Things got hectic when Silence got caught up, forcing the two to run away from their toxic home environment, straight into the hands of Demon’s father—a pimp named Ice.Demon is an eighteen-year-old product of his environment. The only person he trusts is himself, after Silence switches up on him for financial gain. As time goes by, he becomes colder and colder. The only thing that moves him is money, and he will go to great lengths to never feel the way he felt as a child. He’s successful in staying true to those values, until the person he hates most in the world comes to him, needing a favor. The favor comes with heavy consequences, and Demon has to figure out if Silence is worth it.Silence is an eighteen-year-old prostitute whose only concern in life is chasing a bag. She uses her body to get what she wants and does it with no regrets. The only thing missing in her world is the man she’s wanted since she was a little girl, Demon. Old habits die hard, and when he meets another woman who jeopardizes her place in his life, things get deadly. Find out what happens when you mix love, hate, and money together.

OMG!!!! What a crazy story!!! What really goes on in the mind of a writer is baffling to me LOL!!! Where do y’all come up with these stories! Let me say this… I CANT STAND Silence!! I really hope she gets everything she deserves. I get she has just as much trauma as Demon but she does not deserve happiness. She is a twisted individual!! Her constant betrayal when it comes to Demon is something that should never be forgiven! Ugh!!! They need to heal and walk away! I really hope this isn’t the end for Silver and Demon… I’m rooting for them!

From one author to another… You did your thing, Sis. Everything about this book was good.. No it was Great! The storyline, plot, plot twist, your overall writing was phenomenal. I knew I’d love Demon from the start. I can’t stand Silence and I can’t wait to see how she reaps what she sowed. I need pt2 Now! I need to see what happened to my girl Silver!!!

pretty good
This was a pretty good book. The story definitely kept me engaged. However, there were still quite a few noticeable errors that did kind of detract from the book. Having a lot of errors is a pet peeve of mine so I did have to take a star off the rating. Overall though, it was really good... Silence is wild for what she did at the end.... Ice might be more of a threat than he seems... and Demon is for sure about to be on Demon Time for what happened at the end. Can't wait for part 2

Demon x Silence
This story was sooo good! I’m so glad I decided to read it. First thing first, Silence is the worst! I can’t stand her jealous, selfish behind. I hope all of her secrets come out and destroys her.
Demon was my boy. Yea, he had his issues but it’s understandable growing up the way he did + the experiences he went through. I respect his hustle, but the way he handled some things, I disagreed with. Silence is definitely going to be his downfall. I hate what she did to Silver and the war she got Demon involved in.
The other characters played a vital part in this story. Every single one of them. Keisha and Renee deserves everything they got coming to them just as much as Silence.
I feel like there’s so much more to Ice’s story than what is disclosed. I’m sure the answers will be in book 2.
I don’t want to tell the story, just know that it’s a really good read that you should read if prostitution isn’t a trigger for you. It had a few grammatical errors, which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

This book was bananas…I knew going in it was going to be some street stuff but Baybey I didn’t expect half the stuff I read. I do not like Silence at all. I will never like someone who constantly throws a person’s traumas in their face.. Idk how much she rides for them besides that. I also know she has her own but she and Demon do not need to be together. Demon has his stuff with him too. I want them to heal separately and I want him to find real love if his opportunity hadn’t been ruined. I just know part two is about to be crazy and I can’t wait.

These to are Cray cray. I don't know who is worse Si or Demon bit I do know that his dad was wrong for coming in between their friendship know they loved one anther. I hope they can actually work it out but I know Ice is going to make that impossible because of his jealousy toward Demon. Also Silver is not my favorite I don't think she dead and she going to play a roll with her baby dad and try for revenge and it going to back fore on her. But I'm ready for part 2

This was WILD!!!!!
I don't even have words to how wild this ride was. I mean, how do I explain how much I was to ride for Silence, but Sis is not wrapped too tight. One thing is for sure, two things are for certain NOBODY is coming between her and Demon.
Reece LaFlare is a new to me author and I am very pleased and impressed with this body of work. Very well written with PLENTY of drama. Kept me on my toes for sure.

I hope Silver is still alive. I don't really care for Silent at all. She is so messy. I hope Demon gets his head together and figure out what Silent did because deep down I know he loves Silent and that love might be stronger than the love he thinks he has for Silver. Because loyalty means a lot and maybe that will stand stronger than the love he thinks he has for Silent. I don't know but we will see.

Wow!
This book is definitely a page turner with well written characters that brought me deep into their world. Their coming of age story wasn't pretty but felt real and I couldn't get enough. I wasn't expecting the end and look forward to part 2. No matter my feelings about the characters, I want to know what the future has in store for them.

Man as always Reese did her thing!! Dea Mon is a force to be reckoned with! To understand him you would have to understand where he came from. Baby his parents had me wanting to jump in this book and fight them! They put the T in toxic! Overall this was a dang good read!! Part 2 me please!!

Wow!
I read this story after seeing a post that grabbed my attention. Once I started reading, I had to know what would happen next. Demon and Silence both came from backgrounds that shaped the choices they made as adults. And with each move they made, I couldn't look away. Definitely not like anything I usually read, but I was drawn to the characters from the first page!

I liked it
This was the first book I read by Reese LaFlare. I really enjoyed the story behind Demon and Silence. They had an interesting life. But at one point I didn't like Silence and her jealousy. She had to live her life and Demon had to live his. I liked the book and can't wait to read the second one. Awesome book!!!!

I love demon you make him seem dark and mysterious he went through hell when he was a young boy he got raped I was tripping when he had sex with silver it was like he experienced different things. But I like him for silence I believe she didn’t want to sell her body. She should tell demon how she really feels about him.

I loved this story it was fire from the beginning to the end. I can’t believe that Demon was like that towards Silence though. I never thought that she would kill Silver though. I just want Silence to get together and leave Demon alone and move on with her life.
