamic duo, and I'm so grateful they keep writing MC romance together to boot! I LOVED this story so much, and frankly, it didn't take me long to devour it to be honest. Sage is a girl who usually doesn't go out of her way to take a chance on new things until she & her bestie decided to move to a new place to finally get their own salon up & running, and it was the best thing for her. They decide to go to a club to celebrate their new business, and end up at the Fallen Raven's gentlemen's club & she finds she has an instant attraction to Salem, the MC President. He feels the same way himself, however he's doing his best to deny it but the best laid plans amirite?! They can't stay away from each other whatsoever, so it's not too long before they are together. Of course this is a MC romance so there's danger from outside forces that Sage will be caught in the crossfire of which has Salem making one of those ridiculous decisions (I wanted to throat punch him so badly) that men make which tends to trigger my temper LOL! I will say that Sage does make him grovel like I've not seen in other books which was actually my favorite thing, so to see if she will forgive him, you'll have to hit those one click buttons as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Salem, Salem, Salem be still my dark loving heart Salem! What delicious darker MC world Sandy and Crystal have blessed us with. This group of alphas are demanding, possessive, dark, dangerous even brutal yet very protective and respectful of their friends, family and town. 🖤🔥

Ash Crawford >Salem< is a killer for hire. An angel of death and president of Fallen Ravens MC. He and his MC Brotherhood Laredo, Harlem, Juneau, Mystic and Baja help him right the wrongs of the justice system. The story is set in Salem, Massachusetts which in itself has a dark past which gives this story an added sense of mystery. The Fallen Raven club compound is an old cemetery with the clubhouse in an old church that was built one hundred eighty three years ago. There's even a stray one eyed black cat named Nimbus that roams the property.
Sage and her best friend Juniper >Juju< moved from a small town in Nebraska to Salem,Massachusetts and are opening their dream hair salon called Dyed 2 Perfection.
After a successful opening they decided to go out dancing/drinking to celebrate but rely on an uber driver to recommend where to go. What they never expected was the place to be a strip club that turned out to owned by Fallen Ravens MC. After an incident there she meets Salem who drives them home. The is an undeniable pull between them but he pushes her away but for how long? What happens when his past crosses paths with hers and her life is in danger? There are unforeseen twist ,turns and danger lurking just under the surface as their relationship grows. He is very bossy but she gives him a run for his money with her sassy, spitfire attitude.
There is an amazing group of secondary characters that enriched and enhance the storyline.

I received a free ARC from the authors and I'm voluntarily leaving my review.

Where to begin with this review.
Salem is a the first book in a new series for this writing duo. Salem is rough around the edges, splashed with some grit, and utterly and completely filled with pure raw alphaness. He is the president of the MC and takes his roll very very seriously. This group of men is not one you would want to meet in a dark alley or get on there back side. Sage is a strong heroine who does not scare easily. She sees something with in Salem and knows that there is more to him than meets the eye. Their road is not paved with rainbows and unicorns, but with a rival MC attempting to make a comeback. While all this is going on feelings Salem has never experienced make an appearance and we get a good look at the possessive alpha he truly is.
I am looking forward to seeing just how these other mysterious men get their HEA's

I absolutely have no words! Just when I think their books can’t get any better, they do. I absolutely loved this book. I couldn’t put it down! I loved Salem/Ash and all his alpha-holeness. And you just want to be friends with Sage and her best friend Juniper. This book will keep you guessing right to the end with some of its mysteries. I can’t wait for more books in this series. Now, seriously when’s the next one and who is it??

A new MC series from Crystal and Sandy! This intro to the new club is amazing! Salem and Sage are a perfect blend of sweet and spicy! I love the relationship Sage has with her family and bestie, and that they are so secure in their opening their salon in a new city. Salem and Sage meet by happenstance but are drawn to one another...and their story has many ups and downs! Well worth the read!!

I love starting off a new series with these outstanding authors!! Salem is the Prez of the Fallen Ravens MC and has led a hard life before finding the MC. Sage is a ray of sunshine and her BFF, Jennifer just moved into town and opened a hair salon. They couldn’t be more opposite but they are perfect for each other. Just when things are getting hot and heavy between them a resurgence of a rival club put a halt to things. Sage has something happened to her that puts all of them on edge and gives Salem a wake up call, but can he pull his head out of his butt in time? Will he push Sage away for good? I can’t wait to dive into more of the series!!

UGH…Let me just start off by saying I am a massive fan of MC books - you’ve got possessive mc’s, a lot of action and most of the time illegal shit! It’s great…however I wanted to chuck this book across the room multiple times because of how lackluster these characters were. This storyline has so much potential and easily could have been an amazing read had the characters actually been likeable.

***SPOILERS***

Our main guy Salem is the President of the Fallen Ravens club and Sage has just moved to town with her bff Juniper.

They are first introduced to each other when Sage and Juniper go to the strip club that the MC club owns…they spot each other across the room and what does our leading guy do? Get his dick sucked by another women right in front of her!!! TALK ABOUT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT 😍 who wouldn’t want their potential love interest doing that?!

