Don't Let It In

Rate this book
In the still darkness outside, you hear a soft voice asking for help. Traveling some unknown countryside you find a town where laughter is definitely not the best medicine. Perhaps you are conducting an autopsy and find a USB drive where it should not be. Or you find yourself haunted by something that is always, always behind you.

Before you read the twenty-four stories contained in this latest expansion of Brandon Faircloth's ever-growing interconnected universe of horror, there are few things you should bear in mind. You will be terrified. You will be moved. You will be changed by your new steps through this world.

And most importantly, when you hear that quiet scratching outside your small circle of light?

Don't let it in.

I made it through 63% of the book. Nothing had me on the edge of my seat. Some of the excerpts were made for the reader to figure out what was happening. Ii have over a half to read but I want to read something else but …

I need to start something new!

Great book

Wonderful stories. Short horror stories are my favorite type of stories and this was definitely one of the better ones that I've read. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the short horror form.

Chock full of short horror stories and some stories are interconnected, which was a fun surprise - I don't think they are all in the same horror-verse though? One reviewer on Amazon.com described reading through the book like "binging a good series" and that is exactly how I felt. It was a solid body of work! The stories are varied and you don't feel as though you've come across these particular settings and circumstances. I'm looking forward to reading more of this author.

This book is SO good. If you’re a fan of creepy pasta, this is for you. So many of these stories genuinely creeped me out. When I read short story collections, I usually find that a few are boring or lackluster to me. In this collection, even if I didn’t connect with it or feel creeped out by it, it kept my attention. A ton of variety here so you’re likely to find a story that you love. I cannot wait to read more from Brandon!

Eerie, Creepy, Haunting

Some stories are better than others. It's the ones that are better that haunt you. The type of story that you find yourself thinking about in odd moments right before falling asleep. Nothing particularly gory, just little things that creep into your psyche.

So much fun

A collection of the craziest short stories I have ever been amazed by. These stories are funny, disturbing, frightening, and gross. You will quite enjoy the imagination, and originality that is each story is chock full of. So read this for the fun of it.

Great read

Great stories! I couldn't pit them away. I just kept on reading, kind of like binging on a good series.

It was kinda like campfire stories of Lovecraft intra-dimensional boogeymen.
