Book 4 - Chai, Chai Again
The people of Pebble Cove are thrown into a forced hibernation when the worst snowstorm in a decade hits the Oregon Coast. They expect to find damages once the snow thaws, but a frozen body down by the pier comes as a terrible surprise.

Rosemary is keeping warm with an abundance of chai tea, wooly sweaters, and further research into Asher's past. But when a second body is found, she can't deny the chilling thoughts that the two deaths might be connected. Or that this might not be the end.

Book 5 - Dazed and Infused
Two women wash up on the beach in front of Rosemary's tea shop. One is dead. The other is wounded and can't even remember her name. Is she also a victim or the killer?

When it becomes clear that the only souls who can help solve this mystery are those of the ghostly persuasion, Rosemary has to get involved. She must identify the killer before they strike again.

Book 6 - Not by Oolong Shot
High up in the cliffs behind the town of Pebble Cove, a haunted house looks out over the ocean. When the cursed house sells after sitting vacant for decades, the locals are concerned. Horrible things happened there.

The buyers, triplet brothers famous for their house-flipping television show, are dismissive of the town's warnings. When history repeats itself and one of them dies, who's to blame?

Hired to cater for the crew, Rosemary is first on-site to find the grisly scene. Her instincts tell her that there's more to this murder than meets the eye, and along with her ghostly friends, she's the only one who can uncover the truth.

Eryn Scott is the author of heartwarming cozy mysteries. Her novels feature close friendships and strong families because those are the most important things in her life -- a little humor doesn't hurt either.

She calls the Pacific Northwest home and doesn't plan on changing that anytime soon. Eryn loves to hike, horseback ride, knit, ski, and read. She believes musicals are the greatest thing since lattes, even though she's not particularly good at singing or dancing -- hey, a girl can dream, right?

Her first cozy mystery series, Pepper Brooks, is based on some of the greats in classic literature. Each book features a different author from Shakespeare to Austen. Eryn's newest series is set in a little town called Stoneybrook. The Stoneybrook Mysteries follow local jam-maker Hadley James as she solves mysteries in her town's year-round farmers market. From deceased knitters to sabotaged florists, these crafty citizens keep Hadley and her twin brother, a deputy sheriff, on their toes. Pebble Cove Teahouse Mysteries are great for readers who love a hint of paranormal with their mysteries. These books feature a tiny town tucked between craggy coastline and rocky shores with quirky characters of both the living and non-living variety. Look for new releases from all three of these series in 2022 as well as Eryn Scott's new cozy series.

Book 4
I have a lot of thoughts about this installment but a few of them tread on spoiler territory so I'll tread lightly.

As with the previous books, this one recaps you on all the characters, so it could be read as a stand alone if it weren't for the fact that it gives away previous mysteries, I highly suggest you start at book one.

For me, from the very beginning of the book is was clear what why the killer was killing/what the pattern was, and who the two main suspects were, but I kept doubting my thoughts because Rosemary was so bend on it being (view spoiler). For many chapters I was yelling at her, WHY AREN'T YOU SEEING THESE CLUES THAT ARE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. For a smart girl, she was very unobservant in this book, compared to the previous three. I had to remind myself she is still young. lmao

I feel so much for her as a person, and I hope in the next two books we can see some more of this major character growth. Each book has her coming more into herself, and discovering her own bit of self confidence.

Though the way she chose to bow down to her mom without raising her concerns when mom decided to move in on her town really hit me in the feels. She is trying to hard to become an independent adult, but still not there yet when it comes to tell her overbearing mom to stop snooping & get her own happy ending. (view spoiler) Rosemary should have asked her to leave, or at the very least called her out on her behavior if mom was going to act like that.

To top that, she still has no friends that are alive, and has made up a whole person?!? to make it more normal that she is spending all of her time speaking with ghosts. I think this affects me so much because I totally remember being an introvert in college, and had there been ghosts to talk to I might never have branched out and made friends. I will be very sad for her if this series ends with her still friendless. (It would be big weird if she fell in love all of a sudden, but I hope for friendships.) The parts of this book that had her (view spoiler on goodreads) made me cringe. He is dead.

That being said, I do love that these books are really two mysteries, one helping a ghost cross over, and the other being an in town murder mystery. Plus the no romance plot has me so giddy. So hard to find cozies that don't have insta love.

