Tres and Fury’s story start out a little slow, but once it gets going it doesn’t stop for one minute. From love at first site , complicated family situation, kidnapping and murder their story has everything to keep you spellbound to the very end. Just loved it!

I am a HUGE fan of Heather Slade. There is not a book, that she has written that I haven’t fallen in love with. I am most impressed by her details to characters, locations and issues. FURIED does not disappoint in any of these categories. One difference in this book, is the PERSONAL aspect of this story. It is FINALLY personal for Fury (Ellison) and she has found her match in Tres. The love and emotion that is felt in this story is practically tangible. The honesty, the truth and the communication between all the characters just hit me smack in all my feels!! This is definitely a re-read. Thank you, Heather for another fantastic read!!! Looking forward to the Vex & Scottie’s story!!

This enticing read gets this new series off to an impeccable start. I feel like I blinked and was firmly wrapped up in Tres and Ellison's romance. Gripping, intriguing, genuine and consuming, this book and this couple are fierce and fantastic. I am electing to post a forthright review.

Wheeeeeeewwww...talk about twists and turns, who do you trust, whodunit and steam from every direction...if that's your trope then you need to grab this one and hang on for the ride with Fury and Tres. Loved it!!❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️

Here we go with another winning series. Ms. Slade knows how to combine the right amount of heat and suspense in her novels. We met Fury in the final installment of the Invincibles Hammer turned over the attorney reins to her. Tres has made some cameo appearances in other Invincibles books.
Following his boss Maeve's rule of dancing at least once a night, Tres asks Ellison, AKA Fury to dance with him one night at the Long Branch. It was a private affair mostly Invincibles and family but still, the bar was open. What followed was quite a wild ride. One that you never saw coming.
Tres isn't exactly the bouncer he appears to be, but before he can explain to Fury and after they got married, he vanishes. At first she's sure he left her bringing up old hurts and why she holds everyone at arms length. But the new branch of the Invincibles, not quite named yet, doesn't believe that. They feel that he was kidnapped but staged to look like he left her.
A trip across the Atlantic to meet up with Rile in Spain, and also Tres' mother country yields more questions than answers. But Fury and her team are unstoppable until they find Tres. Hence where this groups name will come from. I'm not getting into The Who's or why's that he was kidnapped as one needs to read the book and find out. But I will say I'm looking forward to the next book.

Tres and Fury are so hot together!
OK, I know it's too obvious but the romance between Tres and Fury really was unstoppable. From the moment they first danced at Rip and Pearl's party, these two were physically, emotionally, and romantically inseparable. Until he's kidnapped right out of her bed.
The first part was so romantic and oh-so-very steamy. It's by far this author's steamiest book yet, with more love scenes than I could count. But more than just their physical relationship, their emotional connection was beautifully depicted and it was no surprise at all that their love story hit the ground running and never looked back.
Tres is "hotter than a ghost pepper" but very sweet, charming, and completely smitten with Ellison. Every time she'd tried to pull back, he'd know the exact right thing to say to break down her walls and make her feel safe all at once. Ellison is as tough as she can be, but soft and vulnerable only for him. She isn't sure about anything except this connection to Tres, which fortifies her during the time he's missing.
Then comes all the secrets - and wow, everything is completely shaken up! Ellison has to deal with finding Tres, figuring out who kidnapped him and why, what all that has to do with his family, and then there's a dead body? Whew! Hang on, take notes, because this story really takes off and takes you on a wild ride to find the truth.
Eventually we get a beautiful HEA, one that was never in doubt. This is the perfect start to a new spin-off series and I loved every bit of it. It's also the most female-centric story this author has ever done, emphasized by the first female cover model in her catalogue. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Another great read by Heather Slade. She never fails to amaze me with her storylines.
This book between Ellison aka Fury and Tres is off the charts with steaminess if there is such a word.
Fury is an attorney associated with the Invincibles and she loves her job but is a solid no when it comes to relationships.
Then she meets Tres, a bouncer at the Long Branch that is owned by Maeve and Hammer.
Fury needs an escape and heads to the Long Branch for a few drinks. Tres asks her to dance and the next morning she wakes up to find him in her bed.
That has been a big no-no for her, but for some reason she lets him stay and what follows is a crazy ride between the two.
Fury needs to go to Las Vegas for work and Tres says he will accompany her there. Sparks fly and they end up married by an Elvis officiant.
Once back home, Fury has to go into the office and when she returns Tres is gone, clothes and all.
At first, she's sure he left her which brings up old hurts at being left before. That is one of the reasons she holds everyone at arm's length and appears cold to others.

This is a great story. One full of secrets, betrayal and suspense. The chemistry between the characters is off the chart from the very beginning. “Hell hath no FURY like a woman scorned.” “When your true love is near, you will feel their presence long before you see them,” he’d said.

