FRUT of Her Loins: Extreme Horror

Rate this book
FRUT: (urban dictionary); frequently recycled used trash: used damaged goods, trash, person/ object/ or action, a rubbish person in behavior and habit.

An online identity, simply know as Frut/of/Her/Loins, makes a living by selling fruit (or other food) that has been inserted into her vagina for one full day. Needless to say, her website business is more profitable than one would imagine.

A grieving housewife finds out that her husband has been a customer of Frut/of/Her/Loins. She gathers a group of angry wives and hunts down the woman behind the acts that they consider vile.

This a very violent book.
You have been warned.

Anyone for a fruit plate?!!

Well that was a lot of fun, in the gory, violent sense of the word. Sea never fails to give the reader a story which makes you squeeze your thighs together throughout, while your eyes are wide open, unblinking, reading, some quite eye watering stuff. This is a revenge story involving 3 wives who go to extreme lengths to get the creator/star of a fetish website to remove it. That’s all I’m saying as I don’t want to spoil it for y’all. This is another highly recommended novella from the queen of extreme, SC!

Pretty great story from Sea Caummisar that was bloody brutal in every way possible, full of over-the-top brutality and twists. The only reason this wasn't 5-star was because I had an inkling of what the ending was going to be from the get-go but it was fun getting there. I do love this woman's work. I'd very much recommend it for the extreme horror fan.

A woman named frut of her loins has a online live video of her sticking fruits and vegetables up her vagina and letting them sit in there for days to soak up her juices and then auctions them to men on the internet. A lady’s who husband had passed away a few months back finds out that he used to pay for her forbidden fruits, so she wants to ruin this woman’s life. She finds a group forum that wants to stop frut of the loins and decides to join like minded people like her. On the end things turn out not planned the way they expected. I really enjoyed this book a lot, only thing is I definitely guessed how it would end, I was spot on. Nonetheless, was an awesome read.

Twisted

I love this author Sea Caummisar, she is amazing at what she does and I love how every story I've read of hers (which is alot!) has been exciting, sick, twisted and disturbing. The way she brings these unusual sexual fantasies into story from is amazing. The characters are amazing too, just as they were in this read. I loved the three women and how each of them although differing in opinions and personalities still worked together as characters. Loved the twist at the end, though knowing this author I sort of guessed it. But you never know with this author if there is another twist after. Every read tends to be a surprise. Enjoyed how Cate got creative and was like a child clapping her hands laughing with excitement at the new things they tried, bringing more blood and gore to the forefront of the story. A great read for those of us that enjoy that extreme horror, so if you do i definitely recommend.

This was a seriously disturbing read and I loved it lol!! Sea Caummisar does not shy away from taking the violence, not only to the next level but all the way to the top! When three wives find out their husbands were buying fruit (that just happened to be in a vagina for 24 hours) from the woman running the website frut/of/her/loins they seek revenge for her ruining their marriage. The hate these woman feel runs deep, and the torture they want to inflict on frut feels justified to them. A couple little twists at the end makes it all the worse (though I did see one coming). Overall, an awesome and original splatterpunk horror! 4/5 skulls 💀

This was a short extreme horror book that literally made me squirm at times. A woman sells fruit that she stores inside of her for 24 hours. A group of women find out that their husbands were customers and decide to do something about it. I definitely don’t recommend if you aren’t a fan of extreme horror or have a weak stomach. If you’re a fan of extreme horror, then i definitely recommend reading it.

If you enjoy torturous Horror, this one is for you! Idk if it was for me as I felt the cruelty was unjust, but it was well written and the visuals were explicitly detailed. I kept trying to guess the end, but I wasn't able to call it. A terrifying story about lust and revenge, it is even a bit educational as I have come to realize that there is a market for everything.

A lady auctions off fruit she puts in her prison purse and sends them express postage on ice but not to Australia haha. She makes a fortune from perverted sick fucks who want to taste and eat the fruit. Three wives come together to track down the fruit vendor and after an accident go too far with a hot iron taking off skin like sticky chewing gum to a surface. The torture is brutal.

