Welcome to Little Cakes, the bakery that plays Daddy matchmaker!

First impressions don’t have to be everything, right?

Officer Avery Reynolds knows she’s blown it when the driver she pulls over for a broken tail light turns out to be the police captain. Forced to work with her new boss during the craziness of Halloween night, she tries to fight her attraction to the charismatic man who seems to see right through her professional persona.

Trace Barnes knows cops so well he can spot both the good and bad ones instantly. Avery, however, intrigues him. She’s an incredible asset to his police force, but there’s something special about her. Behind her professional mask, Trace knows she's hiding a secret that rivals his own, if only he can dig deep enough to confirm it.

A great read, memorable characters and wonderful Daddy and Little finding each other
Who would have believed that when Officer Avery Reynolds had pulled over a car because it tail light was out it would be a moment that would irrevocably change her life forever and this was because that man driving the car was her new boss Trace Barnes, he is about to start working in her police station as awaited police captain.
When she realises who the driver is as he introduces himself and also takes into consideration her Halloween Gothic look was quite becoming, she had forgotten all about the Witch’s Brew cake she had eaten from acclaimed Little Cakes store. The purple and black frosting had left her with a black and purple tongue and lips and as it was Halloween week were selling like hot cakes.
Captain Trace Barnes cannot get the police office out of his mind he just knew as soon as he met her even though it had been only moments that she was the woman he’d searched for as long as he could recall.
Trace is aware that he has to tread carefully with Avery as it is obvious that she has been hurt in the past and also there is the fact that they are working together and she has worked extremely hard to have achieved her position as Detective in the department and does not want to lose the credibility she’s gained because of who she is dating.
This is a simply captivating read and you will be blown away by the budding relationship between her Daddy and his new Little, I guarantee that you will not be able to put this book down until you discover the outcome of this wonderful couple.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

I'm terrible at just downloading books by being drawn to a cover. I also love anything witchy and Halloween, so I one clicked without reading any blurb. I will start by saying I usually like the whole dom/sub relationship thing from time to time, but this daddy and little girl role play wasn't for me. I cringed and was glad to see it end, even when it did end quite quickly. I just couldn't get passed a well educated detective turned little baby girl, sleeping in a crib, wearing diapers, watching cartoons, and acting like a baby was a turn on, it was just a weird fetish. I know it may appeal to some, but it wasn't for me.
The Halloween element was quite a small element in the book, it was over pretty quickly. The detective side wasn't really a big part, I would have liked more on that. Why did the perp steel the files, was he working alone? The elements I liked were short lived unfortunately.
All in all, the writing was okay, the editing was okay, it was just that the story wasn't for me this time. It may teach me to read blurbs before jumping in head first.

I swear these books get cuter and sweeter as the series continues.

There really must be something in the frosting at Little Cakes because Daddies and Littles always seem to find each other.

For sweet Avery it all started with a traffic stop, of her new boss. For Trace, that traffic stop told him everything he needed to know.

Avery did every thing she could to deny the connection because of her job but in the end, you just can't fight destiny.

This terrific series just never disappoints. Avery and Trace's dd/lg romance was fun, sweet, steamy, cute, emotional and filled with heart. This book delivers the perfect combination of sizzle and swoon to have you falling hard with a huge smile on your face. I loved it and can't wait for the next entry in this iridescent series. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.

It’s Halloween, and Detective Avery Reynolds has discovered her favorite cupcake flavor, witch’s brew! Unfortunately she also discovered it turns your lips and tongue black . . . which may not lead to the best first impression when you end up pulling your new boss over for a traffic stop!

Police Captain Trace Barnes is intrigued from the moment he lays eyes on Avery . . . and her black lips! He knows there is something incredibly special about het. But, Avery’s nervous that others will see her as less than professional if she is caught spending time with the handsome captain. Can Trace help Avery move past those fears, or will she be afraid to be herself in fears that her colleagues will think less of her?

