Highly recommended!
Love this sequel and seeing the very protective butches and the smart and sassy femmes again. In this second book, a badass femme plays a major role. Her actions, the new love and the secrets being unraveled make Whimsical Princess a delight to read. Now looking forward to book 3.

Straight up, there was a f*ck-ton of information that flew clear over my head in this book. Fortunately, I had already read the first book (which I HIGHLY suggest you do before reading this one) so I was familiar with the characters and their different jobs. We got to know the 'Seven' more and more, but I found it frustrating that we couldn't get to know them outside of their work. They're always "on". I loved Kelly right from the start (the first book) and I couldn't wait to see her wield her femme powers in this book. She lived up to her reputation, but I was a little bummed that the push/pull teasing between Riley and Kelly didn't last longer. It felt like Kelly gave in too quickly to her and shortly after that, I dunno, that fierceness and snappy wit kind of faded, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, she was a fierce badass when need be, and I think it was her energy that drew me to her, almost a butch energy in a femme body, and I think that's why my expectations of her were different and why I felt the way I felt when she gave in to Riley so quickly. Either way, Kelly was not a scared, timid femme, she could stand shoulder to shoulder with the best, badass butch in the group and wasn't afraid to look them in the eye and tell them exactly where to go.
Whimsical Princess did not disappoint in the action/suspense area. And speaking of action, the action between the sheets was hot, but that's not surprising given who wrote it. Knowing that the 'Seven' are dominant, alpha types, I still would love to see a scene where a femme tops the butch. I would also love, love, love to witness a high temperature, blow-up, meltdown from one of the Seven and see exactly what happens when they can't control themselves. It sounds torturous for the character and sadistic on my part, but I'm genuinely curious to know.
Taylor left us salivating for more and she left a delicious taste as to what's coming next. I, for one, cannot wait! 5 stars because Taylor is a phenomenal writer and a whiz when it comes to all that "techy' talk all throughout the book, and my couple of disappointments were a personal thing, nothing to do with the writing or storytelling.

great series, great stories
In our very diverse community every paradigm should have a voice and Tiffany gives the Alpha Butch/Femme relationship a great voice. The complexities are difficult to understand but the respect and mutual consent are the only things that are important.
I have been very fortunate over my long life to have several alpha butch friends that had my back. In the 1960’s, 70’s, and 80’s it took a lot of courage to live as a butch, even in the queer community, and I am very glad that these books represent the ideals my friends and their partners shared with me.
Apart from the relationships the story keeps you on the edge of your seat and just really keeps you awake to see what happens next. Hopefully the next book comes out quickly.

This starts right where Whimsical Haven leaves off. Which you really need to read first. Great book. Rowan's CIA sister Kelly comes to check on her. Bryn, her twin sister Riley. And the seven are all there. Kelly swoops in with all her fiery femme self. Alpha butch Riley is immediately drawn to her. And for the first time Kelly has a desire to submit. If you like a well written book, with romance, thrills, danger, and passion. This is the series for you. There will be more to come. Nobody writes the Alpha butch and femme relationships like Tiffany. I highly recommend. I did receive an ARC but these are my own views.

Can't wait for book three, Ms Taylor has done a excellent job creating a diverse cast of characters in the well written sequel. This book explores the Alpha Butch/Femme relationship, Kelly is a badass. You won't put this book down.

This book is a follow-up to Whimsical Haven and is full of mystery, an evil villain, friends who “have your back”, butch characters and the fems who love them.
Tiffany E. Taylor has melded all the characters together in this action packed, page turning book. All women unafraid to face dangerous criminals with an “in your face” attitude! These women protect one of their own who is the target of the villain. It’s a fast moving story line that you won’t want to miss!
Mystery, tension and nail biting worthy plots are all rolled into one in this book.
The main character, Kelly is not afraid to be a bold, badass woman and backs up this attitude with being the best in her field, until it’s all taken away from her.
Very vague review because I don’t want to give away any spoilers. Take my word for it, if you like mysteries and badass women, you are going to love this book!

I loved Whimsical Princess. I just want to let you know very few authors have kept me waiting on the edge of my seat for the next book in the series; but Tiffany E. Taylor has done that. This book has everything. It has action, adventure, love, passion. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I kept wanting more. The only disappointment with this book is it ended. I wanted to keep going so I was excited to see the excerpt for Whimsical Angel. I would recommend this book and series to anyone who loves reading the butch/femme genre.

