Starts off very well written. The pacing is slow and the dialogue is heavy but you’re able to enjoy it anyway because it’s clearly setup for later events. Except those later events never happen, minor goals never get resolved, and his progress is intentionally hampered for laughs and pointless drama.

Eventually the novel devolves into throwing out the plot entirely and the MC just runs around lamenting about being poor and unappreciated. Meanwhile is hasn’t focused on any of his money making goals, also, he IS extremely unappreciated. Despite being an absolute powerhouse who saved his Martial Arts university countless times as a freshman he is belittled and deprived of resources because they think he isn’t reliable (??!!). It doesn’t make sense and it’s stupid because he’s saved countless lives, resources, and the city itself repeatedly while all his peers (and seniors) are just a causal students backing him up at best.

The lack of progress and the flippant dismissal of any and all plot makes this barely worth reading past Chapter 50-100.