Witch’s Brew was the perfect taste for the Fall season! This couple was incredibly cute as they navigated their new Daddy / little girl relationship. It’s so clear that Avery has worked hard for everything she has achieved, especially being a woman in a job typically held by men. I loved how Trace showed his caring nature by always listening to Avery’s concerns and helping her work through them while making sure she also had what she needed while also proving to her just how much he and her colleagues believed in her skills and professionalism while on the job.

There are some fun and sweet moments when Avery gives in to her little nature, which was heartwarming making Witch’s Brew a real treat to read. 4 stars!

Another delicious delight served up by the authors, featuring the friends of Little Cakes. This time it’s Avery’s turn to maybe find her forever Daddy. When she first meets Trace it is bit of a tricky situation in that she is not looking her best and to make matters worse he is her new boss! Aside from that it is an instant mutual attraction that leads to a romance that is fraught with workplace problems and at home sweetness. Captain Trace Barnes chooses the only course of action he can, no subterfuge and full disclosure while Avery would much prefer to keep things on the QT. A very sweet story that will bring joy to your heart and heat to your loins. If this is your first Little Cakes story I guarantee you it won’t be your last. There is a line in the first chapter of this book that really tells you of the aura that surrounds the Little Cakes cupcake store, “Little Cakes had a way of sprinkling magic on everyone who entered “. Read them all, it doesn’t matter what order, and enjoy all the sweet flavors. 5 Stars

Witch's Brew by Pepper North and Paige Michaels is the seventh book in the Little Cakes series and it was such spooky cute fun!

I adore Avery! She's everything I thought she'd be and more. Sweet and strong and resilient and just looking to love and be loved in turn, being accepted for who she is, what she wants, getting what she deserves.

And Trace? Well hello, sir! Competent, capable, commanding, and with a whole lot of give to the right person, seeing his caring attitude as he falls in love was so delightful and endearing to witness.

This story is all about acceptance, about overcoming preconceived notions, about learning who you truly are and that it's okay to be that person. Watching Avery and Trace explore their connection is sweet, is hot, and is full of chemistry!

With a little intrigue and mystery, along with a whole lot of fun, what more could you ask for as these two people meant for one another navigate their new lives together?! So, dive on in; time to have your cake and eat it too!

P. S. I seriously want me a Little Cakes cupcake! I honestly don't know which flavor I'd choose. Probably all!

I LOVE this series more and more, with each couple, and each book 💕💕 The ONLY thing that could possibly make it even better is if we could eat the cupcakes 🧁 too ☺️😉 Trace and Avery are a fantastic Daddy and Little 💜 I really enjoyed their story 🤩🌷
Officer Avery Reynolds decides to try a brand new cupcake flavor at Little Cakes 🧁 It’s called Witch’s Brew. According to Little Cakes owner, Ellie, it turns your mouth and lips black 🖤 Eating the delicious cupcake, on her shift, probably wasn’t Avery’s best idea. There are a ton of jokes about her being a zombie cop, since it’s Halloween 🎃 When she goes to pull over a man, with a broken taillight, Avery finds out he is going to be her new boss. She is so embarrassed, thinking she didn’t make a very good impression. Trace seems smitten with Avery and is very protective, also observing her. Trace thinks Avery would make his perfect Little girl. She likes him, too, but between what happened with her last Daddy and Trace being her boss, she’s hesitant. Can Trace ease Avery’s mind…..
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK 💜💕

Paige Michaels and Pepper North have brought us another tasty treat in Witch's Brew, Little Cakes Book 7.
Avery is a great cop and she is also a Little. Being a woman she has had to fight harder to prove her worth. Avery hides her Little self because she does not want people to think she is not strong enough to do her job.
Trace is the new captain of the Department and has been searching for his forever Little girl.
When Trace is pulled over by Avery and her partner Wyatt he knows he has found his one but Avery tries to fight the attraction because she is afraid it will affect her position.
Trace sets out to prove that he sees all sides of her and wants it all.
This is such a sweet story that shows just because you may be a Little you can do and be whatever they want to be with the love and support of the right Daddy.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest Review.

