And the honor of Omega of the Year goes to... knot me.
That title goes to my twin sister who is everything a top pack could want.
Me? I've never been good at being an omega and have no desire to match with a pack. Especially not the pack of Alphaball players who have their sights set on my sister.
When I match with Beck, Rylan, Rio, and Kane I'm left with little choice but to see the match through.
But their pack is in for quite the surprise...
I'm knot so perfect and maybe they aren't either.
* Knot So Perfect Omega is a reverse harem standalone and contains adult content.
DNF at 38% after the FMC omega Kayla "hate-fucked" with the Alpha .
The character development was shallow, and I found it super difficult get the men in the harem straight since they were not introduced with distinguishing features, and two had similar names. I did not believe the speed of the pack from meeting an omega they hadn't really wanted as a member to full on intimacy with a virgin. There was a lot of dissonance between figuring out if Kayla was truly suited to the men's pack due to both scent and personality and the biological (?) urge to have sexual relations with her. In one chapter, Kayla mentioned that she had wanted *no knots* to the men before allowing them to touch her intimately, and she still had a very poor relationship with at the point, but in the next chapter, she was begging for knot and letting him take her virginity.
I couldn't handle the inconsistent personalities and lack of depth in the writing, and the villain was very predictable and just a matter of time before Something Bad Happened. Passing on the book, and this author's version of omegaverse.
I loved the originality of trope - I really loved it. She didn't want a pack and didn't put one down after schooling and the pack didn't want an omega and somehow they get put together.
Like it's a small push and pull but very quickly they feel the attraction between each other. But they still have to figure out how they ended up together.
Overall it's quitttttte spicy with fun scenes (pegging anyone?).
4.3 stars. Hot. Super hot. The plot was super intriguing. I loved the whole mix up thing going on. The characters were all pretty likable, though Beck was a little quicker to yell and judge than the others.
The sex was hot as hell. Though we didn’t get everything I was hoping for, we did get a totally hot pegging scene so…yeah. (*finger guns*)
It was a bit jumbled at times with things moving a tiny bit too fast to fully keep track of what was going on, but I enjoyed it.
This was an ok read. I enjoyed it overall but it needed a bit of work.
The guys weren’t well developed at all. Beck is the only one who really stuck out because he was a jerk for a stupidly long amount of time. The others were pretty much all the same person. I’m not sure how many there were or what they looked like. Aside from liking her scent I wasn’t sure why they wanted to keep her after the clear mistake/tampering.
Beck was the only one who didn’t want to keep her so, of course, he has sex with her first. I really hate when h sleeps with the douchenozzle first.
It was still a pleasant read despite its flaws.

Lol. this imploded. Everything about this just….imploded
I can’t remember the exact page that this flipped into such an inconsistent, hair-scratching and WTH fondue, but I swear it was “the pool scene”. it was definitely that accursed pool scene. ಠ_ಠ ಠ_ಠ
Honestly, either Kayla and Beck have split personalities…or they were just replaced by aliens. Fickle, drama-loving aliens. The other boys had no personality imo. Very stereotypical.
I ended up skimming the smut, and the mystery I read this to end for was soo lol (◕‿◕✿)
1. stars for the Kayla of chapter 1 and 2? The one before living the guys 🤷♀️["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
This was utter garbage. Like, I get it, it's omegaverse so there's biology involved.... but for Kayla to do a complete 180 in the space of a day, especially with an alpha that treated her like trash, it shows that she has no self respect. Added to that, there was no real character development and no attempt at relationship building.
This read like a novella. I think the characters could have been developed more as well as the underlying plot. I had trouble distinguishing between the alphas at times - which is not something that typically happens when I read a RH. While the story and connection were there, depth and details were missing because the story moved along too quickly. And key facts about the characters’ backstory were thrown in toward the end. It was hard not comparing it to pack darling (which was much better) because the book was slightly similar.
All that said, it had great spicy scenes. I liked the heroine - an omega who didn’t want to match with a pack but somehow found herself matched with billionaire sports stars. The alpha MMCs were hot and had a good mix of different personalities.
3.5 stars. I've found that the only time I can read multi-partner romances is when they fall within a "sexy found family" sort of situation. And this one matches that.
I enjoyed this group of men, tho they're a bit dumb about basic stuff. Like, how they can think it's okay to let their mate come to an empty house for days before they meet her!? Seriously. So ridiculous.
Beck was a clear personality but the rest of the guys blended into each other.
I'm a little surprised I enjoyed it... and I'll be reading the second one too when it comes out.
The mystery was fun.
Omegaverse is so weird. And not all of the books work for me... but I enjoyed this one.
