Stan Lewis is the Director of Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. With less than three months until the opening of a new neonatal unit, he needs to organize the biggest fundraising event Montana has ever seen. An event staging company could be the answer to all his problems, or create more than he ever imagined.
Mia Costas is a successful artist, not an event planner. But when two of her best friends ask her to help stage a charity gala, she reluctantly agrees. When she realizes how important the event is, she knows she’s not the best person for the job—and so will Stan if he discovers who she is.
With the hopes of more than one child resting on their shoulders, Stan and Mia work together to create a night no one will forget. And maybe, if they let themselves believe in the power of love, they could create a little magic of their own.

I’m sorry about that one star, but that’s all I could personally do. I tried so hard to understand where the author was going with this book. Through every page I read, not once did I find at least a little spark between the two main characters. Stan was a man who hadn’t moved on from his late wife for 9 years. I’m not happy to say that it got to a point that I wanted to stop reading just because he kept comparing her to our fmc. Why ??? Every time they got close to each other, and I’m repeating no spark between these two and zero chemistry, he kept pushing Mia away as if it was her fault. Always finding reasons that really never belonged in the story. His late wife was always present on his brain and Mia was just there to complete a HEA book where the ending didn’t even feel like one cause we never got to live in their relationship.

I’m all for a good weepy story, but this was not plotted very well. How many times is over the top? I quit at 62%. I couldn’t read another explanation. Also, the whole concept of Mia being the artist, teacher, and getting sucked into putting a gala together just wasn’t though out. It was not believable.
I really enjoyed reading this book, even though it in a series, it can be a standalone read. Event planners Clair and Hannah asks for Mia's help. It's the Christmas season and they have just been asked to plan a very important wedding, the success of satisfaction of this wedding will be huge from their business. With the encouragement of the women and her grandfather, Nick, Mia takes on the job. This is a Fundraiser for the Neonatal Unit of a hospital. Because of certain circumstances her contract Will be the Hospital Administrator, Stan, whose daughter, Annabelle, had been in the NICU because of a heart defect. While working together, they soon became romantically involved. There are some hurdles and some bumps they have to over come for a happy ending. Read this special to see if the Gala was a success and if they found their happily ever after. MK

This is a very easy and predictable read, contemporary romance and I loved it.

Wow! Mia & Stan had so many twists and turns...Mia was determined to create her art, then she offers to help her friends organize the hospital's gala for the new neonatal unit. Stan was overworked and trying his best to do right by his adorable 11 year old daughter, Annabelle, and then he & Mia meet and begin their slow dance towards happiness. Both had fears and had experienced great loss in their lives, making both hesitate to start anything. And the scare that Annabelle had was so very hard on both of them. But with Annabelle, Nick and a whole host of others, they finally find their way into happiness together.
Mia a professor, painter was talks into helping friends who owned a staging company with a gala since they were short staffed. This is where she meet Stan. Her grandad Nick, raised her since her parents died and he is overprotective. She was feeling overwhelmed doing the gala, trying to finish her paintings for an exhibition and trying to work as a teacher. When her boss would not give her 3days off she resigned. Her best move. She and Stan started to have feelings, but ups and downs. The gala was a success and the exhibition was too. This is a good read. Hope you enjoy it
Coming Home by Leanna Morgan is a story that will warm your heart. It is a clean, beautifully written story that will have you turning pages until the very end. I started reading this story on B&N as the November serial read but, I realized that I own the book and since I did not want to wait for each new chapter to be available, I decided to read this book and I finished it in 2 days!! That means that this is a great story and I highly recommend it especially if you love clean stories that are realistic and have a HEA. I am not going to synopsize the book; the book blurb already does that. Just pick it up and Enjoy.
Oh My Goodness! What a love story to surpass all love stories. So much heart break and so much love flows through every single page in this book. Mia, Stan, Annabelle, Nick, Kathy, Carrie, and Hannah are all wonderful characters. The support of this team of friends and family can be felt through and through. I would have given it ten stars if it were possible. This is how good of a book this is and Leeanna Morgan did a fantastic job writing it! My reviews and my opinion are my own.
I loved this book. Leeanna Morgan has done it again. Through telling the story and meeting these characters you have made me impatient to read the next book in this series. This book along with many of MS Morgan's stories takes place in Bozeman, Montana. She has taken characters from previous books and brought them back along with her new characters. She also takes you to small town America. I can't wait to start the next one in this series and plan on reading more of her other books.
An artfully written romance with some bumps along the road. Mia and Stan both struggle with holding on to their grief, keeping them firmly planted in the past and not living in the present. But as they work on the gala together they begin to sift through their long held hurts and open themselves to living fully and embracing love. And I loved all of the background characters, each one fully fleshed out. I can’t wait to read the following books in the Montana Promises series.

