Mahabharat is something that we have grown up reading and even though there is so much literature pertaining to it, there’s still not a single way we can define it.

Each and every character has their own version of the story, they come with their own perspective and reading from their point of view makes us realize, each one of us has a journey to witness.

And more often than not, there are many of us who might be tempted to fantasize about how they could go or visit this era and get to know the insights of Mahabharat firsthand.

In ‘Krishna Prophecy: The Rise of Mahendrasura’ by author Dinesh Veera, the protagonist of our story, Abhay Sharma, finds himself transported to thousands of years back in time when he touches golden flames.

The story then takes us to Hastinapur and the readers are caught up to speed about what has been happening and gives us a brief understanding about the surroundings.

Abhay befriends Karna when he finds himself caught up in this world and he, alongwith his friend, sets up on a quest to end the regime of evil Mahendrasura.

The journey that they have embarked upon is not an easy task and there are so many hurdles and roadblocks that they have to encounter before they come to their endgame.

Now will the demon or Rakshas, as its called, be defeated or will the evil prevail over the good, was Abhay the chosen one, will he be able to come back to the present or will he stay trapped in the past and so many more questions are answered in this wonderfully written story. Hence I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"Krishna's Prophecy: The Rise of Mahendrasura" by Dinesh Veera is a captivating tale that takes readers on an exciting journey through time, bringing them face to face with ancient Indian mythology.

The story follows Abhay Sharma, a college student who is transported five thousand years back in time to the ancient city of Hastinapur. As he arrives, he finds himself caught up in a web of political struggles between the Pandavas and Kauravas, who are on the verge of war. However, the greatest threat to humanity comes in the form of Mahendrasura, a demonic Asura King, who is fueled by revenge and seeking the power to eradicate all of humanity.

Abhay finds himself in the middle of all these conflicts, and with the help of Krishna and Suryaputra Karna, he must unlock ancient puzzles, face mythical beasts, and confront his terrifying destiny to save the past, present, and future of mankind.

This story starts with two professors digging in an ancient site for their research. They find the name Mahendrasura on a door of that place, but it doesn't ring a bell. Suddenly, one of the professors Abhay Sharma, who is also our protagonist, finds a golden water source, and touches it, and suddenly gets transported into the era of Mahabharata.

Going back 6000 years, Abhay has to challenge himself beyound his wildest dreams to live in the times of Karna, Arjun and Shri Krishna. It doesn't seem likely that he can return to his time, since nothing is as it was, and nothing was as it seems.

The story was definitely creative, and nice to read. To think of the possibility of a chance to meet those great warriors and fight alongside them, was quite interesting. The world building was superbly done as well. However, I wish the character building and the conversational details were a little bit more intricate. I mean, pausing an ongoing war to chat and 'you evil human' type of battle cry seemed a little bit odd. But overall, it was an interesting read and if you are a mythological creature in your daydream, you may read this one..

If you love Indian mythology and science fiction this book is for you. This story is about Abhay, a chemical engineering student who has trapped into the Mahabharata era, who was born to kill the powerful immortal Asura King Mahendrasura. We can see Angaraja Karna, pandavas, Sree krishna and other characters of Mahabharata. With their combined effect they managed to kill the Asura.
The author has beautifully written the story. Even a small child can read and enjoy it. The language is lucid and the story is really entertaining. There are some sanskrit words mentioned in the story. The story is really interesting, The author had given equal importance to the character Jeevika, which impressed me a lot. While reading this story I had a feeling of living in the Mahabharata era. Really enjoyed this book😍

WORTH YOUR TIME

I have recently found my eagerness to delve deeper into Indian mythology and Dinesh Veera has been my abode for a while now and here he is with yet another story titled, “Krishna Prophecy: The Rise of Mahendrasura.” This mythological fiction is one of its types and explores the routes of mythology in the most vivid possible ways. The story is based on a college boy Abhay, who finds himself bewildered when he is swooped back into the time of Mahabharata and learns that he has now the responsibility of saving himself and all of humankind from Mahendrasura and his dark powers. The ever-fictional mythology, Mahabharata, is happening in front of his eyes and his senses know no hold. Will Abhay be able to do the right thing? What would you do, were you in his place? Read and discover what happens in the story.

