The O'Connor/O'Malley feud is still going strong... or is it?
Fledgling witch Dubheasa O'Malley fell hard for charming "Connor O'Rourke" only to discover he was her greatest enemy, Ronan O’Connor. After a single unforgettable night of passion, he snuck away, taking with him a top-secret tracking software she’d designed and bruising her heart in the process.
After spending one life-altering night with the enchanting Dubheasa, newly assigned Guardian, Ronan O’Connor is positive she’s his perfect mate—and the Fates agree. All he has to do is soothe her ruffled feathers and convince her the theft of her latest creation was to catch a ruthless, power-mad warlock determined to destroy her family and the magical community as a whole.
Bent on revenge, Loman O’Connor has his sights set on the O’Malley clan and the Guardian protecting them. He’s been amassing abilities for just this purpose, and if he can acquire the nearly invincible magic tied to his faithless son, Ronan, he’ll be strong enough to bring the witch community to its knees. And he knows exactly what tool will do it—Dubheasa O’Malley.
T.M. Cromer is a multi-award-winning sorceress of the written word and fearless architect of high-stakes paranormal romance. With a flair for twisty plots, slow burns, and swaggering heroes hot enough to scorch the page, she conjures stories that hook readers and refuse to let go. From her cozy PNW lair, flanked by two Hellhounds and an unholy amount of caffeine ambition, she weaves love, danger, and humor into every page. Whether it’s witches, sirens, or magical assassins, her characters never behave, and neither do her stories.
When she’s not dreaming up new ways to ruin her characters’ lives before crafting their HEA, she’s daydreaming about swimming with orcas or cackling over a particularly clever line of dialogue. Come for the magic, stay for the heartbreak, and maybe fall a little too hard for a man who only exists on the page.

Another great read by T.M. Cromer. Book five in the Unlucky Charms series is the one I was looking forward to most. I fell in love with Ronan’s character early on in the series and couldn’t wait for his and Dubheasa’s story. Ronan and Dubheasa along with some other familiar characters try to take down an evil threatening everyone’s happiness. A must read for any Cromer fan, I can’t wait for more from her!
I was laughing so hard in the very first chapter that I had tears running down my face. I loved this story it has laughter, romance and scenes that will have you crying. You have not written a book that I have not loved.
The fifth book in the Unlucky Charms series is as well written and entertaining as the first four books. The back and forth dialogue between Ronan and Dubheasa is witty and funny. When trouble comes, who else to call than Alexander Castor, Alistair Thorne, and Damian Dethridge!! Its amazing and somewhat amusing when well known characters cross over in series. The author does an excellent storyline.
Once again an excellent read! It leaves you wanting to read more about the other characters. Eagerly awaiting her next book(s), especially The Aether’s story.
This is a must read for all Thorne Witch fans. We get to see familar faces and a few new ones as well. It is a page turner and had me up way past my bedtime. Can't wait for the next one.
"Wine and Deadlocks by T.M Cromer is a perfect ending to the Unlucky Charms series. I loved every delicious word of this literary feast, but like every special occasion, I really hated to have to say goodbye to the exceptional book friends I made while reading this series!
As always the action, suspense and magic of this story was enthralling. I was literally glued to my seat, unable to breathe, or move, as the final battle against the evil villain, Loman, played out. Even though I knew a happily ever after ending was a guarantee with every book T.M. Cromer writes, I could not see how she could possibly resolve the corner she had written her characters into! But that's what makes T. M Cromer such a master storyteller, the last minute twist you never see coming that allows good to triumph over evil and allow everyone , (well mostly everyone), happily ever after! Again, the ending was a work of art!
Dubheasa O'Malley's refusal to except her fated destiny and determination to experience love and life on her own terms, makes her fit right in with the other heroines T. M. Cromer created for this series. Even as the youngest O'Malley and a fledgling witch, her determination to defy the Fates, the goddesses, even The Authority and Witches Council is admirable. I Couldn't help but fall in love with her and her fiery personality.
It was easy to believe that Ronan, the hero could not help but love Dubheasa, fate be d**ned! Ronan's character transformation from sworn enemy to sworn Guardian and Protector, that occurred through the course of the series, was beautifully done. It was inspiring to map his character development as I read, and made me tingle with excitement whenever he appeared in the story. You always knew that something untoward was going to happen whenever he appeared, but by the gods, he was going to miraculously succeed at his quests. A perfect hero in the end. I enjoyed the interactions between Ronan and Dubheasa; they were a perfect match!
