This one probably qualifies as my favorite Bound Hearts storyline, and maybe the best written one yet. It's almost a 5-star book for me, but not quite.
Shameless tells the story of the owner of The Club, Ian Sinclair. Ian has been friends with Dane Mattlaw for a long time, and known Dane's daughter since she was a little girl. But as Courtney grew up, Ian's feelings changed, became more sexual. He's never let himself give in to his feelings, though, even as he suspected Courtney wanted him, because he refuses to ruin her innocence with his deviant sexual nature. He did that once with another young woman and he's never forgotten what happened then. But Courtney wants Ian, forever, and she'll do anything to make him lose control. Ian may give in and take her to bed, but he won't destroy the beautiful innocent woman inside; he knows he can only take things so far...Courtney, however, has other ideas. She wants it all.
I enjoyed this book quite a bit. Ian is an interesting character with a lot of baggage. I loved reading Courtney trying to break him down. She was definitely a feisty one! Her antics were amusing. She's a bit like Tally, but not so jaded or nasty. Her personality was the perfect foil for Ian. And I also enjoyed getting to meet Khalid. I get the feeling he will be a very intriguing character.
The storyline was good as well. Two people who want each other, with great chemistry, but Ian is battling the demons of his past and Courtney must get past her good girl image. It worked for the book and I enjoyed it.
The one criticism I have - and maybe this is just me thinking this - is that as the series has progressed, it seems like Leigh gets a little less adventurous sexually. What I mean is that in the early books, it was sort of no-holds-barred. The characters explored with toys, places, etc. But in this one, we got vague references that they'd had a long night of lovin' and played with Ian's toy's. I guess I just wanted those scenes written instead of just referred to ;)
But anyway, this was a good one to read. I read it as an ebook on my comp (which is annoying to do) and I found myself wanting to keep going back and read more to see what happened between Ian and Courtney. Always a good thing when a book makes you want to read more. Thankfully, this is the last of my Bound Hearts ebooks and I can read the rest in paperback form.

Ok, it was a fun read but just a couple of questions.
What is a 'support group for men who enjoy a certain lifestyle? (Ian on The Club. Not an exact quote but close enough). I just keep imagining a group of these men sitting around in a dark room giving out their number just in case one of the thirds starts getting the urge to get a little too close to another man's woman.
It's also funny that Ian feels that Courtney can't take having two men, but doesn't think that the inflatable plug and harness with the "Rabbit" might just be a little freaky.
Also, all these guys knew each other growing up and were introduced by the "lifestyle" by their fathers. How could the whole town not know?
I would love to be a fly on the wall during that father/son conversation.
Dad-"Well son, I think it's time we had a little talk"
13 year old son- "Yeah, Dad?"
Dad- "I know you're probably starting to get urges about the opposite sex.
Son uncomfortably- "Uh, yeah"
Dad- Well there are may options, but probably the best is sharing a woman sexually with a best friend or a stranger. Your mother and I do this often and I can tell you it really brings a relationship closer with both your woman and best friend. Of course, you wouldn't actually have sex with your friend, but if you do get that feeling it is perfectly fine for you or your friend to take your wife 'hmph, back there'(moves his head backwards) there's not harm in that, not at all."
Son- "I don't know dad...with another guy? Isn't that a little weird?"
Dad-"Not at all. In fact, Jason and Derek's dad are into it too. All of your friends parents do it. I happen to know that they are getting this talk as we speak. We all agreed it was time. But you need to remember that no one else in the town can know. Here's a list.
Son- " Well, it does kind of sound like fun. Actually, I can't wait to talk about it with Jason and Derek tomorrow. It's like we have a really cool secret. And maybe sometime before too long we can start to practice on the local girls. But don't worry dad. We'll make sure no one will know."
Dad- "That's my boy, I knew you were a chip off the old block."

