Starts off strong, but loses a lot of steam near the end. Gonzalo Thought is interesting, and compelling at times, but I'm not completely sold on the ideology. Part of that is that in the later chapters Guzmán does not do the best job of selling his ideology. There's a lot of repeating and a manic nature to his thought that makes it hard to penetrate. At a certain point the book becomes repetitive to a fault. the first 100 or so pages are absolutely cracking, but Guzmán can't keep it up and eventually the stirring nature of the beginning is bogged down in the meanderings of the end.