As gross and as brutal as this book was - I actually quite liked it 🙈
I have always liked films that shock me, and since discovering this genre of book, reading is no different!
I guessed the twist very early on, cringed a lot - especially once again at the eyeball scene, but yeah, I liked it, although if you are easily disgusted I honestly wouldn't read it 🤣

meh it was ok . I enjoyed it still , it was quick but maybe it was to quick for me .I like a little bit more story rather than a quick kidnap, quick torture then it's done. character development wasn't there and I knew the twist at the end very early on so it was really predictable.

It is horror. It is extreme.

The concept is interesting and the violent scenes are *extremely* well written.

My first splatterpunk, and - I think - my last lol

A good gripping story...but I wouldn't say it was extreme, Yes...the torture of the woman was pretty gross and the twist at the end was unexpected. I've read better. Sea Caummisar is a great author and I would most definitely read more of her work and recommend her books to others. But please don't expect too much from this short story.

I’m sorry I just could not get into this due to poor writing and just poor character development. It was a disturbing horror read and so strange but not in a good way. This was written purely for shock value but did not land in my opinion.

It was fine. Some spelling mistakes and an entire section where the author clearly kept mixing up which character they were talking about. “Twist” ending was predictable from the park scene.

Frut/of/Her/Loins is a company and/or the name of the proprietor of said company. An internet site seizing a gap in the market and using late stage capitalism to it's advantage, the woman who came up with the idea figured out what is missing from sex on the internet. Sure, porn is everywhere for free. But it's so impersonal. You can see and hear people, but it's just...the same shit that has existed since the motion picture camera was invented. Frut/of/Her/Loins (called Frut hereafter) knows that she needs to provide visual/auditory stimulation, but she goes to the next level. Touch? Smell? Taste?

Yep. She'll provide a, ahem, show to her subscribers daily - pulling out yesterday's meal and inserting todays. Yes, as the blurb states, fruit goes in, 24hrs later fruit comes out. Then one lucky guy gets to pay for it in an auction and the next day he gets said piece of fruit in an overnighted package with dry ice to ...um... savor. I guess.

Elsewhere, a widow, after spending months grieving, finds evidence that her dearly departed husband had been a prior "winner" who enjoyed the fruits of Frut's labor. The idea that he would have done this to her has now spoiled her whole memory of him. As the internet does, one person with an opinion is bound to find others if they search hard enough and indeed, there are other women who are just as pissed at Frut for how she tempted the men in their lives with her forbidden fruits.

Venting turns to vengeance and after one of the ladies finds Frut though a reverse image search, the ladies plan to confront her. Maybe if we scare her, she'll stop and future men won't be drawn to her and will have better taste. Naturally, things don't go quite as planned.

Look, a book this short is tough to review. You basically can figure out exactly what's going to happen from the summary on the back cover. There isn't room for characterization or development. You're getting what you get. So, do you want a women attacking a woman over porn? You got it. Is it gross? Yep. Is it mean-spirited at times? Sorta. Is it darkly humorous? Yep. Is there a twist that you'll see coming long before you read it? Oh yeah.

So, we're not talking high art here. But if you've got 45 minutes and want a quick dose of gross, this will do just fine.

“Frut” has a very successful—and highly unusual—online business.

Due to the lucrative nature of her endeavor, she’s managed a quite comfortable lifestyle. She can indulge in her whims, such as designer outfits and handbags.

Besides her…fruit offerings…she does web shows as well. And she has quite the following.

Cate, meanwhile, is furious. Married to John for 20 years, she gave up a lot to support him in his medical career. We meet Cate while she is speaking to John’s ashes; he’s now been dead for three months.

After John’s untimely passing, Cate does some cleaning. Imagine her surprise when she finds a, ahem, special package from Frut/of/Her/Loins.

Through internet sleuthing, Cate discovers that she’s not the only woman offended by Frut. There are others who blame the train wrecks their lives have become on the provocative online sensation.

Cate organizes a meeting with two of the most aggrieved ladies, Angie and Lucy, in New York City. Cate has determined that this is where Frut lives as well.

A very cautionary tale on what happens when you “blame the other woman” solely, and absolve the man of any wrongdoing.