I absolutely love this series and this book is one of my favorite. It has everything you want in an erotic story. Great characters, hot and sensual love scenes that blow you away....
Two short stories in one book........what a treat!!
“Embraced”
The story of Sax Brogan, has been in love with Marey Dumont, who despite her feelings for him, keeps holding back because of her fear for her abusive and violent ex-husband. But when her ex attacks her, Sax allows nothing to stand in his way in protecting her.
I liked Sax a lot. He’s this total alpha male – honorable, caring and confident and likes to be sexually in charge. He slowly and carefully builds up Marey’s trust in him, which I found very admirable.
This was such an emotional love story with characters that pulled at my heartstrings. You feel their pain, fear, love and hope.
The love scenes were beautifully written, never crude and filled with emotion and sensuality.
Although this is not a long story, it’s still well-rounded with characters that are well-developed. And if the plot is almost non-existing, it doesn’t really matter…because it’s the characters that grab you.

Ian Sinclair is a complex and interesting character. He tries fighting the feelings he has for Courtney as he does not believe she will handle his sexual lifestyle.
But with Courtney’s stubbornness and determination, he does not stand a chance.
Eventually, unable to resist the temptation, they begin an intense relationship, with Ian trying to keep his control and Courtney wanting to make him lose it.
Despite people thinking Courtney is sweet and innocent, she’s quite the opposite. She’s daring, bold, adventurous and not afraid of new experiences.
Ian is controlled, wary and more cautious. He also has a dark past, which Courtney is determined to come to terms with. I did become a bit impatient with his stubbornness and holding back from something he really wanted and needed. He is also unsure if he can or wants to share Courtney with a third, as its common practice among the club’s members, Ian included.
Once again, Lora Leigh has written the most erotic, emotional and sensual love scenes – sexy, believable and beautiful.
This is one of my much loved erotica series and I can’t wait for the next book.

¿Por qué no las cinco estrellas? Esos sucesos hacia el final, realmente me dejaron con muchas ganas de pegarle unos buenos coscorrones a los protagonistas, así de simple.
Por otro lado, la construcción de la historia sigue siendo más o menos la misma que en los anteriores libros de la saga, dejando de lado que en este, la protagonista, Courtney, se presenta como una chica bastante dura que está decidida a conseguir lo que quiere, a diferencia de su contraparte, Ian, que quiere alejarse, y lo hace muy mal.
De todas formas, para mí el único que se ha salvado completamente es Khalid, y ya quiero ver su historia, esperando que consiga todo lo que se merece.
Creo que en cierto sentido estaba esperando más de Ian, y no me terminó de convencer. De todas maneras es una historia que tiene sus muy buenas escenas. Así que, recomendable.

FINAL DECISION: This book has plenty of hot sex (expected in a Bound Hearts novel) but I didn't feel the intense connection between the characters that I expected and I really didn't get Ian's reluctance. The book was good, but I have read better in this series.
THE STORY: Courtney Mattlaw has wanted Ian Sinclair since she was mere child. Now she has decided to get the man she wants. Ian has tried to protect Courtney from his wild extreme sexual lifestyle. What he doesn't know is that Courtney is not the innocent that he thinks she is and she wants nothing less than to be a part of Ian's life in all ways.
OPINION: The Bound Hearts series has more extreme sexual relationships including an emphasis on menage. This book is no different. The central conflict in this book is that Ian thinks Courtney is too innocent and because of a woman in his past who committed suicide and blamed his lifestyle, Ian doesn't want to be responsible for Courtney.
This book is smoking hot because Courtney is determined that Ian see her as a woman who is compatible with his sexual needs and thus the two are engaged in some seriously intense sexual acts. That part of this book would definitely get 5 stars. I liked how Ian and Courtney challenge one another and they have a very sexy confrontational relationship.
There were two things about this book that bothered me. First, I never really got that Ian fought so much against Courtney. In the beginning that made sense, but once the two were engaged in a sexual relationship, I couldn't buy that Ian kept thinking that Courtney was some delicate flower. At that point, his objections just didn't seem rational. Second, and perhaps because of that, I didn't get the emotional connection between these characters. Their conflicts seemed more forced and thus I felt there was less emotional intimacy.
This was a good book, but only average for this series.
WORTH MENTIONING: This book contains the heroine having sex with another man, some minor FF, and MMF menage.
CONNECTED BOOKS: SHAMELESS is the seventh book in the Bound Hearts series. This book can be read as a standalone although there are appearances by characters in the series. I've been reading these out of order and I haven't had a problem.

