You would almost think the author remembered their own lore. But nope. Too good to be true. This book had me actually confused. The omega has a child. Is an adult. Lived in the town for years. They all know each other. Been with his chosen mate for years. Baby daddy has shamed him, come, gone, in rehab. Dry. Ruben has been sleeping and dragging his way through the series forever. But, oh wait. 2 years of knowing each other u realise your each others true mates? You can have a baby, know each other n then oh yeah lets just match these guys up.
But, the insanity doesn't stop there. The Omega doesn't want his true mate, of course .. par for the course in this series by now, wants his boyfriend. But, doesn't want his true mate to keep sleeping around. But, his truemate realises his Omega doesn't want him doesn't want to be a AH, so will step aside n keep his different one every night lifestyle. Only person who cares that they true mated was the widowed side piece, he's the only person who values what truemates are meant to be. Because the person who created this universe certainly doesn't.
Stop writing true mate series if u want to write mmm or bear trouple romance. Its fine its just not truemates. Just dont break your own lore

🌟 A Wonderful Story!
First of all it was definitely essential, in my opinion, to read Book 15.5 that the author links you to at the beginning of this book! This is a very emotional journey for all the primary characters. I was shedding both sad and happy tears quite a bit. I wasn't too thrilled at the beginning of this because of the uneven field everyone started on and all of the eggshell walking they were doing but it was all part of the process of getting to their very hard earned HEAs! Lots of love, heartache, soul-searching, good intentions gone wrong then right...then...? ;) A well written heartwarming read!

couldn-t-get-through
April 28, 2022Just couldn’t do it. I wanted the Phipps and Cypress story that took place before this book. I normally enjoy poly but this just didn’t sit well with me. DNR.