Extremely brutal. What got me through this is the author’s thinly-veiled disapproval of Cate and her actions.

The ending is…bittersweet.

Frut of Her Loins is another collection of horror stories written by Sea Caummisar. This novella is sure to give fans of this genre a thrill as they breeze through this fun read.

Cate makes the discovery that her late husband has been keeping a secret from her. She finds a written note from a business called 'Frut/of/Her/Loins' and her husband is a customer. Cate is livid when she learns that the woman operating this business is making videos to sell her fruit and seductively teasing men into bidding for them. After all the research Cate has done, she joins a forum full of women that want to put a stop to this gross home-wrecker. Cate and two other members from the group are on the lookout for 'Frut/of/Her/Loins' to plan their vengeful attack.

There is extreme violence which is over and done with quickly. This short story could have been made longer with more details about the lives of the characters for added reader enjoyment. A well written book that is easy to read and a good one for those that are after a quick adrenaline rush. It is a change of scenery with seemingly everyday women partaking in violent acts.

3.5, rounded up to 4. I actually hated this book. That's not to say it wasn't incredibly well written and had a unique plot, I just hated it. The whole thing made me angry. I am not a squeamish or easily offended person, so the horror and gore wasn't a problem. My issue with this book was the "blame the other woman" mentality. I can't stand the whole "she's a home wrecker" ideology. Stop absolving the man, in the committed relationship, of all wrong doing. Stop making it the other woman's problem that your husband can't keep it in his pants. I know that grief can make people do some crazy things, but this is on another level. I even shed a few tears while reading this. With that being said, this was a very fast paced, intriguing read that I could legitimately see taking place given the right circumstances. I don't think this book was bad, by any means, but I did hate it. I'm not sure how else to describe my feelings towards this book. It was good, but incredibly infuriating.

This novella was easy to read and well constructed. Unlike a lot of extreme horror authors, Caummisar actually has finesse when handling a story, even if I didn't find this one particularly cathartic.

The story follows a group of women as they plot revenge against a sex worker with a unique gig: she stores fruit inside her body and sells it online to men who eat it. The meat of the story mostly describes the young woman's torture and death, with the twist ending telegraphed well ahead of time.

The twist has the effect of making the whole thing meaningless, a bit of brutal nihilism in the vein of Let's Go Play at the Adams, but without the weight or poignancy. I think Caummisar could really catapult her writing into another level by expanding theme and depth in her work.

I listened to this book on Audible because I'm impatient but want a physical copy for my collection. Sea Caummisar does not disappoint when it comes to a dark mind. She is extreme with her stories, and Frut of Her Loins is no different. This story follows women who have been betrayed by their spouses. They seek out the Frut that has tempted their spouses and wreak havoc upon her. It is a short story, and I figured the plot twist early on. If you listen to the story on Audible, be prepared for dullness. The narrator sounded bored the entire time, as if they did not want to read the story.

Sickening and fun

The last few chapters of part 4 had my stomach turning, with a hand over my mouth.
As a fan of all things gory and macabre and as a woman with a vagina, I have thought about the act thoroughly described in part 4 a few times. It has to be painful and gross and just downright destructive. But man, reading about it- line after brutal line, in horrifying detail? Made me sick.
Which I totally appreciate.
5/5 ⭐️ for an all-lady cast of characters, a fun read, and the visceral response the pages gave me.

*I'm not going to give you the 'what this book is about' blurb - you can read that elsewhere.

1. This was my first work by Sea Caummisar, and I loved it enough to buy 2 full collections of hers.
2. FRUT had a bit of everything: sexual kinks, torture, gore, friendship (maybe not a friendship I'd want, but friendship nonetheless). What more could you ask for in a 68-page novella?!
3. God, I love a revenge story, and this 100% delivered, or did it? 😳🙃

At just under 70 pages, this was a super quick read. This was everything you expect from this talented author, and more. A tale of an online entrepreneur who makes money by selling fruit to the highest bidder, that she has inserted inside of herself for 24 hours. In the background, are a group of angry partners who intend to teach the young woman a lesson, in the most brutal ways possible. Sick, depraved and twisted. I really enjoyed it, but then I have a very strong stomach!
