A nice addition to the Bound Hearts series. Though I have to admit I'm glad I read this in ebook and didn't have to carry around a book with that cover! Hello, naked butt cheeks! LOL ;) (and kudos to the cover art people at EC for using a cover model with a realistic ass)
This is the third book in Lora Leigh's Bound Hearts series. It moves on to the next set of characters, Terrie Wyman, and Jesse Wyman. Years before Terrie ran from the feelings Jesse incited in her and married his brother Thomas, who she felt was the safer of the two. Wrong, Thomas ended up being an abusive creep. Since Thomas's death, Jesse has waited for his chance with Terrie, but he wants it to be on her terms, not his. Terrie gets tired of waiting, though, and tired of him treating her like a fragile flower. And even though she knows what a relationship with him will entail (or thinks it will), she pushes the limits of his control until he can no longer hold back.
Interesting story. I thought it had a bit more depth than the previous two. A little more emotional development and exploring below the surface of the characters motivations. I think it could have been even more so to make the story more well-rounded, but it was still a good read.
There were some times when I felt some things with the characters got a little murky. By which I mean that Leigh didn't completely explain or delve into an issue and I was left feeling just a smidge unsure of something that had happened, or completely satisfied that a situation had been resolved. There seemed to be an issue with Terrie believing Jesse wanted a more dominant, less submissive bed partner (because of what Thomas told her), and Jesse had some issue where he didn't think Terrie could handle him sexually. But neither issue came out very clear to me in reading the story and I didn't think either got the attention they deserved. I just thought those things could have been better explored.
I did love the fact that Leigh mixed things up a bit sexually in this book. I loved Terrie plotting to subdue Jesse and bringing in another woman. Great idea there...though I do wish that scene had gone further. And that scene in the office with Terrie under the desk and Lucian coming in...loved it! Leigh did a good job of making this book different from the first too.
This one is probably my favorite of the series so far and I'm looking forward to reading the next book!

There has only been one weakness where Jesse Wyman is concerned and that is his late brothers wife, Terrie. He has allowed enough time to allow her to heal from the abuse she suffered under his brother, but as Terrie continues to push Jesse into making a decision where she is concerned he is worried if she realizes the beast within him that wants unleashed.
Great read, 3.75. I would have liked a bit more history on Terrie, there is some detail but not enough to satisfy my curiousity about the back story. Otherwise a page turner, plus the end opens the door for what looks to be another excellent chapter in the Bound Hearts series.

This is the third book in the Bound Hearts series, one of the many series by Lora Leigh. This series is about a group of dominant men, all members of the Trojans club, who like to share their women.
So does Jesse, the main character of Seduction. He is in love with Terrie, the widow of his younger brother Thomas (in the first two books of the series we've met his twinbrother James). But Jesse thinks she's afraid of him and his needs. He takes care of her but is not pushing her into a relationship with him because he's scared to hurt her. That's actually kinda sweet for such a dominant man. He does however dare her to seduce him whenever she's ready for him. Terrie takes the challenge and is set to seduce him into a threesome with one of her girlfriends. Because for a change she wants to give something (read love) to him instead of him giving to her. He trusts her and allows Terrie to chain him to the bed and to invite her friend Tally to pleasure him. Than there's of course no way back and she surrenders to his sexual needs.
Lora Leigh writes very fast pasted stories and the action starts immediately, so no long paragraphs about the characters' backgrounds or issues. Just fast and hot action in a very graphic language. I like that in an erotic story and in this particular one the hero and heroine were pretty sympathetic and appealing.

Terrie y Jesse, lindos ambos, ja. Desde la primera historia me gustó la personalidad de Jesse, así que esperaba que consiguiera una pareja a la medida, y lo ha hecho.
En cuanto a Terrie, me ha sorprendido bastante, por lo que se sabe de su pasado en cuanto a relaciones no la ha pasado para nada bien, y sin embargo se arriesga y busca aceptar sus propios sentimientos para lograr ser feliz y amar de una vez al hombre que desea.
Los secundarios aquí, Lucian y Tally, prometen demasiado para la historia que está por venir, será un choque lindo de ver.
Por lo pronto es una serie de libros muy entretenida, con todas sus escenas dramáticas, picantes y divertidas, obviamente recomendable.

I've wanted to read Lora Leigh's Bound Heart series for ages. Thanks to ebooks I was able to collect the series easily and could read them in order. All the books in the series tell stories of heroes who have a need to share their women with another man. The menage aspects are integral to the stories and are very well done. I've read all 11 stories released to date and have enjoyed them all. If you like your erotica in flavours other than vanilla, you'll enjoy this series!