MONTANA PROMISES SERIES - BOOK 1 - COMING HOME : A SWEET SMALL TOWN ROMANCE BY LEEANNA MORGAN
THIS WAS A VERY INTERESTING AND VERY INFORMATIVE BOOK ON DIFFERENT SUBJECTS. THE CHARACTERS ALL HAD A SPECIAL BOND, WHICH KEPT THE STORY VERY INTERESTING. I TOTALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK. IT IS THE FIRST BOOK THAT I HAVE READ FROM THIS AUTHOR. I WILL DEFINITELY READ MORE OF THIS AUTHOR'S BOOKS. I FINISHED READING THIS BOOK ON 11/23/2023.
The feelings in this story had me in tears at a few points. The characters were sweet and, in some places, funny. For me, there was just something missing. I did like how strongly the characters felt about family. I also liked how the granddad watched over Mia, even though she was a capable adult. What a rare treasure that is in society today! Her respect for him also was a win for me. If you enjoy sweet, clean romance, you'll probably enjoy this book.
I loved Stan and Mia’s story. So much art and painting references made me want to paint. (I’m an amateur) The story of dedication to a neonatal unit fundraiser as well as following a dream of artistry kept me turning the pages.
At first, it was difficult for me to get into the story. Most likely my own problem. But I’m glad I continued. Leanna Morgan never disappoints.
Adam and Lily were Syosset to marry at the courthouse when they were 18 y.o. But Ilies mom drugs her and keeps her carotid in the basement. Adam believes she left him and was told she left town by his mum. Fit 12 years, he stayed away. It was too painful to come back as he was also told that Lily had returned home and was with another man, Eric. But Adam came home and ran into Lily after her sin ran inbuilt him. Truths gunslinger come out Not a well written book.
Clean and sweet story with interesting main and secondary characters. I loved the H's daughter and the h's grandfather.
Some aspects of the story were unbelievable, especially why Mia took over for the hospital gala. But, it still was an enjoyable read with some drama thrown in.
No cheating, no cliffhanger, ended at 95% on my e-reader. HEA and romance builds slowly. I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to read. (ljb)
Coming Home was an emotional read for me in parts. This story is about loss and finding your second chance at love, if you’ll let yourself. This book features Mia and Stan, but Annabelle, Stan’s daughter has a starring role. If you want to read a beautiful story, I suggest grabbing your copy of this book.
Stan needed $2,000,000 to fund the new addition to the hospital when his fundraiser had to leave the project. He asked Mia to assist until he could find a replacement. She was so busy herself with teaching at college, preparing for an exhibit of her paintings and helping her friends, she agreed to fill in temporarily.
I love reading. I always did, starting from reading my first golden book, all by myself, even though the Puppy book was upside down. All I can say, is have a box of tissues near you. This was a beautiful story and I look forward to the next book. Thank you Leeanna Morgan. I hope there will be a book 2 soon.
I absolutely loved this story! It was about finding love again and learning how to open your heart to a new beginning! I loved how these two people found their way to each other through trials and tribulations. Even a little girl and a grandfather knew they were meant for each other!
He’s a widower with a young daughter. She’s an artist that volunteers to help with his fund raiser. She’s beautiful, but he’s not willing to fall for her. His daughter knows her as her art teacher and wants her friendship. She falls for him but has lost so much she scared, will either one be willing to take a chance .
Stan Lewis is Director of Bozeman Deaconess Hospital and needed to organize a fundraising event. He hires an event staging company. Mia Costas an artist agrees to help stage the charity gala. Stan and Mia work together to make the fundraising event a success while Stan and Mia start to fall in love. I really enjoyed this compelling women's fiction novel.
What I liked about this book: clean romance, no foul language, attraction was spoken about but wasn’t graphic, the characters had complex emotions from past trauma. As a mother of NICU babies I’m grateful for the author’s recognition of the toll it takes on a family. Such a lovely story
This is a sweet story with many bumps along the road to happiness. It touched my heart especially because my first child was born with a fatal heart defect. She would have died without the surgery she had on her very first day of life. I also learned that loving someone may take a lot of courage, but it is worth the risk. I am glad that I read this book.
This was the Barnes & Noble serial read for November. This was a sweet romance story. Mia Costas is an artist, not an event planner. Stan Lewis is the Director of Bozeman Deaconess Hospital and needs an event planner. She agrees to help even though she has paintings to finish for an art exhibit. Highly recommended.
This was the Nook serial read for November of 2023. I really liked Mia. Most of the characters really. The love story was very sweet. A bit too much for me, but this isn't my usual read. I'm sure a lot of people would really enjoy it. I just caught the cringe from it and got the ick from Stan. The rest of the plot was enjoyable. Just not for me, but not the book's fault.
This story is so full of friendship, understanding and love between a grandfather (Nick)and his granddaughter (Mia)and a man and his daughter. The man is a doctor (Stan) who’s daughter (Annabelle) was born with a hole in her heart, so to a neonatal hospital she grows up to be a remarkable daughter. I love how the doctor meets Mia as she helps him with a fundraiser for the hospital he works for.
