---Kylara Diamantine has never met another dragon. Raised by her mother apart from the rest of their society without any idea why, she's always been curious about the rest of their species. She wants to get out there, to meet other dragons, to explore! To stretch her wings. Literally.
Be careful what you wish for, they say. They're right.
After a devastating magical attack on their home leaves Ky's mother missing, she's placed at a special school for her protection. A school for dragons - but this year, for the first time, mages will be attending alongside their scaley fellow students to learn more about magic and draconic powers.
The attacker who stole away Kylara's mother isn't finished yet and turns up the heat on the school. Ky's dragon powers keep growing in mysterious ways, but will even that be enough to save her?
Ky is a stranger in a place she doesn't know, under attack and desperate to find her missing mother. She'll need all her courage and strength to survive the tests ahead of her.

I loved this collection. The engaging story has so many facets that I could not guess where it was going next--a very good thing. This brilliant omnibus avoided the pitfalls of book series. The writing is delightful and only rarely annoyed me with too-simple reactions. It was always fresh and entertaining.
I am going to read Steel Dragon now. With that said I am literally sad the last page turned. My reading becomes me. This book series took me on a much needed escape. The young lady was an excellent hero. I loved that she was a thinker, and take action kind of girl. The battles were epic. Truly loved all the characters, the school professors, the human characters, the pixies, even the villains.
The characters were well woven together, the story line very intricate, so much, I could not put my kindle down. The story moved through so many dimensions, with a spectacular finish. I shall read this again later, to ensure I did not miss something.
Sjees only once in the entire omnibus did I see the plural of cactus written correctly. Tbh, I don’t care if you write cacti or cactuses, but the plural of cactus is NOT cactus! It simply isn’t. Even a non native English speaker like me knows this. I had to say it because it really irritates me. I used the report function. I hope for those reading this book after me it has been adjusted together with all the other mistakes I found.
While that takes away from the fun of reading, the story itself was amazing. It felt like the perfect extension to the steel dragon books. I really do suggest you go read those first, because I originally came onto these series through the claw sword series and while I only read the first 3 or 4 chapters before I stopped and then moved to steel dragon, I got spoiled big time about what happens in both series without knowing why those things happened.
While technically these can be read as stand alone, I really wouldn’t it makes you look at certain characters differently if you don’t know their background from the books that came before.

Entertaining enough to want to read the whole story, I would have given a higher rating except for one major flaw in the writing. That being a consistent use in the same sentence of she, her, she, her and meaning 2 or more people thereby confusing the reader as to which she or her was being described. Occurs on probably every other page toward the end. Otherwise a reasonably good read.
Folks, you can’t go wrong here. I picked this up not realizing that it was a sequel series to one that I had originally refused to read. I made it through the first book and catch immediately go back and read what I had missed. Still, if you pick this one up don’t worry, it’s a great standalone, epic, phenomenal read. I think that about sums it up so just stop reading my review start reading the book and ENJOY!
This series is a great read for those of us whom enjoy this genre. It is an adventure of life that makes you look more into the way of life. I highly recommend you take the time to read this series and immerse yourself into the characters. Great story and characters of the world.
Okay, this is a young adult style dragons and magic fantasy. This means no graphic sex. There is some falling in love, so it is interesting event without sex. And the battles are interesting -- a lot of new combinations of magical fighting. The series keeps one's interest all the way through. Highly recommended.
Great read and full of adventure. The new characters are believable. There is a Dragon/Mage school, trying to bring them together and show respect for each. Magic and love abounds in this story. Enjoy another great dragon series.
I thoroughly enjoyed this Series about the Dragon’s Daughter. Kylara is the daughter and throughout the 6 books she grew from a young girl into a dragon, mage and pixie. I recommend this series to any young readers or adults that like a good clean story!
Exellent!! The books were very engaging and action packed. The characters were realistic and explored teenage life classism discovering and controlling powers, and bods between different characters and to name a few 😄A
Wow! Nice! Thanks for sharing your world with us… I for one enjoyed it, but, my grand daughter who I read this to, LOVED IT! I saw her cry, smile, blush, get enraged, feel bravery, cry, and blush again many times… Thank you Jeff Howell
The books in the series kept my interest during the whole time I was reading them. The twists and turns in the storyline, along with the various characters, are enjoyable and made me stay connected to the storyline.
It was a really dumb series. The protagonist didn't learn any lessons from her past experiences. I couldn't finish it. I quit 1/4 th of the way through the last book
Great adventure. Had to keep reminding myself that they are kids because the lead kept irritating me with repeating the same mistakes 😒 but overall, I had a great adventure