Another perfect touch, was the snarky dialogue, T.M Cromer crafted between all the characters. It added just the right amount of humor to some very intense magic battle scenes. Even during some very steamy love scenes, it seemed to add to the picture of a group of very close but strangely matched team of magical superheroes.
I hated to say goodbye to this series but am excited to see what else T.M. Cromer has in store for those of us who have fallen in love with the O'Malleys and O'Connors.
Wow! Once again, you killed it T.M. Cromer. Desperate for more!
What an incredible way to continue the O'Malley family story. Ronan O'Connor is needing to finally end his evil father, Loman's life. Not only can the witches not locate him, but neither can the goddesses. After coming through the Otherworld twice, he is more powerful than ever.
But when Dubhesea O'Malley comes home to be with her family after living for years in America, the last person she wants to see is Ronan. He seduced her and lied about who he was. She then lost a job she loved and decided to come home. Now here he was. And to make it worse, he's following her and keeping all other men away from her.
Then he makes things worse by telling her they are mates and he will never leave her. She fights the news with all that she is, but deep down she knows it's true.
Now they have to work together with their families and friends to bring an end to Ronan's father. Can they all get through this to finally be safe, and to stop the killing of other witches?
So good!!! Incredible series and I really hope for more from all of these characters. Very fun to follow. Enjoy
Enemies to Lovers. Feisty Witches. Irish humour. Hunky men.
I mean seriously what is not to love about this series??
This has been the book I have been eagerly awaiting from this series, mainly for my favourite character Ronan to finally get the spotlight and some loving. And boy did Cromer not disappoint!
Dubheasa (not ashamed that I had to Google how to say this very early on in the reading) is a fire cracker and I adore her giving dear old Ronan the run around as he tries to win back her heart.
This was the final book in the unlucky charm series and damn if I wasn't so excited to binge it and then super sad it was over. But it did end with a bang!
Cromer's writing is just so effortlessly witty, funny and charming. And I have adored seeing that she has reached out to Irish readers to help make sure the speech was correct in her books.
This book also teased the next book and Thorne Sequel series, the Aether's and Vivian's story which has been a long time coming.
If you like fun witchy series with strong females and men that adore them, please check out this author and her work!
Lovvvvve Dubheasa and Ronan, but a more tortured couple likely can’t be found since Romeo and Juliet! Thankfully the Fates seem to have plans for them to get together, though the circumstances are quite difficult and with Ronan’s evil family very much a factor in the relationship (seriously, who wants a father in law that is attempting to steal your magical powers and then your life force????? No one, ever!) only Goddess Isis and Anu know the answer and there is still free will, in the end.
Also, throw in their friends, add in the powerful and charismatic Aether, all knowing, his adorable child the ORACLE, and then there are the added complications of other forces and their agendas, and life is quite complicated indeed…really hoping Dubheasa and Ronan make it after all they have been through.
This is a wonderfully written novel, warm and lovable main characters, powerful themes and a dynamic ending and an absolutely worthwhile read
I have loved everyone of these books. This one being where the youngest O’Malley child finds her mate in one of the O’Connor men. The love I have of the two coming together is bigger that words. It’s time for this happy ever after. But with all happily ever after stories things don’t go right at every turn and a faith in family and friends is their only hope for salvation. The story have it all. Love not just bubbling with the main characters but also the love of family and friendship, it has the heart break and the hope, sacrifice and some hellhounds of fun. And also a surprise character coming in to the mix as well. Totally worth the read.
Wine & Warlocks is a spectacular paranormal romance by T.M. Cromer. Ms. Cromer has her writing abilities on full display in this fabulous story. Dubheasa is home in Ireland after her experience with Ronan. Ronan is hot on her heels and determined to win her back. Their story is packed with drama, humor, sexy bits, action and suspense. Be prepared to laugh but keep the tissues handy too. Wine & Warlocks is book 5 of The Unlucky Charms Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger. Pssssttt...it's magically delicious.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
WOW........ when you read a series you donr expected everybook to be filled with deep emotion amazing journeys and spectacular characters. Let me just tell you that Dubheasa & Ronan’s story is another read that will captivate you in every way. YES pull the dsmn tissues our grab you a relaxing drink because trust me you can not put this one down. Just like the other books that TM Cromer writes They are will written amazing books t h.g at you wont regret reading and find that they sre great for rereads too.