Reading this book is a hell of a ride but never tiring. The story will captivate all your senses and the writing style will not bother you. Easy to read and fun to learn this book makes a great combination for a beginner. I read it in one day as I wanted to know all of it just now. I never sat still while reading it and can tell that anyone who is reading it with interest will have to bounce up and get tensed now and then. It indeed explores some deep chapters of Indian mythology which have stayed hidden from common discussions. It is a lovely read. It is 380 pages long and is written in a pacing manner. It will never bore a reader.

It is recommended to all mythology lovers. This book will satiate you for a while and urge you to yourself find out more about this story. Happy reading!

Krishna Prophecy is a thought-provoking, highly engaging and superbly crafted novel. I have always been in awe of fictions which are developed by authors in combination with careful and diligent research. Krishna Prophecy is one such book penned by author Dinesh Veera wherein he gives a wholesome reading experience to his readers.

We have heard and read a lot about various demons fought by Krishna in his lifetime in the Indian mythological fiction and non-fiction versions. However, the story of Mahendrasura is not very popular and that's the reason the plot of this book has become so unique. The fantastical theory of time travel juxtaposed with in-depth research of mythological epics and Indian cultural history makes the Krishna Prophecy a highly intriguing read.

It's the first time in this book we come across Krishna's prophesies of a future which makes for our present era. The journey of our protagonist, an ordinary modern man, Abhay of the 21st century, travelling to the Mahabharatha era and witnessing his own extra ordinary transformation will certainly enthrall the readers until the very last page of this book.

Kudos to author Dinesh Veera for creating such a unique and amazing storyline and his in-depth knowledge of Indian mythology is highly commendable.

The writing style of the author is lucid and descriptive, the way he has painted events of celestial weapons, ancient India and the philosophical values of our culture is so vivid that it makes you feel as if you are witnessing everything of it.

For me, Krishna prophecy has been a captivating read and I would recommend this as a must read for historical/ mythology fiction lovers!

The characters described are graceful in portrait, followed with the attractive and powerful cover of the book

Plot goes like; Abhay Sharma is a 23-year-old chemical engineering student who has a great interest in ancient Indian kingdoms. With his professor Jayapal, he is in the cave near the Jata Shankar temple which is located at panchamari, Madhya Pradesh. In the cave, 'mahendrasura' is scribbled. Abhay and the professor never heard this name before in any Hindu ancient script. As they go ahead into the cave, there were a gold Trishul from which gold radiating lights are coming. As Abhay touches, he transported to the Mahabharata era around 5000 years ago. And he is trapped in the flow of destiny.
That time when he was transported, mahendersura was trying to enhance his power by "Rudra Kriya". Mahendrasura was a king of the aura regime who resides near the Jata Shankar cave. And his only motive was to defeat Krishna.
On the other side, Angaraja is on his way to reach the jata Shankara cave, Karna met Abhay. Abhay started his journey with Karana so that he can come back. But he needed to cross some obstacles because ancient India is different from modern India. Abhay always thought Mahabharata was just a story. But now he is in a war along with Karna and Krishna.
It was page turner. The language was lucid. The writing style is attractive. I liked the interesting narration about climax battles. There were different Asuras having different abilities and skills. I liked bravery of Abhay and Jeevika. Karna and Arjuna's Divya Astras were amazing. Overall, this is totally enjoyable and wonderful. Definitely recommended! Loved reading the book!

The Classic retelling of the Mahabharata is woven with a modern twist. Abhay is somehow teleported into the ancient era of Mahabharata while doing some research. There he encounters Karna and began on the most epic journey of his lifetime. Unaware of his mission and whereabouts Abhay goes head against toes defeating the Asuras.

The Storyline begins after the end of the Mahabharata but still Duryodhana is not content & satisfied. He still believes there is something more to achieve rather than winning the war. There he was told about the Mahendrasura who is keen on conquering the human kingdom and establish his reins. He was about the perform the Rudra Kripa to attain mortality which needs to be stopped in order to defeat him.

On the other hand Shri Krishna along with Bhima & Arjuna began on a quest to fulfill his prophecy to defeat the Asura. All of them disguised as Vasudeva & disciples, they meet Karna Abhay & Jeevika.

What began as a classic journey to the epic battle against the Devas and Asuras fighting against various obstacles and mysterious monsters, Abhay still doesn't believe that this could be even true.