Spoilers ahead of, 2.5* rounded up because I'm a sucker for omegaverse
Kayala and Kara are twin Omegas who've graduated from the elite Omega university (can't remember the name) and are now looking to be matched. One is the perfect Omega and has been named best omega her entire four years of school....the other is Not. Kayla doesn't want to match to a pack, she's independent and wants to start her own business. She overheard a conversation where the most sought after Alpha's said if they didn't like the Omega they could send her back, knowing her sister wanted that match Kara cautions her not to put down their name.....to everyone's shock Kayla is matched to the pack that she called the leader an asshole but something's amiss because Kayla didn't want them and they thought they were getting her sister
**** So a mix up leads to the wrong twin being sent to the guys This book itself seemed confused, the whiplash I'd get when the characters would now say one thing and next chapter it's something completely different Now I could understand the mixup and that they really wanted Kayla after all but I'd have preferred they spent time with the sister just to be fully clear The mmcs confused me, at one point I didn't even realise there were 4 I thought it was 3 😂 Kayla seemed so level headed and sure about what she wanted but when biology kicked in all bets were off, she claimed she didn't want knots in she being knotted by the very Alpha who's been such an asshole to her. I realise recently this scenario really pisses me off....why is it the one who's been so unwelcoming and rude and doesn't want her get to be her first??? Ughhhhh personal irritant lately These men were all idiots.... you're telling me all those red flags about their assistant were being raised and they just didn't catch on that something was wrong? I really really needed them to be around the sister just to be sure, the entire set up just gives me weird vibes So much talk of Kayla's business and her plans for it but nothing happened after. I'd have really liked to see her start it up There were some parts I didn't like, it didn't flow as it should but I'm reading the next
No cheating Virgin h Guys had been with betas before but not really much detail One had been part of a pack with an omega who didn't bond with him No m/m
I enjoyed reading this book! It was well balanced between romance, knotting, a bit of action, and tension so it let place to develop the storyline and the characters.
I really appreciated as well that the author gives us more information about omega and their biology. It was very interesting and new details were explained.
Kyara is an interesting character, fierce, and independent. It was interested watching her changing her mind about what is pack life and in fact, embracing fully what she is.
I just have to say that I'm not sure I really understood what is Alphaball😅😅
I'm not sure I will read the book about Kara, Kyara twin sister, and N'Pact. Kara wasn't a very nice person, too full of herself and the guys of N'Pact? Just a bunch of menwore...🙄
I really enjoyed this read!! It helped me with a book slump… I couldn’t put it down. I loved the main character, she’s so fun, and I really like her personality. I also liked the mmcs, I just wish there were a little bit more different from one another.
I just really wanted an epilogue. I’m excited to read the next book in this series.
I picked up this book after it was recommended in a book group and it definitely sat on my TBR for too long! I adore this story! It was fun and flirty with a touch of drama and insecurity! All of those aspects blended together to create a romantic story with just the right amount of spice to balance it out!
As it is, Omegaverse is my favorite genre. So, after seeing this book is released, and remembering that I have read a novella about the Omega Match in the Knot Over You anthology, I decided to read it straight away.
I have only read two other books from Maya Nicole before. I had to look it up. ;) Because, of course, I don't have a mind to remember everything. And after seeing the covers of them, I sure remember that I loved that stories, too. So, it was a no-brainer with Omegaverse in it. As I stated in quite a few reviews, nothing gets me quicker to read anything than put Omegaverse on it.
And the premise of Knot So Perfect Omega was promising in many ways. For one, Omega twins or twins in general aren't that often. Sure, I have read a lot of books with sisters with the same light and dark theme. Meaning, one is apparently perfect and the other not.
And having a wayward and reluctant FMC isn't that rare, too. It's a common theme in Omegaverse. But still I liked Kayla and the pack, who isn't that sold on having an Omega either.
The story itself was unique too. Though, I could predict some contents.
Anyway, the book worked for me, and I was engrossed in the writing and the characters. They didn't feel like run-of-the-mill and had some depth with personal experience and their struggles and fears. I'm a huge fan of the psychological aspect of things, and here it was well-developed. I like it, when something imperfect works out perfectly. That is something I always used to say. A lot of people think they have to find the perfect person, without realizing, that perfect isn't always the best. Sometimes you just have to find something imperfect that just fit perfect for you. Like a puzzle, each part different, but still fit somewhere to make a whole picture.
So, overall, it was amazing. I can't wait for the second book with Kara and the N'Pact. I hope there will be more books in the Omegaverse after the twins.
What is it about the Omegaverse that leaves me feeling warm and tingly?! I knew as soon as Maya Nicole announced this book that it was going to be exceptional and I was not wrong.
Kara the independent Omega that doesn't need no alpha or pack to complete her for that matter, Gets thrown into the deep end when she matches up with a pack. Not just any pack though, the pack of the Alpha she's just insulted at the meet and greet.
