Alex is back and is frustrated with the news she has been given. One of her best friend’s has told her that everyone believes she is behind the conspiracy and the criminal enterprise that is trying to burn the world down. I get it, always in the middle of all the dreadful things, but she is never eliminated. And now her long buried memories from her childhood are starting to surface. Always with family and friends around her she digs deep into her psyche to solve the riddles surrounding and causing all the turmoil in their lives. Hang on to your hats, this was one wild ride.
It is not the end! It cannot be. I need more of these characters forever in my life. If I could meet characters from a book, it would be this one. I need to hug Alex, I need to see the beauty that is Raz, I need with my whole heart to meet the Jakker. Truly this series is absolutely going to be one of my recommendations for a long time for readers looking for a series that has an overarching storyline as well as small ones within each book.

Just another Fey. Don’t miss it
If you’ve read the first 8 Fey books you don’t need a review telling you how good this one is. You’ll just read it.
If you haven’t read the first 8 books you really should before reading this one. Not because you won’t understand it all (you won’t but it doesn’t matter) but because after reading this one you’ll want, no have, to start from the beginning and read the series. And after reading 8 you’ll decide to read 9 again so just start with 1 and enjoy the ride.
And after reading all 9 Fey books you’ll go look at what else and Christian has written and your reading list for all of 2023 will be full. And you’ll love every minute of it, and feel like an insider as you see all the crossovers.
If Claudia Hall Christian has written it, read it. I have.

Great series
I love this series and this book. I care about the characters and always look forward what will happen to them next. The series has a lot of twists and turns and the author does a good job keeping the plot moving. The writing is done extremely well through all the technical aspects and flows smoothly. This is not a book that can be picked up and you know what's going on, start at the beginning. I recommend this series if you like a good female lead who is intelligent if a little broken.

Better than ever!
This is one of the best series ever. A real page turner.

Excellent continuation of series. Can't wait for the next one. If you are thinking of purchasing this book, make sure you have read the previous Fey novels first.

Love the Fey Series
I absolutely love how Claudia can write this series and the Denver Cereal series to over lap characters. True Mark is well written and very easy to read. If you like series that have an ongoing plot but change with outside family/personal situations then the Fey Series is definitely a series for you. If you can't get enough then I suggest reading the Denver Cereal series also. Can't wait for the next Fey book!!!