Outside of that douche bag move, Salem is just a cocky asshole the entire time and I REALLY thought I was going to like Sage and then she became a complete doormat. He ignores her after they sleep together for the first time, then makes a claim on her in public in such an inappropriate way it’s disgusting and what does she do? Drop her pants and sleep with him. If only her backbone was as stiff as his dick was while they were sleeping together, she might have been a more likeable character ✌🏼

Fast forward to her getting kidnapped by a rival MC club and Salems MC club saving her…he then dumps her immediately after they get back from said kidnapping, in front of all of the club members - as if getting dumped isn’t humiliating enough, let’s do it in front of everyone. Sage then finds out she is pregnant a few weeks later, goes to the clubhouse to tell him and what’s he doing? Getting his dick sucked by the same girl that was doing it at the beginning of the book! DONT WE JUST LOVE THAT?!

Well that’s partly a lie - he actually just set it up to make it look like he was hooking up with another women. Honestly like it’s 1000% worse that he set it up versus him actually hooking up with someone else because this just makes him a heartless human being instead of just a shitty person. Intentionally trying to hurt someone because your too much of a pussy to man up and work through your problems. And after all that she takes him back after what is probably the most bare minimum grovel known to man.

With all that being said, when I read an MC novel I expect a guy that is rough around the edges I really do but there was not a single redeeming quality about him. And I had high hopes for her - she was spunky at moments and would talk back and give it right back to him but then when it came to the important stuff she turned into the flattest doormat around 😑

Overall, if you could not tell by the information above, I was not happy with the book at all

Started off on a sour note for me. I don’t need to see him making eye contact and having a connection with her and then getting a bj in front of her eyes. 😖 And then this sort of is forgotten when she talks to him and I wanted to see her care more??

And then we get the usual alpha caveman qualities which I can appreciate in a book. But this one of the situations where he’s feral if she’s around
another man but she has to be around the club where he’s slept with a bunch of the women. He even says I’ve only been with you since I laid eyes on you… and I had to laugh considering at that exact moment he’s getting head from another woman. Plus there’s no mention of safe sex which feels irresponsible.

She’s also *instantly* ok he’s a killer. Like he goes after bad people but I think most would at least take a second to process it.

Also her dad who is apparently super protective pushes her toward this man who is a biker, owns a strip club, who he knows nothing about? That didn’t add up.

There are some heavy elements and action, but overall not my fave.

Ehhh

I agree with the one star review, didn't like the characters and don't like reading books where heroine is begging and a doormat. I love a good book where hero grovels and heroine makes him work for it especially when they do something dumb, stupid and realize it. plus description of her "curves" and then you read somone calling her fat puts a vision in my mind I can't get out. I know i need to lose some lbs. Just don't like to read about it and then you read how awsome she looks. Sorry just my opinion idk maybe im being too critical. Then we have a hero who is an a$$ nothing more to say about that. I love these authors, one of my top favorites and this one is disappointing. Don't know if I can finish it. So bummed out. 😞

Ash (or Salem, his road name) the MC president is 40yo and has never settled down. Sage is 25yo and just moved to Salem when Ash sees her. And thus begins a pretty heated relationship, surprising Ash. I liked them both. And I liked how their relationship story turns out.

This was an MC romance so there’s danger and lots of gray area. For example Ash and his club do murder for hire, but supposedly only people who hurt others (murderers, rapists who aren’t being punished). They also own a strip club, a tattoo parlor, and a marijuana farm, and are expanding to sell their weed in a store too.
But here’s where there was a problem, there’s only like 5 of them (MC brothers) in this book. No other brothers and no prospects, so how the hell do they keep all their businesses running and protect their clubhouse…? I have no idea but whatever, I guess.

The story also has a rival club who already killed some of their members, and a serial killer to provide more danger to the book. Hence why I found it odd they didn’t seem to have any protections at their clubhouse.

Ash, upon first meeting Sage’s parents, and only after two interactions (the first at his strip club which was him warning her away, and the second being when he intervened when Sage confronted a teenager who was vandalizing property then Ash made her come on his fingers🙄) gets her dad’s approval. Sage knows nothing about him, but her parents were like ‘ok green light.’ Not only that but dad was like, go have sex with the older biker, no judgment. It’s great that they’re super accepting, but seems so unbelievable from a dad who calls her everyday, but again whatever.

I also didn’t love the ending where Aya comes to the salon run by Sage and Sage doesn’t remember her. And conveniently, even though it’s been months and months since her first appearance when she sought help from the MC for a hit, the news is showing something that wraps things up for Aya too. It was just way too convenient to have it end that way at that exact time. Everything in this book actually wraps up far too nicely (which is both good and also unrealistic, so it makes me feel like taking away half a star or more at least).

A few typos, but not too bad. And early on when Ash is remembering his past, the writing of it was a tad awkward sounding. Like the way the thoughts were processed certainly didn’t sound like a MC president, or badass alpha.

Otherwise it’s a super easy to read (aside from some of those torture scenes) MC romance with an in-the-gray alpha male pursuing a younger, sassy woman. The other characters provide good stories too and I can see how it’ll shape into future books. I liked both MCs and I liked the side characters.