With a mistake made Kara has to decide if she wants to continue down the rabbit hole that is this matching to the Alphas that smell and look delicious. Kane, Rylan, Rio & Beck don't make it an easy task on her at all. Sinful, Sweet, Broody, Thoughtful and British at times these men are the complete package.
I enjoyed this book from start to finish. Every part was thought out well and not just stuffed with the spicy stuff although there was definitely plenty of it. I only wish we got to see more of Kayla and maybe their mum and dad's too. Although from what I seen Kayla is getting her own book which I already can't wait for!
Knot so perfect omega was ironically absolutely perfect

⭐️: 4.5/5 🌶: 4/5

I loved this book!! Some of my favorite books are omegaverse, and this is no exception.
Kayla is a rare omega twin, but she couldn’t be more different from her twin. While her twin is the perfect omega and longs for a life with a pack, Kayla has no intentions of joining a pack and has faked her way through omega schooling.
Beck, Rylan, Rio, and Kane are a pack of alphas that also happen to be the top team of Alphaball players. When their manager suggests pairing with an omega to help better their image and playing on the field, they reluctantly agree. Their manager sold them on Kara - Kayla’s perfect omega twin.
After a mix-up, Kayla is matched with the alphas instead. And boy oh boy is this one steam inducing mistake. While Kayla isn’t the perfect omega like her twin, she definitely fits in quite well with Beck, Rylan, Rio, and Kane. What’s better than one possessive Alphahole? Four of them. I loved how possessive they were over Kayla even when they were first trying to determine if the five of them would even work. This was such a good omegaverse - definitely adding to my list of favorites.
If you’re looking for a steamy omegaverse invoking four possessive alphaholes and one reluctant omega, add Knot So Perfect Omega to your TBR!!
This book was so good, that I could not put it down. I haven't read many omegaverse books, but Maya Nicole has me wanting to read them all!
Kayla and her twin sister Kara are students at Omega Academy. Kara is your perfect Omega, but Kayla wants no part of the Omega life. She wants to start her own business and be an independent woman. But everything changes when their class takes a trip to meet the Killer Gnomes Alphaball team. Rylan Kane and Rio are excited at the prospect of an omega joining their pack, but Beckett, the head of the pack, wants to focus on Alphaball and making it to the playoffs.
An unexpected turn of events changes everything for Kayla, Kara, and the boys, and their worlds are turned upside down. While they try to figure out what went wrong, Kayla and the boys make the best of their new situation, and things get hot! There is pain and suffering along the way, but the pack will do whatever they can to make things work.
Knot So Perfect Omega is one of the best reverse harems I've read, and it's given me a new book boyfriend....just wait until you meet Rylan! This book is part of the Omega Match series but is a standalone. I can't wait for the next book!
This was a cute omegaverse. It’s an easy read and fun to follow along with. It was a little of a rocky start for me but got better as I went and I hit the point of not being able to put it down.
The beginning gave me “not like other girls” vibe which I don’t love and some of the opinions felt inconsistent in a short amount of time. Once I got past those initial parts (not long into the book) it flowed a lot better for me. I ended up really liking our FMC and the guys were sweet and caring.
I will say I’m pretty excited for Kara’s book. After the glimpses of future characters, I need to know what’s going to happen.
I just finished the book and holy mother of all things smutty!! Rylan has got to be my favorite!! Is it to late, can I stake claim to him to be mine! I don't think I have laughed so hard while reading until now, and let me tell you I am getting this one for my shelves! I have to have it!
It was so hot and the guys were even hotter! I li Ed Becks hot and cold demeanor, Rylan's can do attitude and don't get me started on the butt plugs. 🤣🤣 Rio AKA Nafario, why couldn't we use his full name the whole time again for? It's like panty melting when said. Kane was our laid back bike ridin hottie that kept us guessing and of coarse out FMC Kayla was my absolute fave with her corky and sassy attitude with a big heart for everyone including her sister. ❤️
Of coarse in every book there must be a villain and ours was amazing. He even had me fooled until the pieces began to snap into place although he was pretty suspicious even in the beginning. The BFF of coarse was a sister and who doesn't love Kara, she is my favorite sidekick and can't wait to read her story! She was amazing. If you haven't picked this read up then your missing out cause Maya Nicole slayed this, and is definitely one everyone must read!
Omega twins are rare. Equally rare are Omegas who don't dream of a pack, heats, and babies. That makes Kayla a unicorn. Her twin Kara is the perfect Omega. Literally. She has worked her entire life to prepare herself for the perfect pack. Kayla doesn't even want to match with a pack. She wants a business. So when she finds herself matched to an elite pack of Alphaball players, her thoughts go to sabotage, not happily ever after.
