Making wire rings has lately been a popular fad, and I can see why! These rings are a lot of fun to construct, and they look much better when worn. Because they enhance and spruce up any outfit, I believe that just a few minutes to make a couple is worthwhile. I particularly enjoy stacking them, so I generally have approximately 6 on at any given time. Because these rings only take 5-10 minutes to make, I have a large collection and customize my rings to match my outfits on any given day. This lesson will demonstrate one method of creating wire rings, although there are other more designs available (some of which are very complicated and require practice in wire working).
Making a simple wire wrapped ring is a great way to get a feel for basic wire wrapping methods while having fun. Not only are they a fun item to wear or to build with friends, but they also make wonderful gifts for friends and family. As soon as you learn to construct a round band with equal sides, you'll be well on your way to making a variety of distinctive wire wrapped rings!
