How to Stop Overthinking is a must-read for anyone who struggles with constant worry, racing thoughts, or anxiety. The book does an incredible job of breaking down 27 actionable strategies that help you rewire your thought patterns, calm your mind, and embrace a more peaceful life.

What I loved most is that it’s not just theory—it’s practical. Each chapter offers simple, science-backed techniques that you can apply immediately. Whether it’s mindfulness, reframing negative thoughts, or shifting your focus to the present, the book provides real solutions that actually work.

The writing is clear, engaging, and easy to follow, making it perfect for both deep thinkers and those who just need quick, effective tools to quiet their minds. If you tend to get stuck in loops of overanalyzing or second-guessing yourself, this book is a game-changer. Highly recommend!

Always time to be your best self

I liked this book so much more than the other one I read from this author about law of attraction. There are some editing issues, but overall the writing is in Engaging.

Anyone going through a hard time and dealing with severe overthinking should definitely read this book. Although there are definitely times like it might even make you feel like you’re going crazy. I loved the inspirational quotes as well because I’ve always been a huge fan of these. I like to write them down and put them on post it notes on my mirrors. The writing style in particular is unique and the pacing is on point. Also touching on a major topic of suicide really gets you engaged in the story from the get-go.

This guide offers a clear and compassionate roadmap for anyone struggling with overthinking. Layla Moons presents practical strategies in a calm, steady tone that helps the reader feel supported rather than overwhelmed. The book does an excellent job explaining how mental loops form and how small, intentional shifts can interrupt them.

What stands out most is the structure: short chapters, accessible explanations, and simple exercises that build confidence step by step. The journaling prompts and reframing techniques are especially helpful for readers who need grounded, realistic tools they can apply immediately.

A thoughtful, well-organized resource that brings both clarity and relief to anyone caught in cycles of worry or mental overload.

Did nothing for me

More of the same tropes as with most self help books. I was distracted by the typos. It's not a bad book, just not right for me.
