As There are a few simple lessons Chase learned early on in life.
Don’t abandon your kids.
Don’t call your kids stupid.
Work hard.
Take chances.
Chase was left to raise himself at an early age. Being alone at such a crucial time in his life made him a hard man. He’s bossy and rough around the edges. He’s the alpha male, who leads Mercy and Luke through the ups and downs of being a threesome. Beneath the hard exterior, he has a soft spot for those he loves.
He’s a complicated man.
Some unintentional news has the trio celebrating a new chapter in their lives. Excitement and change is all around them.
So, when the father who walked out of his life all those years ago, unexpectedly pulls into his driveway one beautiful morning, Chase is less than excepting. In fact, he wants no part of him at all. No matter how hard his father tries, his very existence only annoys Chase more. He got along fine without him, so he doesn’t need him now. He’s convinced there’s no place for the man who fathered him in his life. As it turns out, all little boys need their fathers sooner or later. Life forces Chase to let down his walls and trust a man who has done nothing to earn it. He gives forgiveness a little a time. One fateful day their new relationship is put to the test when everything Chase holds dear hangs in the balance. Will he finally earn the title of dad, or will he let Chase down once again?

She saved the best for last!

This series touched my heart from the first book to the last! I'm not sure I've ever read a series with more raw emotions shown. Beyond Enough was my favorite book in the series. Chase has always seemed to stand in the shadows and quietly do what needed to be done to make his family happy. He was the strong one. This book let him be vulnerable and I loved seeing that side even more. He made me cry and want to hold him tight. I'm so glad he has a family that could do that for him. Summer Layne did not disappoint. She closed this series in the most perfect way.

As the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end." Beyond Enough is the end of The Beyond Series. Chase had been holding out a huge secret from us (the readers) in the previous stories; Beyond Mercy and Beyond A Prayer. But we're given answers to questions we didn't know we had. This may be the end, but there's a beginning, as well. And I stand in applause for Amelia! She nailed one of my favorite songs.
I appreciated how the beginning picked up from where we left off with Luke and his dream in Beyond A Prayer. How it was a family effort to make it come together. I liked the strengths of each to make up the dynamics that made Mercy, Luke and Chase work. I'm thankful for the insight to dealing with Autism, something I personally have not experienced.
Don't cheat yourself by starting at the end. This series must be experienced from the beginning. There's a whale of hurt, love, forgiveness, and learning between the pages.

Chase’s story is complete.

Summer Layne has shared Chase’s story in this third book of the Beyond Series.

I loved learning about Chase’s beginning, his strength, his struggles and his desire for family. Even though Chase is the one who keeps the order in the family, it’s Mercy and Luke’s turn to be the strength this time. And Amelia keeps him grounded as well as shines with her guidance for family issues.

Chase’s story is the perfect final piece of the puzzle. 🧩

Beyond!

What a wonderful ending to a great trilogy! The Chemistry is palatable thru this entire series. These characters are relatable and Summer has brought them to life with her words. The struggles Chase has encountered come full circle in this final installment. Get the tissues out because this one will pull at your heart strings. Sexy! Emotional! Heartwarming all of these at the same time. A must read! 🔥😉