I absolutely loved this book it was yummy, the authors Paige Michael's and Pepper North has outdone themselves on this story, and a thank you for bringing these characters to life and into our homes. Avery is a Detective and for morning tea she wanted a cup cake, she teaches self-defence classes for free for all the Littles, so any time she goes to Little Cakes it's free that's when she got one called Witch's Brew she loved it. While she was on duty she pulled over a car the driver was very compliant, she wanted him to be aware of his break light not working he stirred her about her lipstick, she found him attractive and started fumbling with her words. Trace is the new Captain and wants to get to know his colleagues and when he sees her, his mind cannot think of anything else but her. This was one book that I will be reading again this whole series has been like that.

Avery is a hard working and respected detective. She is also a Little girl who dreams of finding a Daddy. When she pulls over a man during a routine traffic stop, she realizes she has just stopped her new boss, Captain Trace Barnes. He isn't upset, but intrigued by Avery. When they run into each other again, and she hides then flees, he realizes not only is she Little, but she just may be the woman he has searched high and low for. Will their relationship survive the scrutiny?

Pepper North and Paige Michaels have teamed up once more for this seventh book in the Little Cakes series, which has been a pleasure to read. The main characters are like good friends, and utterly believable. Centered around the Little Cakes Bakery, all of the characters are fun to revisit. This book is a good read that is not to be missed. It is well worth one clicking today.

I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Police Officer Avery Reynolds knows she's blown it when the driver she pulls over for a broken tail light is the new police captain. Forced to work with him during the annual craziness of Halloween night, she tries to fight her attraction to the man who sees right through her professional persona. Trace Barnes has the experience and skills to be able to spot a good cop from a bad one instantly. Avery intrigues him as she is a great assess to the force but behind her professional mask, she is a Little needing a Daddy like him to care for her if only she would cross the line.

I loved this story which had the complication of a boss/staff relationship, a DDLG relationship and instances of missing paperwork in the station. It was a great story with all the thoughts and feelings being analysed and countered as well as a real mystery to solve. It was easy to read and understand with plenty of fun tender moments added. Contains mature content of a BDSM DDLG nature.

This book was part of the Little Cakes series. I wanted to like this book but I felt that it wasn’t to my liking. This story was about a woman named Avery Reynolds. She is an officer. She is a Little which she doesn’t share with just anyone.

Avery pulls over a guy because of a broken taillight. He turns out to be the police captain Trace Barnes. When he meets Avery he is instantly intrigued. She’s an asset to his police force and he takes a liking to her. Trace knows behind her professional facade she hides a secret. He bumps into Avery at the BDSM club in town which she realizes that he is Trace standing in front of her. She takes off running to her car. He ends up realizing that she is a Little. This book was too much. Trace kept telling her “I’m your Daddy”, “that’s what Daddies do”. She would keep calling him Daddy every time she turned around. It was like ….Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy. He also kept calling her Little Girl. It just got to be too much as I was reading.

This is the next story in Little Cakes Series about littles who fall in love and find their forever daddies. Avery has always known she's a little, but as a tough cop and a woman, she has to work extra hard to show everyone she's an equal. While doing a routine traffic stop she doesn't realize she's about to get more than she bargained for. Pulling over your new boss probably isn't the best introduction. Trace Barnes is the new Police Captain and he knows how to run a station and can tell who is good and who is not. When he meets Avery he knows he's not about to let her go. The problem she can't let her feeling go and she will fight tooth and nail for what's right in front of her. Can he show her that he can be her daddy at home and her boss at work? Or will she walk away from something amazing?

Zombie Lips and Captain Kisses

I’m not going to lie when I tell you I took a chance on this book for the adorable cupcake aesthetic; who doesn’t love themed eating?! As I dove deeper into this sweet story it took me to a place in romance that certainly has not been my wheelhouse, but I had a wonderful time nonetheless. The emotional connection across characters and the connectivity to the remaining stories was endearing, but also allowed me to read as a stand alone; of course NOW having met these adorable littles, I can’t say I’m not curious to see how Little Cakes humble beginnings came forth.

