I thought I had found a family. I thought I had found freedom. But it seems I'm destined to always be someone's possession. I don't know if my found family is still even alive thanks to the chaos when I was stolen. And now I'm drowning in the overwhelming decadence of the fae sect of the syndicate. The more I learn about Robin's court, the more I question their motives. Maybe it all really was just pretty lies.
The fae are cold and terrible, but alluring in their own way. And they are willing to use a combination of mistreatment, manipulation, mind tricks, and sweet words to get information about my abilities and the rebel court. I can't control my powers, and I don't know anything about Robin's plans. But telling them that seems more dangerous than playing their games. They've sent one of their kind to befriend me. But I won't fall for that trick again. Friends are a luxury you can't afford when everyone wants to use you for your magic.
The Love and Revenge series features a lost woman who is determined to find herself, and the men and women who love her. Finding your place in the world isn't easy, and this story is suitable for mature audiences only. Contains poly relationships and LGBTQ+ characters.
Author's Note *This story is paranormal poly romance (which means multiple consensual lovers within the relationship.) There will be MF, FF, MM and MMFFMM scenes as the series progresses. *This story contains explicit sex scenes and mature language. *These characters have tragic/traumatic backstories. If you know me, you know you can be assured of a HEA, BUT if you’re easily triggered, please just pass on by. *Contains some alpha/beta/omega elements, but reimagined. *Contains characters with varied forms of sexual preference and gender expression, including straight, bi/pan, and transgender characters. If it makes your little heart happy, and you’ve stuck with me thus far, then come on in, there’s a seat right here by the fire. Would you like a virtual cup of tea? (We’re currently out of pet dragons, sorry.) *This book is part of a series, so there is a hook/cliffhanger/lead-in to the next book. This book is a full length novel over 80k words, and with progress/development in multiple plot arcs, not of all which are resolved in this book, but will be ongoing.
Sometimes our greatest strengths come from our deepest challenges. I write magic and romance, starring a cast of creatures with feathers, fins, and teeth. My books include paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and fantasy romance--with the occasional steampunk or alien story thrown in just for kicks. My pan heart firmly believes love is love, so you'll see straight, LGBTQIA, monogamous, reverse harem, and poly relationships in my work. My favorite theme is overcoming our inner demons and the insecurities that hold us back. I also advocate for self-development and mental health and dabble in non-fiction as time allows. I love the outdoors and still hope to be abducted by fae! (I may have more in common with my characters than I care to admit.)
I love to hear from readers!

Once again, Kaye Draper hit it out of the park with this book!! Oh my gosh, it was amazing!!
This is the kind of book and series that you can already tell while you are still reading it that the book hangover is going to be bad. This is just too good, and has ALL THE THINGS, and when it’s over (or we’re waiting for the next book or books, since as of November 2023 the author is still working hard on this series), it’s going to be downright impossible to beat.
The drama of the first half was oh so good, and the switching first person perspectives kept the pace moving right along. I loved the back and forth to keep interest high and show both sides / all sides of the situation (trying to keep this spoiler free).
Like the first book, there’s lots of action, and relationships ship building, and delicious heat and spice. We get a new guy too! Heck yeah. I love how all of the characters feel distinct, which is a tough find in RHs, but oh so well done here.
Also like book 1, there’s a lead-in to the next book but even less of a soft-cliff to drop off of than the last one. Ahh.
Extremely well edited and paced.
Spice is (according the the scale I found on Reddit): Open Door (You know what's happening and how it feels, but there's probably only a few scenes in the book) - 3/5 🌶️s. There’s a group scene in this one that is SO HOT you’ll need a shower after. Delicious.
This one wasn't quite as good as the first, although I love the new characters. I think I wanted more growth from some of the characters than what we got, but I LOVE the growth from Ruya. The book also had some irritating patterns in grammar that I hate (so many sentences began with "but," which I'm okay with stylistically sometimes, but not to the point where there are multiple per paragraph). Looking forward to the next one, as always.
Okay, wow. This series is really getting interesting. Also appreciate the character growth that our heroine is going through. Its organic and slow going, which makes sense given how isolated she was growing up. Its the sign of a really good author when they can recognize that they have given their main character some major trauma that they can't just erase.
I’m liking the story but I will say I feel the romance and romantic love is missing. There’s sexual attraction plenty but no real romantic relationship building. Just feels like there’s elements missing both in that but also in the main characters growth and development. She’s changing but the details taking her there are missing.
I’m thoroughly enjoying this new world and characters that Ms. Draper has created. I’ve devoured all of her titles, but am especially enjoying the growth of the main character on this series.
The story is unfolding and Ruya is coming out of her timid shell and growing into a confident Boss!! I love how the relationships are slowly developing… and I absolve the funny banter between characters. Jumping into book 3 now!
Love this! The characters are really growing and their personalities and the past that has shaped them are wonderful. The storyline just gets better and better.