When Shri Krishna confronts Abhay that he is the chosen one from the future to defeat Mahendrasura, he couldn't believe any of it and without any powers he was dragged into the defeating him.

How was Abhay transported into the ancient era? What was his purpose of meeting Karna? What will his role in store for him to fulfill the prophecy as laid down by Shri Krishna? Do read this book to find out more.

It is a legendary fictitious novel based on the Mahabharata with a Ramayana plot. Abhay, a 23-year-old engineering student, was a dedicated scholar of the ancient Indian empire. During his investigation, he visits a location and comes into contact with a golden flame. The plot revolves around a modern-day college student who is mistakenly transported 5000 years back in time to the Mahabharata era. Because Abhay is imprisoned in a hard predicament, the plot centres on how he may return to his present time. Along with the action, there is an intriguing plotline about the development of a great Asura King who seeks to destroy humanity. When Abhay meets Suryaputra Karna and Krishna, the narrative begins and you will love the journey. It's an emotional roller coaster as well as a thrilling journey. The plot alternates between Hastinapur, where Duryodhana sought the "Rudra Amritha" (Diving nectar of Lord Shiva), Kashipura, where a tribal clan resides, and the Mahendrasura Kingdom, where the Mahendrasuras resided (Boranath hills). While Karna advances for Rudra Amrutha at Dhuriyodhana's request, Krishna orders Arjuna and Bhima to fight Mahendrasura, who was conducting Rudra Kriya to earn the strength to conquer mankind. The Mahabharata heroes get together to battle the Asura. One of the finest Indian mythological novels in Indian history!

And what if you become a part of your favourite book or the one you don't like?

Abhay Sharma, a student in modern contemporary setup with liberal and practical mindset just like the majority has his speculations on the authenticity on Indian mythology which are considered as epics rather than history.

So what took him to believe in the not so fictional world of the holy book of Mahabharata. While researching in an ancient temple he unravels the path to going back in time and live amidst the vhaos of the real war of the Pandavs and Kauravas.

He went back to the era and witnesses the struggles, survival and the reality himself.

What he do in order to help and change the war himself. With the help of Krishna and Suryaputra Karna will he be able to fight Asura King, Mahendrasura who wants to put a. end to the humanity.

Read this book to experience the
city of hastinapur and the legendary Mahabharata with a new point of view.

The book cover is absolutely beautiful and catchy. The author has wrotten the book very well in a way that every reader has a clear picture of what is going on without getting confused. The lucid writing style adds up to all of it too.

The pace, characters and plot is pumped up well and as a reader you'll be excited to read what's next.

A perfect read for mythology

KRISHNA PROPHECY by Dinesh Veera

It is mythology with a touch of sci-fiction—a fictional book based on Mahabharata with a storyline from Ramayana.

Abhay a 23-year-old engineering student was a passionate researcher of the ancient Indian kingdom.  In his research, he visits a place and touches a golden flame.  He gets transported to the ancient Gandhara period.  He lives their life and meets Krishna, Arjuna, Karna, and Bhima.  He becomes part of the war in which they destroy the Asura (demon) kingdom.

The story nicely swings between Hastinapur- Where Duryodhana wanted to get the “Rudra Amritha” (Diving nectar of Lord Shiva), Kashipura – the tribal group lives, and the Mahendrasura Kingdom- (Boranath hills).

While Karna moves for Rudra Amrutha at the request of Dhuriyodhana, Krishna asks Arjuna and Bhima to go for a war against Mahendrasura who was performing Rudra Kriya to gain the power to conquer mankind.

The heroes of Mahabharata unite together to defeat the Asura.

My favorite quotes:

“Everything will be fine. Just go with the flow”

“Nothing forms everything and everything will turn into nothing one day”

The story moves fast.  Just a few points I could not accept.

If you are a fan of mythological stories this one is for you.

The Krishna Prophecy is the saga of Abhay, who by the turn of events finds himself hauled back in not a hundred or two but FIVE THOUSAND YEARS. Abhay is now in the time of the Mahabharata. And Abhay is now shouldered with the greatest responsibility of saving the present and hence the future.

Abhay also interacts with Lord Krishna and the Surya Putra, which was new to read. It was exquisite to read their conversations.