Again...she has done it. By she, I mean Lora Leigh. Each time I read one of her books from the Bound Heart Series, I think it can't get any better than the last one. And each time I have been wrong.
Lora Leigh has managed to weave a perfect fantasy that makes a woman really wish it was her reality.
I loved the characters in this book even better than the other books.
Ian Sinclair is the ultimate Alpha male who found his match in a woman who has loved him since she was a child. (Yes at first I was a bit iffy about that and yes, weirded out, but believe me, I got over that really quick). She is his temptation and he is her hunger.
Courtney makes you love her and love the fact that she loves Ian with all her heart unconditionally. She is a female who's even younger than the heroines in the last book(s), but she knew what she wanted and how she wanted. And she wanted Ian with a fierceness that jumped from the pages, pulled you in and made you cheer for her. Heck, it made you want to be her and in her place.
It was nice to see the women from the other books meet up in this one and conspire with one another to try and help Courtney with Ian. I loved it. I recommend this book to all who want a story filled with passion, innocence and love!
The hot love scenes are erotic and make you tremble! I just have to say I am hoping upon hope that she will also do a story for Prince Khalid. Oh my, my , my...I so want to see him in his own story. Sex appeal is at its highest in this book.
I most definitely will read this book again. It was wonderful. Now I must say the books in this series can be stand alone. But if you're like me, you will love to start at the beginning and go through each book to get the background...and believe me these books are rich in background.
I urge any and all who love menage, BDSM and D/s relationships to read this series. You won't be disappointed.

Conocimos a Ian en "Sacrifice" y el hombre define la arrogancia. Luego viene a aparecer Courtney y resultó evidente q el Ian nunca tuvo la más mínima oportunidad.
La historia es divertida xq Courtney es fuera de lo común. Ella es un vendabal; caprichosa, divertida, decidida. Es joven pero madura. Sabe lo quiere, quiere a Ian y va tras él. Está segura q ella puede conquistar al "último troyano", y hay q reconocer q tampoco Ian va y se resiste demasiado. Solo q al final, la cosa se pone un poco demasiado dramática para mi gusto y para el tono de la historia en general y luego la reconciliación me ha parecido muy artificial y bastante sosa.
Hasta ahora la serie no ha resultado demasiado profunda, pero al menos aquí me reí un poco. Fuera de eso, hacia el final decepciona, xq el último troyano se merecía caer de forma más estrepitosa.

A fast pace and smooth flowing plot grabs the reader’s attention from the very beginning with lots of suspense, excitement and passion. The reader can’t help but get caught up in this emotionally gripping tale as Courtney fights for the love that only Ian can give her and Ian fights against her every step of the way. The chemistry between Courtney and Ian scorch the reader with fiery intensity and the frequent sex scenes including anal and mfm scenes and some ff play burn with white hot passion that no reader can resist. But the relationship is what captures the heart as a young woman who knows what she wants and has from a very young age tries to give Ian his heart back after his years of convincing everyone that he doesn’t have one.
The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to life ensuring that the strong compelling characters draw the reader deep into the story. Courtney’s antics has her fitting right in with the wives of the ‘Trojans’ and provides quite a few chuckles as the males scratch their heads in wonder, especially Ian. A fast pace and smooth flowing plot grabs the reader’s attention from the very beginning with lots of suspense, excitement and passion. The reader can’t help but get caught up in this emotionally gripping tale as Courtney fights for the love that only Ian can give her and Ian fights against her every step of the way. The chemistry between Courtney and Ian scorch the reader with fiery intensity and the frequent sex scenes including anal and mfm scenes and some ff play burn with white hot passion that no reader can resist. But the relationship is what captures the heart as a young woman who knows what she wants and has from a very young age tries to give Ian his heart back after his years of convincing everyone that he doesn’t have one.
The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to life ensuring that the strong compelling characters draw the reader deep into the story. Courtney’s antics has her fitting right in with the wives of the ‘Trojans’ and provides quite a few chuckles as the males scratch their heads in wonder, especially Ian. 4 ½ Stars! ~ Our hero, Ian, has his hands full when his best friend asks him to watch out for his daughter. Courtney's been in love with Ian forever, and now she's ready to show Ian that she is everything he's ever dreamed of. This one is my favourite so far in the Bound Heart series. I love how Courtney has Ian off balance.

