The 320 page book, not a 6 book book series, by the way, has promise, but oh, the execution!
The characters are engaging, the premise is intriguing, but the similes are just tragic. At first I thought a brave wheelchair was a brand name, but other word pictures intruding into the dialogue killed that idea. Hayley Summers, as an author, needs a good editor, or at least excellent beta readers, plural, to tell her not to make up word similes that are so very wrong that they become supremely irritating. I would be prepared to help her fix this because I think she has some real promise.

First of all it’s not a series. It’s just a book. One book. I actually could not finish it. I knew going in it was supposed to be an easy beach read, but come on. Why did Marisa and Sandy have to repeatedly refer to their homes as my beach house. EVERY TIME. Manspalining. And I love me some chick-fil-a but we’re they a paid sponsor. The tragedies!!! Not even sure how this got published.

Great feel good story
I enjoyed the story line very much. There was happiness, there was suspense and great twists but there were a lot of errors that should have been edited out. I did enjoy the book, once I could look past the editing mistakes.

Wow!
Loved this story! Touches every emotion. I found myself laughing. The characters are so real. I lived in a town similar. I too live on the Gulf coast of Florida. I didn't want the series to end. Thank you for such beautiful stories.

Good, clean book.
Enjoyed these books. Did not enjoy the "bad dream" part and felt it wasn't necessary. Keep writing and good luck!!

While reading this series, I find myself feeling the emotions of each character. Some happy and some sad, but in the end, it is a happy one.