The beginning was good but I disliked everything as the story went after that. It felt dull. I got bored. Only slight difference compared to the first-two books. The rest all the same. Should or should not I continue this series?

Esperaba la historia de Jesse xq ya había aparecido en las dos historias anteriores. Pero me llevé un chasco. No me gustó en absoluto xq solo va sobre persecución lúbrica. No hay otro gran drama subyacente y lo lamento xq la pareja en cuestión, Jesse&Terrie, parecen tener buena química, y tomando en cuenta q Terrie es la viuda del hermano de Jesse y no lo pasó bien en su primer matrimonio, podría haberse armado un buen trauma a partir de ahí. Como quedaron las cosas, no se trata de si van a la cama, sino cuándo y según las reglas de quien.
Pero, para rescatar algo, a los q gusten del menage tradicional - F/M/F - aquí lo pueden encontrar y esta autora sí es buena en plantear escenas lúbricas.

Me ha encantado el libro. Es directo y divertido, y lo cierto es que se ve que la historia de los personajes se va complicando y adquieren profundidad.
Lo más destacable del libro es que, en este caso, se seduce más al hombre que al revés y, además, dándole a probar de su propia medicina, lo que siempre anima.

This is Terri and Jesse's story. This story has a more of the Domination/submission aspects than any of the others. As I stated in an earlier review it is clear Ms. Leigh is finding her voice in this genre of romance. I did love the inventiveness of Terri's seduction of Jesse. Her turning the table on him in his office and in the bedroom was refreshing and very enjoyable. While Jesse is all dominant, alpha male he is also a very caring and compassionate person. He takes Terri offer to show him how much she loves him in stride and allows her to drive him crazy one night.
This story introduces Tally Raines. She is the bane of Jesse's existence. In this story she is his secretary. Tally is a smart mouthed woman that I think is looking for a man or men that can handle her. I do like the last chapter where she is talking to Lucian Conover and doesn't realize it is him. It is a very amusing chapter and I look forward to seeing how things work for these two.
Lucian is also introduced in this story. He is also part of the group that Jesse, James and Cole belong to. I have to wonder how dominant and alpha he will be in the next book.
For those that enjoy this genre, BDSM, this is a good addition and an enjoyable read. As always Ms. Leigh doesn't scrimp on the heat of the sex scenes. She will make you glad that it is winter so you can go outside and cool that heat burning through your system.

Quick and fun!
This was a quick, fun, sexy read by Lora Leigh! Scared of all that comes with loving Jessie, Terrie marries what she thinks is the safe brother. Unfortunately that is not the case, but after her verbally and mentally abusive husband dies Jessie and Terrie get a second chance at love, but Jessie wants to make sure Terrie can accept all of the "extras" that come with belonging to him.
I realized fairly quickly that I had read this story before but, it is such a good one that I didn't mind giving it a second go. There is nothing excessively deep about this book but that is part of the appeal. Some books are meant to just be fun.
I must say though that with all of the different combinations of buying options and reading orders it is a bit confusing and hard for someone who is a little OCD about reading things in order.

Wow! What a quickie! It was pretty good. I would have liked a little more character development, but it wasn't entirely awkward because the heroine was married to the hero's brother before he died. There were some interesting D/s situations that I didn't see coming, so that was a nice surprise.
It was good...didn't set my world on fire, but good.

I normally like Lora Leigh so I don't know what it is about the Bound Hearts series that I just can't get into. So once again we have a strong dominate man who brings out the shy repressed woman. The woman has a little bit of a naughty side and she tries all kinds of different kinky things with the man. I did like the female lead more this time than the last one. As always the sex scenes were vivid and descriptive. I just felt that the book was too much like the previous two in the series. So if you like the other books in the series you will like this one.

Phew. I always find I need to fan myself after reading one of Lora Leigh's books. She is so god damn kinky.
The books in this series are very similar due to the "Trojans" lifestyle, but it's also quite enjoyable *wink, wink* Me thinks I will have to read them all.

Jessie and Terrie's story is like watching a cat chase after a timid little mouse. Tally, Terrie's bad influence should be shot.

Another wonderful menage and HEA for the two main characters. I loved this. I recommend this book as well. I think the series could be stand alone. But with characters from each book showing up in the others, I think it best to read from the beginning.