I liked the characters. The premise wasn't original but one proven to be entertaining. I was loving the book until about the halfway mark. And then it stopped working. It was too predictable and the plot holes were too much. There was no suspense since there were big clues shining a spotlight on each direction the book would take including the next book. The pack and Kayla both acted in ways that were not in their best interest or the best interest of their future. It all came across as contrived. It's a shame because the world-building and characters were good. If there had been more emphasis on relationship building instead of the "danger drama", it would have been much better. I hope Kara's book is more character-focused.
I’m a sucker for a heroine who doesn’t fit in a box. Kayla isn’t a “perfect” omega, but she’s awesome and I love her! The guys grew on me, although one took longer than the rest haha. Can’t wait to read about Kara’s story!
This was a really cute story and I enjoyed it. The book is a standalone and definitely a sweet omegaverse, though not as sweet as most of the sweetverse I’ve read. The story itself was a light, fluffy read with completely unsurprising ‘plot twists’.
I think the reason this book isn’t a 4 star read is because of the prolonged uncertainty of their relationship (until the very end). This book takes the typical sweet omegaverse tropes and mashes them together: reluctant omega, unwilling alpha, and problems from outside the relationship. All of that would have still been okay, if the FMC and MMC’s weren’t still distrustful and wary of each other until the absolute end of the story. The continued reluctance to trust each other really takes away from the ‘sweetness’.
While I enjoyed the story, for the most part, I’ll probably not read this again. It just wasn’t sweet enough for a sweetverse and didn’t have a good enough storyline for a regular book.
- Multiple POV’s - 4 Alphas (pro alphaball players lol) - FMC is an unwilling omega - Knotting, nesting, heat - No MM or FF - Triggers: hostage situation and attempted murder - 4/5 Steamy stars (the first two s*x scenes made me really uncomfortable because of how FMC was treated by one particular alpha)
(Minimal to no world building, some character development, decent relationship development)
Cute little omegaverse story. I though the story was cute, but it didn't have enough depth for me. The guys seemed to not have any back story but beck. And even his was vague. The mating was so rushed, but I guess a HEA is better then none. Will definitely be reading the second book and Kara story. She definitely needs her own pack to love her
The omegaverse is great! As typical for this sub-genre, the organisation responsible for “matching” omegas with alphas is potentially corrupt. It’s a popular trope but nevertheless it was done in a unique way. The concept of boarding school and finishing school was well executed.
I couldn’t stand Beck. Even by the end, he just… he took her V card and acted like it was nothing, then he just… gets away with “it’s me, not you” as if that’s a good excuse??? The other three guys were fine, if kinda not memorable because the plot’s “hang-up” was Beck. The one that was possibly a wealthy kid was interesting, but not nearly deep enough because it wasn’t mentioned more than twice.
Overall: it was… somehow shallow? Events happened because they needed to - and for a virgin, she let them start touching with little to no warning. There was somehow a complete lack of tension - but also, absolute tension because none of them knew what was going on until the very end. I knew, from the moment the Brian character told her to go ahead of him into the house and he’d get her bag. 100% knew he was fishy. I like me a good suspicious character BUT the fact that they all loathed him but didn’t actually suspect him is just… dumb. But hey, very in character for “jocks”.
Solid 4 stars. I took a star off because I wish there’d been more in depth descriptions of just about everything.
LOVED the detail of her being a quilter - but as an actual young adult quilter, I kinda got the feeling the author has little experience with the realities of quilting.
This was just what I needed to get me out of my reading slump! Knot So Perfect Omega is a full length novel but it reads like a novella. I'm pretty new to the omegaverse genre but I've never read a book where the omega and the alpha pack didn't want each other in the beginning and couldn't imagine life without the other by the end. I think I like omegaverses because when the omega and the alphas get together in the beginning they have to learn how to navigate each other and are unsure at first, but they know that they have an insane pull between them. The omega automatically feeling safe around the alphas and the alphas having the overwhelming need to protect the omega. <3 <3 <3 all around!!!

A pretty fast burn, spicy, stand-alone omegaverse romance.
We didn’t delve into the characters nearly enough, and things progressed fairly quickly with 180 degree changes of heart. The mystery was part wasn’t too much of a surprise as to who’d done it, but the motivation behind them required the explaining that happened very quickly at the end. It was also a very abrupt ending to the book, not much of an epilogue.
I am looking forward to the next book, as I’m pretty sure I know who’s story is next and I’m here for it!
Really well written omegaverse world here. I enjoyed the pack dynamics, plot twists, central characters and overall interaction.
This is a tight, tight sub-genre for me, so it wasn't perfect, but I'm stoked to read the second upon its release, and I'm hoping those little kinks this author has continue to develop, because she'll be a top contender in no time flat.