Silver foxes, zombie lip inducing cupcakes and relationship vulnerability? Check, check and check! If you’re looking for an adorable friends to lovers Dd/lg series with a sweet tooth, Little Cakes is the series for you!

Avery Richards has been looking for her Daddy. Seeing all the other Little's at Little Cakes finding their Daddy was depressing. Even her partner Wyatt found his little. When she makes a routine stop of a vehicle, she certainly didn’t expect it to be her new boss Trace Barnes. Trace is a silver fox and has been looking for his little for a while. He knew as soon as he saw Avery that she was the one. He just has to show her that he isn’t like her ex. Avery find that she needs to trust her Daddy to move forward. I love Trace. He is great. Not only is he a sexy silver fox but he so cares for Avery. All the little's at Little Cakes are thrilled. I can’t wait to find out what happens with CC in Pumpkin Spice.

Another unforgettable couple matched with cupcakes.

I love how open and fundamentally sweet the Littles in this series are. Avery is no exception even if she is the best bad*ss woman detective in the squad room. Under the guidance of her Daddy, she flourishes and becomes a better version of herself. Less stressed due to better quality Little time and more productive at work because of the TLC she receives at home.

A small mystery that is misconstrued leads to Avery feeling suspicious and professionally insecure. This was a twist I did not expect.

Things move pretty fast between Avery and Trace, but then, 'Daddy is in charge' and he has been waiting his whole life for his special Little, to love, cherish and cuddle.

Avery is a woman who is committed to her career and proves herself every day. Her partner on the force knows that she is a great officer and still a wary Little. Trace never imagined that taking the Captain's position would bring him everything he wanted and was missing. They are perfect for each other. Avery's nerves and some issues at the station are the only drama. The rest is all friendship, giggles, a cupcake that knows how to leave a mark and a great developing DDlg relationship. Avery gets wound up tight but Trace knows how to let her find her Little space. I really enjoyed their story. Pumpkin Spice is next and I'm looking forward to it. I know CC's story is going to pull at my heart

Witch’s Brew is the seventh book in the Little Cakes series, but reads well as a stand alone.
Avery thinks she makes a bad first impression on her new boss, but Trace knows instantly that she’s his Little. But between the chaos of Halloween and the stress of a new workplace relationship, will Avery give Trace a chance and open up her heart to love?

Oh my goodness, this book was so cute! I am absolutely adoring every book in this series so far, and this was such a fun addition! Avery and Trace absolutely stole my heart and attention as I read through their story, and I loved their connection they form right from the very beginning. Avery is so bold and confident in her work and career, but so timid when it comes to matters of the heart. She’s been burned before, so it’s really hard to trust, especially when it comes to being a woman in a male-dominated career field. Trace was so kind and gentle and loving with her, though. He tried to protect her the best he could at both their job and at home, and I loved that he showed his trust in both locations, too. He was a great Daddy. I loved their connection and their passion and there were lots of age-play scenes. I liked the little bits of drama peppered throughout the book, too! This was a great read and I’m so looking forward to the next book in the series!

The new police chief never realized he would meet his little

Avery, a police officer and detective, pulled over Trace for a burnt tail light. She didn't know that he was her new boss. She gave him a verbal warning about getting it fixed. He thanked her and then told her who he was.
It's Halloween, and he is about to Starr his new job. He bumps into Avery a few more times. He knows she's a little. He's been looking for a long time.
Avery has always known that she was a little, but her past Daddy was mean and abusive.
Trace has to get past her fears and insecurities to claim her as his little.
Great story of this strong man who has patience and a lot of love for his Little girl.
Another great story by Paige Michaels and Pepper North

This story is about a Little who learns that she can be strong and capable at work while still relying on her Daddy without looking weak. The way the cupcake of the month immediately plays a role in the story is hilarious (and totally something that would happen to me)!