Dinesha Veera has a fascinating writing style. The story came to action through his words, every incident was narrated with a crisp.

The book is not just about Abhaya's travel to the past but it also has the story of evil king Mahendrasura, who intends to destroy mankind.

Moreover, you are also acquainted with all the main characters before the story starts so everyone who is not even familiar with the Mahabharata characters can read and enjoy the book.

The story is vastly gripping and the plot itself is very delightful. I recommend it to all the mythology fans out there, it's one of the best mythological fiction that I have come across.

And lastly, I feel like I need to read more books written by Dinesh Veera, this book has had me. And I expect so much from Dinesh Veera now.

Diversity is at the heart of Indian culture, and this diversity allows us to explore various stories of mythology and folklore. Mythology is gaining special attention among readers and writers because it is filled with moral tales, beautiful traditions, and culturally rich characterization of time and place.

Through his book“Krishna Prophecy: The rise of Mahendrasura” “Dinesh Veera” transports the readers to Hastinapur, a city where a significant war of vengeance, power, and throne took place. Over time, the time and places changed; however, the reasons for war are the same. And with these reasons, Dinesh Veera brilliantly brings another story from the same place with the same characters but with the intertwining of two different eras.

The book follows the story of a 23 years old student Abhay who is interested in the ancient Indian kingdom. With his research, he found himself transported five thousand years back in the era of Mahabharata. He interacted with Lord Krishna, Arjun, and Karna and became part of a great scheme to save the present and future.

I loved the book, especially the crisp plot and simple writing. This is a fantastic story that mythology and historical fiction lovers will devour with relish.

Krishna Prophecy

Mythology itself is magical and in this author has added his amazing fantasy imagination.

The book is about Abhay a chemical engineering student who have a great interest in learning about Indian history was researching on an ancient cave with his professor. Abhay was accidentally transferred back to the time of Mahabharata. And there started the main story and an adventurous journey of Abhay.

Abhay meets legendary characters of Mahabharata like Lord Krishna, Karna and Arjuna etc. He took the great part in the war and supported Krishna to fight with the Asura Mahederasura , it the name he saw at cave which he was doing research on.

Like this the journey of Abhay became more interesting the guy who always believed that Mahabharat is just a story were transferred in that time and now fighting beside Krishna and others.

So interesting ryt. It has much more to give so don't wait just pick this up and enjoy the adv journey of Abhay.

Language used was lucid. Narration and writing style can be better tbh! And who plot was amazing. Cover 8/10

Ps:- I love watching fantasy drama and movies. Specially fantasy kdrama.

As a huge fan of Indian mythology, the blurb of this book immediately caught my attention. It narrates the story of Abhay who time travels into the Mahabharata era to fight the asura, Mahendrasura alongwith Karna and Lord Krishna. This book has fantastic setting and pacing. The worldbuilding did not feel unnatural at all! I was immediately engrossed. Lord Krishna shines with his charming and funny dialogues with a touch of philosophy and spiritualism. I also liked how the author switched locations quickly but it was not at all confusing because of the lucid writing.
Plus, I absolutely loved the explanation guide for Sanskrit terms at the end of the book.
However, the dialogues between characters seemed slightly off to me. Not much was explored character wise - the main focus was on the story and even though the action scenes were greattt, there was too much talking.
Overall, I liked the book and I found myself wondering about what would happen next when i wasn't reading it. More than that, I think the author has sufficiently convinced me to go and visit the Jata Shankar Caves, which has been added to my to do list!

Book: Krishna Prophecy: The Rise of Mahendrasura
Author: Dinesh Veera
Publisher: Aksharansh Publication

✍️ In between so many fictional stories, sometimes we need unique style of writing to refreshing our mind. What about trying something related to mythology and fantasy ?

As Indian, usually we have a different heart for mythological characters. There are so many captivating things inside.

Now the author poured some modernatic flavour to give it a realistic look and it actually become interesting till end.

✍️ Abhay, a researcher accidentally logged into ancient world of mythology and started meeting characters from Mahabharata. Though he was getting more inside it but also he tried to get back to present time. During this entire monotony, he became the witness of some life changing experience.

✍️ Nicely written engaging story. Writing style is simple.