I loved getting to know more of the town, and seeing Rosemary become more of a regular, helping new comers fit in as well. She is so empathetic and really has brought a great deal to the sleepy town of Pebble Cove.

Overall, this series has been one of my favorites to read in a long while, and I recommend it to anyone who loves cozies with a touch of paranormal. It has a great cross book plot arc that is Asher's mystery, and a fantastic main character growth arc.

Book 5
*squeals in spoilers*

The ending of this book was so much perfection! EEEK! But I can't gush about any of it because it's all spoilery.

Rosemary finds herself tangled in yet another case to Asher's dismay. Through out discovering who Hope really is, she also learns a thing or two about herself. With each book it feels more and more like we're building to a heartbreaking bittersweet ending of the Rosemary and Asher duo. I mean I keep thinking with each book, this guy has to move on at some point, or does he?

The advancements in his own death investigation are also eye opening, but less informative than I would have hoped. While I was hoping Rosemary would get more out of her time at the spoiler, I'm glad it at least gave them a few answers.

In this book, we get to know more about how the ghosts operate, and explore more of Rosemary's ability. I really enjoy the fact that Rosemary's friend circle is becoming more and more live people, in the last book I was starting to feel a bit sad that all of her friends were dead.

You'll love this story if you're open to paranormal lite, and love stories that end with many of the characters having self growth.

Book 6
I am dragging my feet on reading the last books in this series because I in no way want it to end.

Rosemary arrived at Pebble Cove lost and lonely, but with each installment she gains confidences, and a found family that spans a towns worth of characters. I adored the growth in this book, it's realistic, and feels as if it's happening in real time. The emotional depth is well laid out, and doesn't just focus on the main character. Many of the side characters have been experiencing their own emotional arcs, which is always squeal worthy for me.

The mystery in this tale was a bit of a strange one, while it all wraps up as a solid never saw that coming in the end. It left me hoping these famous people / tourists would just leave Pebble Cove alone already. ha! I love how the ghosts have their own mystery that interlocks with the livings mystery, makes it feel like I'm getting two cases out of every book. Discovering the town past through the dead also brings a lot more depth to the place, makes it feel like it's a living place, not just a setting for a story.

Asher and Rosemary are such a dynamic duo, but I am thrilled about discoveries that happen throughout this book and can't wait to see how they are all wrapped up as the series comes to a close. Callie is the perfect addition to the cast, love what her personality brought to this book.

If you love your cozies with a splash of personal growth, and a dash of low - no romance, you're going to adore this series.

this series has everything cozy!

Wow. What an amazingly cozy murder mystery compete with helpful ghosts and a welcoming town full of interesting people. I would love to hear more about the Rucksters confidants I bet he know even more secrets lol I was really disappointed when Asher said he no longer wanted to know who killed him because he no longer wanted to move on I mean I just think that goes against the way things should be. I love that rosemary’s mom and the chief got engaged although the word “engaged” is never spoken it just says he bought her a ring and that they’re moving in together not super specific. I absolutely love the town of pebble cove and the townspeople. And thank you to Eryn Scott for creating the map of pebble cove for us to see absolute fun! Five awesome stars!

Pebble cove box set

This is the first I’ve read in the Pebble Cove mysteries but it was easy to pick up even though it starts with book 4. For a cozy mystery the stories are packed with action and suspense. It’s a story about Rosemary, who has moved to Pebble Cove when she inherited her grandmother’s house and tea shop. She finds she can see and talk to ghosts and is quite friendly with the ghost, Asher, who used to own her grandmother’s house. The books are hard to put down as you get drawn into the antics that she and the town ghosts get up to. 😊

Pebble Cove books 4-6 are Awesome!

Pebble Cove is where I would love to live and help out in one of the tea shops. The ability to speak with ghosts, I’m sure, could be scary but also neat especially if you could help the resolve whatever issues are keeping then earth bound. I recommend these books, all of them, to anyone that is open to changing their lives as occurs in these books.

An improvement from the first 3

I definitely enjoyed books 4-6 better than the first 3 in this series. Rosemary got less annoying, though she's still not a favorite. The surrounding characters are starting to grow on me too and I liked the new characters that were introduced. I thought the mysteries were a bit more engaging as well.

This set of three books was a fun read. Still repetative and slow going because of it. I am ready to get the next three in the series. This set is very clean.