Avery is a great detective who always tries to do her best and show no weakness, fearing she needs to constantly prove herself. She runs into her dominant Daddy boss over and over before he’s even officially working. He makes Avery want to slip out of her cop persona, but she’s having a hard time letting go. I love that Trace is gentle, but firm and no-nonsense while very much by the book.

Tasty treats are brewing at Little Cakes... We've all been waiting for this moment. We all knew she was little and we all wanted her to find Daddy so badly - well it's finally happened. Only, he's her boss and she's scared. The fact that she pulled him over without realising who he was didn't exactly start her on the right foot. Add to that her fear of losing respect, and her fear of losing him and there is tension of various sorts brewing.

But in the Little Cakes world, nothing can't be fixed with a purple and black Halloween Witches Brew cupcake. So grab your fave treat and settle in for a great Little spooky seasonal read.

Who are Avery and Trace? What does each do for a living? How do they meet or know one another? What happens when Avery goes to Blaze for a party? What kind of party is it? What happpens at work that freaks her out at Blae? What happens when Avery and Wyatt leave the office to go get someone? Who is Ed and what does he do that really irritates me? What keeps happening to Avery at work and then happens to Wyatt? What does the duo suspect and to whom do they speak to about it? When Ed shows up, things get a bit more interesting again. How does Avery respond to a remark Ed makes that I felt could have been snarky-ish? I cannot wait for the next book!

Officer Avery Reynolds is partners with Wyatt who is daddy and while on patrol they spot an out of town car with a missing tail light and Avery gets out to just give them a warning and when Avery gets his information she finds out he is the new Police Chief Trace Barnes. Later the evening when she is at Blaze she recognizes his voice and decides to leave because she does not want him to find out she is a Little and can’t do her job. When she gets ready for her daily run the next morning he is there to run with her because he knew the minute he saw her she was his Little he had been searching for. Now you will have to read and see if they get together because he is her boss. Enjoy

Avery is a policewoman whose had to fight her way in a man's world. A routine pull-over of a motorist with a taillight out tips her world upside down. Complete with black lips after eating the latest Halloween cupcake creation from Little Cakes she learns the motorist is none other than her new boss - and he's a Daddy to her Little.
Avery and Trace's story is as sugar sweet as the cupcakes the series is wrapped around. A light and beautiful read I highly recommend not only this book but the entire series.

This little series just gets better with each book. Avery is a police officer and when she stops Trace for a taillight infraction, she finds out he is her new boss!!! Embarrassing!!! Trace is smitten and so is she but will they have to hide their feelings because of their attraction to each other? I just loved this so much and it's really hard to not say anything without giving it away! Pepper and Paige need to just continue to write together because they do it so well!!! Each story takes us on an adventure and you never know what's going to happen!!!

LOVED LOVED this one so much!!! Another winner in the Little Cakes series!
I'm so happy to read Avery's story and Trace is the PERFECT daddy for her! But just so happens he is her boss! That doesn't deter him and he's not letting Avery go that easily. I love how he let's Avery explore her Little side but acknowledges her at work as well.
And of course mentions about Ellie and others made me smile. And of course the chemistry between these two was hot.
Do yourself a favor and grab this one now, you won't regret it!

zombie cop

Avery is a Detective on the Police Department during the work day and a closet Little off duty.
She is afraid of getting back out there because of a past relationship.
In walks a sexy hot Alpha Daddy who has his eye on Avery and no one else.
They have a lot of hardships to overcome because he is now her boss and she does not want to have the other detectives think she is getting special treatment because of them dating.
Another cute cupcake story with adorable characters.

I read an early review copy of this book for an honest review.

Against the wall and spread 'em!

This story about cop Avery and her new captain, Trace gives an interesting look into dating your coworkers. All these stories seem to move very quickly, and this was no different- but this is another sweet treat. Predictably their relationship seems to get resolved quickly, as does her standing with her coworkers, but the whole catching the crimal swiping important evidence never gets resolved. We're left hanging. Also their favorite cupcake is only seasonal. So what do they get the rest of the year?
