This was so cute!! Mind you, I dropped watching VNL Nippon Vs. Italia for this. That's how cute it is!! And the visible red string of faith is such a cute concept!!

Anyway, gotta go back and check the score now! Let's see if Ryujin Nippon will bring home the bronze medal 😭

I liked this way more than I was expecting, it was just so cute! I'm not giving it 5 stars because if there ever is a second volume, I'm scared I'm not gonna like it as much so 4.5 stars it is. Which is still a very high rating for me, especially for a bl manga!

Nnnnnhh it was cute but it felt like the beginning rather than a complete story. (Also I read it on the heels of セフレ、やっぱなしで！ sooooooooo the comparisons were inevitable.)

There were just a lot of things that made me feel like, “So then what happened?” For example: Miyanori’s family issue (I hate his dad and his brother tbh), Hashiba and Miyanori’s homeroom teacher being an enormous dickwad, and honestly even the aftermath of Miyanori’s “but daddy I love him” scene at school.

And while the story did its best to like explain why Miyanori and Hashiba would like each other, it just felt … incomplete, and lacking. I wouldn’t mind reading a second volume that might, IDK, go more in-depth or spend more time on their relationship or whatever, but at the same time, I wouldn’t spend money for like a new copy. (I got mine second hand, thanks Bookoff.)

Honestly, if you want to read a story about (college) students and the red thread of fate, then go for 赤い糸の執行猶予 Akai Ito no Shikkou Yuuyo . That one’s more fun.

Gotta say tho, Miya (the cat) is super cute, and also I like Hashiba’s mom.

*LOUD UGLY HONKING SOBS* This was so unexpectedly cute and pure! The characters' personalities and backstories were also different from what I thought they were. They're both so young and experiencing new (non-sexual) things together! There is some light angst, but those few scenes with the prejudiced school administration made my blood boil! *Gnashes teeth* As a fellow educator, it pisses me off whenever I remember how easily some teachers will dismiss a student like Hashiba just because they seem a bit rough around the edges. I hope all kids in similar situations find someone like Miya to support them.

This manga is so cute and pure. Even though Miyanari is fighting against fate he’s slowly falling hard for how sweet and kind Hashiba actually is. And how he seems to actually care about him. I’m excited for chapter updates!

Reading this requires a bit of patience because the plot moves very slowly, although each chapter can be quite short. However, the progression of the relationship between Hashiba and Miyanari is so slow that one might forget that the main genre of this manga is school romance.

I'm not particularly fond of the artwork, but I wouldn't say I dislike it either; it's fair to say it's so-so.

I couldn't find the second volume on Goodreads, so I'll also give a brief impression of the second volume here.
Compared to the first volume, I prefer the second volume more because it involves a lot of emotions between the main characters. Misunderstandings and their innocence during adolescence make this manga more colorful with a lot of emotional turmoil. However, I assume there will be a third volume because there are still many unresolved issues, such as the MC's relationship with their family and how the two main characters will finally be able to have a romantic relationship. Truly, I can't wait to see how it unfolds!

Overall, this manga is quite entertaining and I quite like it.

I love it when I randomly pick up something and it turns out to be an absolute gem!

This manga is so adorable! The concept is pretty straightforward and somewhat common but the way the story unfolds is masterful.

I love the fact how the author initially introduces the pair using the concept of the red string of fate but later on, lets their relationship develop into a much richer and intricate one, that's not simply bound by something as intangible as fate.

Both the characters are adorable and I had a great time rooting for them! My only complain is that the story is too short (only two volumes exist as of now). I would love for the author to maybe continue the story in the future.

P.S- My favorite character is the bus driver from volume 2

la historia es bastante sencilla, es apresurada, pero es lo bastante linda para que saltes de la emoción.

un detalle que me gustó es que el interés amoroso todo le salía del corazón (quiero decir que era amable y lindo pq lo miraba como alguien que admiraba y consideraba un amigo, si es así como amigo, no me imagino como será como novio) y no estaba enamorado del prota, siento que lo representa mucho como persona yyy que cuando se le confesó le dijo que lo iba a pensar seriamente, sin importar que el otro fuera un chico, I-😭😭

Un BL amb una premissa cuquíssima tot i que força suada també: el millor estudiant de l'institut apareix amb un fil vermell que el connecta amb el gamberro de la classe. Prejudicis diversos que s'esfondren quan li dona l'oportunitat de coneixe'l i després d'un malentè el defensa i per acabar-ho de rematar confessa els seus sentiments, però ens quedem amb la incògnita de la resposta fins al proper volum :3

Very wholesome and sweet. The story feels like it could have gone in a heavier direction, but volume two gets sort of light. I was kinda confused with what the story was doing. Like the red string seemed irrevalent after a bit??? I did not hate th story. The characters are freaking adorable and I could have read this forever. But its over without even a kiss....but we do get a declatration of forever love lol

Uno de los mejores mangas que he leído, es algo suave, sencillo, no profundiza en lo sexual, no profundiza en la trama o en el pasado o desarrollo de personaje, la historia existe simplemente para hacerte sentir ternura por un romance en la escuela.