Each book in this series is a standalone, which is great when you want a bit of kink with a storyline. ;-)

What can I say about Ian Sinclair? He is and has been my favorite of the Trojans. He is the most dominant of all the men introduced so far. He is also the most compassionate and loyal. The icing on the cake is that he is a troubled hero. His past is holding him back from loving Courtney and it almost destroys Courtney before he comes to his senses. The Last scene in Ian's bedroom is probably the best in the whole book. I love how Courtney's Mother takes both Ian and Courtney's Dad down a peg or two for their outrageous behavior. I also loved how Khalid took Mrs. Mattlaw's side. It was so great. I will warn readers that there is a small f/f scene it is used to push Ian to sharing Courtney.
Courtney is probably one of the more likable heroines in this series. She is a wild child and has a smart mouth sometimes. She is more than willing to do what she needs to in order to get Ian to admit he loves her. She is funny and she develops a friendship with Khalid and the Sexy Six.
This is where Khalid is introduced. He is so very sexy and willing to help in anyway he can to bring about Ian's downfall. I love his sense of humor. I am looking forward to reading his book soon. Cameron Fallady is also introduced in this book.
We get a look at the Sexy Six. These are ladies that have already married one of the Trojans. They are lead by Tally Conover. It is funny to see them all get together and plot the downfall of Ian.
Finally I would keep Kleenex handy because there are some scenes that had me crying. As always Ms. Leigh writes for very imaginative and steaming hot love scenes. I would suggest keeping a fan or glass of ice water handy. This is in my opinion the best book of this series so far.

Clearly some people have no idea how to enjoy sex and the characters in all of Ms Leighs stories are some of them .Instead of actually stopping to enjoy the so called erotic delights all her heroines want "more" ..." I need MORE" "I want MORE" ..jeez have some patience and learn to appreciate the sensual journey along the way.No wonder fast food is so popular in America !!
This is my third and very last Lora Leigh.This author is not for me .If I read the words "depraved" "pervert" or "innocence"once more I'm going to scream.So we have a club full of men who like to get it on with a third ....hardly "depraved" and for all the "terrible" "going to hell" scenarios it all amounts to a bit of anal with a chum.Every book seems the same ....main hero falls for heroine and then they add a third *yawn* .As for the so called poor little innocent in this one ....she's 25 knows exactly what she's getting in to and can't wait and in fact has been watching said threesomes since she was a young teen .She also happens to have purchased a blow up anal butt plug AND lube .Gosh the poor little naive soul ...NOT.We keep being promised that she will regret the level of depravity these men will take her to and then .....they just DP her with tenderness .Like very bad harlequin novels with unrealistic scenarios and OTT sex descriptions.

I liked this one too, different story from the previous in the series where we find the woman after the man. Courtney adored Ian from afar even when she was still a little girl. Ian was fond of her likewise, but as she grew up, the attraction they both feel for each other intensified.
I liked Courtney, she's someone who knows what she wants and I didn't even mind the age gap. They're perfect for each other, it was great she got to meet the Trojans' wives. I also liked Ian's story, how he vowed he would never hurt another innocent because the past still haunts him. Courtney may seem childish at times but all for good reason, and though Ian stayed away from her, I'm glad how they ended up together.
It was terrible the way Dane found them out but it was also good that Marguerite was there to buffer things. I won't go into the details of how sizzling the sex was, there's the usual teasing, bondage, spanking, and I'm glad for a bit of f-f-m. I haven't read all her novels yet, but I hope there's more f-f-m somewhere. This is just a short read, fast-paced and enjoyable, and again in a short span of time, the author managed to put all the elements of a good story here.