Wow what an unexpected read. Boy was I wrong on parts of this story. So very very wrong. There is no way I can write the review I want because OMG the entire thing will be a spoiler. Ronan and Dubhease's read will have you on the edge of your seat. Be prepared to not be able to put the book down. Some unforeseen parts will make you ugly cry that's for sure. I still have a ton of questions and I'll have to PM T.M. Cromer because I so need clarification/answers LOL. Great read, heart stopping, and breath holding and of course the ugly tears.
This was the best one out of the series!!!!! TM has saved the best for last I tell ya. Where do I begin? First let’s just say I am in love with Ronan! He has a big soft loving heart and love’s fiercely. This story is action packed and it brings out so many emotions. It also shines light on the next series. Which by the way I want like yesterday lol. I can’t not wait to get those stories in my greedy hands. Until then…..
If only I had the blessing and talent to create stories such as this. Alas, I don’t, but I am grateful for Authors such as T. M. Cromer that do have that ability. This Has to be one of her best books to date. The deep and abiding Romance, the beautiful connection of family, the witty humor and the intense action all combine to create the story that keeps the reader totally enthralled. This book is definitely a need to read, and re-read.
It is so rare to find books that check all of the emotional moments and make you fell them along with the characters. I laughed. I cried. I found joy. This was a truly pleasurable read. If you are coming as a newbie to this book make sure you start with book 1 and read the series or better yet start with the Thorne Witches series and then this series as it’s a spinoff. They are all truly exceptional..
You’ve met the rest of the O’Malley Clan, now meet the youngest daughter, who is destined to be the wife of a sentinel, and a sentinel herself? But does she want either? This is Cromer at her best. To be honest, I skip the gratuitous sex scenes, and yes, T.M., they are gratuitous. If I wanted that, I’d read a bodice ripper. That aside, this novel is well worth your consideration.
Wow! What a roller coaster of emotions.. Another fantastic book from T.M. Cromer.. Oh, what a story is weaved in her books. You can read as stand-alone books, but why would you... Each story gives more information on the characters that enter the stories.. Each book weaves a spell on you... You get to live in the story being told.. It works its magic on you. So you want it to go on and on.. Another unmissable book to read...
TM Cromer has yet another hit on her hands! Start this family saga with the Thorne Witches series. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed with the characters and events that include a wonderful family in a supernatural world created to curl your toes and make you think you might have abilities of your own! 5**** Get started today!
The most thrilling installment in the Unlucky Charms series yet! Honest to goodness every book in this series is better than the last, but I fail to see how T.M. Cromer is going to top this one. Just like while reading Spring Magic in Cromer's Thorne Witches series, my emotions were all over the place, and, even though there was an HEA, I. Want. More!
I have fallen for all O'Malleys and most of the O'Connors. This book was an amazing read. It had sass, attitude, tragedy and a lot of action. Not to mention all of my favorite characters from other series. I hope this is not the last book in this series. Loved it.
This book brings together beloved characters and introduces new ones that are intriguing. Ronan has a past and struggles to overcome it at times. I adore the character because he is devoted and protective in spite of previous mistakes which were also made out of love. He kind of reminds me of Alastair, which wasn't in this near enough for me. The end was beautiful and moving!
What a wonderful story, great characters. I had the whole range of emotions throughout this story, anger, laughter, tears of sadness tears of joy. Please treat yourself to this wonderful series of book and if you can start from the very beginning you won't be disappointed
I have enjoyed each of these books. This one centers on Ronan and Dubheasa and their rocky relationship. When Ronan's father continues working to take the magical gifts of the O'Malleys as well as other magical persons, Ronan and Dubheasa join with others to put an end to his terror.
I love T.M.'s characters and their adventures and lives. Keep them coming.
Dubheasa was so upset with Ronan that she would not listen to his explanations about why he lied to her. Slowly over time she saw the love he had for her and she started to change her mind. But they had several people to save before they become the happy couple. Some sadness happens but well worth reading. Highly recommend this book and series
Fun and silly and warm and loving. It’s such a great gift when an author has a world built that can take you on so many adventures. I love that T.M. Cromer takes you down these paths that weave together while still being separate. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series as well as starting the others.
