Tommy had lived and died as Theseus, Icarus, Orpheus and Sisyphus. But all he wanted to be was free.
In which Tommy Soot, originally born in 1509, is cursed to be reborn, to never reach adulthood unless he figured out the Greek myth of his lifetime. He had one rule of not allowing himself to get attached to people but he would have never guessed that a foster family of the creator of Minecraft, an anime stan and a Soundcloud musician would break that rule.
Currently still reading the book and I am fucking DEVASTATED. How could you, he is literally just a little guy. That entire Tobias saga fucking broke me btw like why would u ever do that (can u tell I'm loving this)
update: i cried. woke some people up because i was cheering at a certain part. 5/5. (i loveeee found family)
I’ve read this book so many times- i’ve considered trying to make it a paperback for myself. it’s so good, the relationships are all like formed if that makes sense? it doesn’t just go ‘wilbur and tom form a relationship and now he’s part of the family woo’ he bonds with all of them differently and throughout the whole book.
One of the best bks I've read so far. The author captures the story of the young boy and paints his pain so perfectly that the reader can feel it as their own. The skills r unmatched and unique in their own right. The inability to leave the world in death and the continuation of suffering everytime, it's just *chef's kiss* Props to the author...! Wonderful piece of art...!
Fantastic story, I love the whole idea of this work and how it was implemented. It had some funny moments but all of a sudden brought me back down to reality when things got serious with Tommy's curse.
Didn't expect him to die but it was an incredible twist of events