I appreciate author for creating something unique as we read so many mythological stories but combining modern days along with the ancient one with proper imagination is quite hard. He did it with utmost care and that's how it became beautiful.

⛰️ KRISHNA PROPHECY: THE RISE OF MAHENDRASURA⛰️
By Dinesh Veera

🖋️KRISHNA PROPHECY was such a treat of a read, bringing the story of Mahabharata in this spellbinding tale of sorcerous.

🖋️Abhay's meeting with Karan, Kandasur and Bhima's war, Karan's mind impresses a lot, but when Irania is Mahender's son, why is he calling Kandasur his uncle, then the Kabalis are shown talking in more vernacular language.Along with the plot runs an interesting storyline focusing on the rise of a great Asura King trying to destroy human kind.

🖋️Abhay meets Suryaputra Karna and Krishna and then the story just kicks off and you will enjoy the ride. It's an emotional rollercoaster along with a great adventure. One of the best Indian mythological novel in the history of India!

🖋️4 stars only and only for writing the original story because most of the writers are writing only retelling in the name of Hindi Mythology.

🖋️Iraniya, Kandasur and Surbatra's characters are very similar to Meghnad, Kumbhakarna and Vibhishana.....For me this book is a good one time read.

🖋️ Totally Recommended

"Birth and death are part of creation and destruction. Creation is significant only after destruction and destruction can only be done to a creation."

Abhay Sharma – an engineer and a history enthusiast, who loves exploring by digging deeper into the roots of ancient kingdoms and caves. This time, along with his professor Jaypal, Abhay sets out his research program towards Jatashankar Caves.

While exploring Abhay time travels, five thousand years back in the era of the epic Mahabharata. On his journey he encounters with Karna, Arjuna, Bheem, Jeevika, Krishna and many other characters. Abhay, along with them, sets out on a different venture to kill the demons and to bring the path of Dharma into light.

This novel is a blend of mythology and science-fiction with the touch of contemporary approach. Through this novel, the author brings out varied spiritual awakenings and wonders. The concepts of Dharma, Adharma, Maya and Moksha are brought into light. Overall, it was a good read for me, and it's an accurate book for mythology lovers.

The story is based on the Mahabharata period with a modern touch.

Abhay Sharma, a adventurous college student always thought the Mahabharata was just a tale; he experience different things in a mythological world when he reaches there during a research - and finds himself transported back five thousand years! Abhay's journey is from present to past. There he encounters Krishna, Karna, Bhishma, Arjuna, Asuras..

The characters are well developed by the author. The plot of the book makes the readers interested and more attractive. Lucid language gives good fluency to the storyline. A major beauty of this book is the striking cover that catches our eye at first glance. A very worthwhile quick read. I recommend this book to all readers and especially mythology lovers.

What an adventure reading this book has been!

Mythology, fantasy, time travel, you name it and this book has it.

Like many, I grew up reading the Mahabharata and the tales and characters in it have always fascinated me.
Now here’s a book about a character Abhay who accidentally travels back in time and is stuck in that very important era of history.

While his survival is constantly in danger I think I speak for all readers of this book when I say I wish I was in his place. Just getting to witness those events would be the best experience anyone can have. And if they make it out alive it’s even better.

I love the way the author tells this tale. He takes up back to that era. With such well written descriptions, it’s not hard for the readers to picture exactly what the author was trying to convey.

I love the writing style of the author and I wish we het a lot more books of his.
Fans of mythology, adventurous tales must absolutely read this. You’ll thank me later for recommending this 🤭

Two professors were conducting research at an ancient site when they stumbled upon a door with the name Mahendrasura on it. However, they were unable to recall anything about it. Unexpectedly, one of the professors, Abhay Sharma, discovered a golden water source, touched it, and was suddenly transported to the time of the Mahabharata.

The idea of having an opportunity to encounter those exceptional fighters and engage in battle beside them was highly intriguing. Additionally, the construction of the world was masterfully executed.

This book was a captivating read. The author's use of clear and straightforward language made it easy to follow, while their engaging writing style kept me hooked. The narrative about the final battles was particularly intriguing, featuring a range of Asuras each with their unique abilities and skills.

I found Abhay and Jeevika's bravery to be inspiring, and the use of Karna and Arjuna's Divya Astras was truly impressive. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to others.