I loved the twist on this bound hearts story. The girl went after the guy knowing exactly what he was and what she wanted.
Ian and Courtney's father are best friends and worked together to rescue kidnapped courtney and her mother. As a teenager Courtney would spy on Ian doodling her maid with her body guard when he came to visit. Ian is the owner of The Club, a secret menage club. It only made her attraction to him stronger. In her early twenties she realizes that Ian Sinclair is the only man who does it for her so she set off to seduce him. (Ok, Ian is 11 years older, but courtney's mom is 10 years younger than her father-- still trying to figure out how old dad is!)
I started bound hearts with later boooks and Courtney is the instigator. SHe loves to cause trouble for The Trojans of The Club so it was such fun to see how her story began. It totally lived up to my expectations!

Ian is a reluctant Alpha male and we can understand why. His friendship with Courtney´s dad, makes him hold back even though he wants her.
Courtney is a snappy little smart ass who knows what she wants and knows how to drive him crazy. When she teams up with Khalid to tease him, sparks fly. I love how possesive Ian gets.
The scene where the parents walk in is unfortunately too similar to a scene in the 1st book of this series and the girls dad turns out to be quite a hypocrite.
I did not like the beginning of the book, when Courtney is with her best friend Sebastian, and I did not like the ending, how long does it take Ian to go and get his woman!?

So far I've really enjoyed this series but have found nothing special about the female characters, UNTIL NOW.
Not only has Lora delivered on the hottest book of the series so far, but she's also spoilt us with a more complex female character who knows how to have as much fun as the boys. Don't worry peeps, nothing's been taken away from the much loved men of the Bound series. They're as hot and smooth as they've always been.
It might just be me and the fact that I enjoyed the book so much, but I also think the writing outside of the 'oh so sexual' scenes was more in depth, less of a statement and much more enjoyable to read.
An absolute must read.

I did think Courtney was immature and I didn't understand how she knew what she wanted even with her limited experiences. personally I think it would have been better if she'd had experimented more.
Ian was very controlling, which is in his nature but he continued to treated Courtney as a child. Which on one hand I kinda understood.
I was so annoyed with Ian when he didn't admit he actually loved Courtney I was furious when he came and said she'd hurt his feelings. At first I though Courtney was just going to cave in but I'm glad she didn't.

I really liked this one. I loved that Courtney knew exactly what she wanted. It was a little freaky that she already lusted after Ian at 17 and that he was doing his darndest to stay the heck away from her, lol. But he is not as old as her dad, so the age difference didn't freak me out. Besides, this was happening when she was in her 20s now, so she's old enough to know what she wants. I found it hilarious that Ian was so afraid of her.

Having read a few in the series that come after Courtney finally wins Ian, it was fun to finally read their story and see how the came to be together. This story fleshed out the Khalid character more for me; which is good since I am now reading his story and how he falls for Marty. It might make for a more enjoyable read if the books in this Bound Hearts series are read in order. At least that is what I am finding now. hahaha.

Sometimes age is not an issue when it comes to live. The main characters of this story have to learn to look towards the future and let the past go. As we get older, sometimes we can look back on past events and see them differently. That's what Ian had to do to be able to claim Courtney. He had to let got of his past tragedy and allow himself to accept who and what he always was. Another good story in this series.

This was my least favorite of the series so far. I thought all the references regarding Courtney's "innocence" were over the top. This wasn't as engaging for me and I didn't really care about Ian or Courtney. I have the next one in the series to read, but if I don't like it, I think I'm done with Ms. Leigh.

Courtney and Ian are together. The parallels between Courtney and her mother's life was rather amusing. I did like Courtney chasing after Ian, it's quite the fun watching him resist. So far, it's been mostly the guys trying to convince the girl it's okay. I like Ian. I love his club. I kind of wish I could just watch what is going on there.

Wow! Awesome book...Courtney and Ian...Khalid too. Ian is lost and thinks love for him doesn't exist, courtney has loved him since she was a child. Dane and Marguerita, Courtney's parents, ask Ian to look after her while she is in America. Ian thinks he is too old, 11 years older, for Courtney and Courtney along with the help of Khalid proves to him she is not that innocent.