Sometimes a book is everything you know you want and need that it takes you by surprise. It gave me that feeling of not being able to wait to finish the story and yet not wanting to finish it because it means parting with the characters.
I love the strong badass characters in this book/series/universe. Sometimes you get so used to characters beating around the bush that you're kind of taken aback to see characters being unafraid and going for what they want.
I enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it.

Mystery and tension, the Butch Femme kind, build immediately in this fast paced read by Tiffany E Taylor.
Strong, protective Butches of the Armstrong Protection Services and the beautiful Femmes who fall in love and in league with them. Characters that I could of only wish for, come to life in this Butch/Femme page turner.
Heroes and villains! All that is missing is a triumphant march!

This is the second book in Tiffany E. Taylor’s “Whimsical” series. I gotta tell you, it’s just as good as the first book!
In this book, we have Riley Armstrong, Brynn Armstrong’s twin. She’s immediately enamored by Rowan Holland’s younger sister, Kelly. Again, there’s suspense and adventure and romance ut there’s also danger.
These books could easily be read as stand alone but, oh, you’d be cheating yourself of fun and, yes, some hot sex!

This book didn't waste any time on getting Kelly in the mixed of the action. Like the first one I enjoyed how the team works together winning against their enemies. The chemistry between Kelly and Riley are off the charts. I can not wait for the third book. This is a must read!!!!

I love some Badass butches. I absolutely loved this book, the instant connection and strong chemistry. The character development was impeccable. I look forward to more of this series by Tiffany E Taylor.

The APS crew are again engaged in protecting a woman in trouble however, the woman in question is very resistant. Again a bit of spanking and bdsm. A lot of family involved. Loved it

A beautiful, fantastic gem from my TBR shelves! So far this is the only book of the series I've read. But, I will be reading the rest! The love between femme Kelly and butch Riley is beautiful and HOT! When the head of a crime organization is interested in Kelly, she's put in a precarious position and needs to be rescued. The action is heartstopping! A FAVORITE! 5 stars!

The Alpha Badass Butches of Armstrong Protective Services (APS) have their hands full with Rowan's little sister, a former hotshot covert and clandestine ops agent for the CIA, Femme Princesa Badass Kelly as they refer to her, shortened to Princesa or Kel.
Kelly challenges much of how the butches treat and think of femmes backed up by her big sis, Ro. And she's willing to go head to head with them in order to be accepted for who she is and gain their respect for her abilities and skillset or she's out.
And it's a good thing she does because this causes her to become a respected, useful, contributing asset and associate and allows APS to think outside their boxes and up their game in carrying out their work of protective services.
It also caused Riles and Kels hot relationship to develope into a more balanced one of respect and understanding especially of Riley towards Kelly, which gave them a stronger more intense and intimate connection.
Though this book picks up where book one ends, it's a standalone, yet it's best to read both books in order for better understanding and enjoyment. And there's plenty of action, adventure, intrigue and suspense with a well crafted and thought out storyline filled with robust characters that will keep you on the edge of your seat and up late reading.

Good but....
Ok this was a great follow-up to the first book. Only a few things. In this story the MFC was kinda worried about money. But in the first book, they had inherited millions from their mother. Why worry about money ? The stuff on the CIA. There are two main branches within the "company". The DO, Operations Directorate and the DI, Intelligence Directorate. Now both of those have smaller departments with in. Analysts are in the DI. Case Officers (spys) are part of the DO. Rarely do you have someone go from the DI to the DO.
And you don't have a " chick" infiltration. You use a "honey pot" when you plan to use " sex" to get information. The Soviet's were particularly good at using them to gain intelligence. Both women and men were used for this. Ok enough of this. ... lol
Get the book, you will enjoy it.

Loving the suspense
Whimsy sure seems magical. I’m absolutely loving the stories and the suspense. I’m so hooked that I can’t seem to read anything else right now. Kelly definitely deserves to have help getting rid of those that want to harm her. It’d be really cool if APS were real, there definitely is a need for protection services.

4 stars. Took me way too long to get back to this series but nevertheless this was really good! Riley! She’s just as swoon worthy as Bryn from book one. I just really love how dominant and possessive these characters are. Kelly was an absolute bad ass and I adored her. She and Riley were dynamic together and so extremely sexy. The plot was great too and I love the side characters. I’ll be starting book three very soon cause so far this series has been great.

I was arguing between a 2 and a 3. I did really like Kelly so she ended up swaying it. I don’t feel any overwhelming need to read the next one right away though so no more hate reading for me 💅

I really loved how strong Kelly is throughout the book. It was a nice contrast to how shy and sweet her sister is in the first book. I really felt the chemistry between Riley and Kelly from the very beginning and liked that it took them a short minute before they got together.