She was feeling like the odd man out, most of the Invincibles were married. She was about to leave when she heard a sultry Spanish accent asking her to dance.
Tres is a bouncer at the Long Branch. He had noticed Ellison on several occasions. When I found her sitting alone at the bar, I knew I had to ask her to dance. Now I do not want to let her go. “I cupped the cheek of the only woman I wished I could tell the truth. Whom I wished I had told the truth the first night I spent with her. The same night I promised to stay. In a few days, though, I’d have to leave. I couldn’t remain with her longer than that.”

Ellison “Fury” Storm is feeling kind of low, her friends with benefits arrangement with Rip ended months ago. It is not that he found someone, they were never that to each other, the team members are finding their partners one by one. She does not let anyone in. When one of the bouncers, Tres, asks her to dance she accepts. Next morning her is still in her apartment and not matter how much she tells him to leave, he says he cannot as he made her a promise last night.
Tres is not all he seems, there are secrets he is keeping from her. It is not long the pair are marrying in Vegas, when the get back he disappears. At first she believes he has left her, until it is starting to look like this may not be the case.

Furied is the start of Heather Slade’s Unstoppable series, and let’s say she starts out with a hot bang! Furied will have you on your toes as you follow Ellison and Tres in their whirlwind love story. Ellison, aka Fury, is a strong, independent woman who will stop at nothing to get the answers she needs and to find what has been taken from her. Her past heart breaks are very relatable and I think somewhere we’ve all been there in a relationship or two before. You root for her because in a way you’re rooting for yourself and the hope that there’s more to life, trust and love. Tres is a good pairing with her as he helps balance her storm. He pushes back when she tries to push away. He truly shows her there’s a different side of love that is to be cherished and worth holding on to. He’s the kind of love we all hope to find. He has his secrets which could spell disaster once the dust settles. Your favorite Invincibles are present and glimpses of the new team are sprinkled in as you read. I am very excited to see how this series unfolds and can’t wait for more.

Ellison 'Fury' Storm former CIA and now Untouchables lawyer meets Tres the head bouncer at the Long Branch during a private party. The attraction is immediate, intense and I'm really surprised there wasn't flames shooting out of my kindle with the heat and that's just the beginning. These two enjoy a multitude of activities with plenty of sizzling scenes in between. After a dinner with Fury's sister and parents Fury gets called to work. Vex's brother is in need of a lawyer in Vegas. What she doesn't expect is for Tres to accompany her.
From the moment they get to Vegas things get weird. Then they get even more so as a few very interesting events take place.
There is something surprising on just about every page as the heat ramps up in more ways than one. We also get to see some of my favorite folks from previous books as the intrigue and suspense surrounding Tres unfolds.
I really can't wait for the next book in this series.

Great start to a new spin-off series
This is the first book in Heather Slade’s new series The Unstoppables Team One. It is full of familiar characters that we will get to spend more time with. It also has us revisiting older friends if you are familiar with all her works.
Fury and Tres start out at the Long Branch with a hot and heavy first encounter. It turns into something neither expected and Fury isn’t sure how to manage. This story doesn’t have as much action as we usually get from her books but the strong connection between them is wonderful to read. February 19, 2023ok, no, i will not continue anymore. i am dnfing this, officially, at fifty percent. i have been pushing through this for days, just trying to feel anything for the plot or for the characters, but io really, really just cannot form any connection to any of them. i dont care for anything that is happening. the writing style, to me at least, feels a bit clunky and unplanned, and im nto going to go out and say this is a horrific novel, because its not. the book as an idea isnt too bad, and i can totally see a huge fanbase for this book, but i really do not want to continue. i might come back and give it another try one day in the future, but i probably wont. i dont like it. give it a go if you want, but dont hate me for not liking it. i also hate giving bad reviews for books because authors are humans overall, and deserve our utmost respect.

We first encounter our hero and heroine at the Long Branch. Fury (Ellison) meets the bouncer Tres. And boy the sparks fly and what a delightful way we get to learn more about these two. Until a phone call comes from Vex to Fury about an issue with his brother in Vegas. At this point things begin to start being a little unusual. Heather has weaved a story of love, betrayal, misunderstanding, forgiveness, heartbreak and because this is also a romance we do get a HEA. Don’t miss out on our Unstoppable’s they are certainly unstoppable.

While this may be the first book in a new series We have met both of the characters in earlier series.
Ellison(fury) and Tres meet at the function for Rip and Pearl he is the bouncer working the night she is the lawyer that represent the Unstoppables The attraction between them is instant and the dance they share leads to a night of passion but they next morning he is gone He knows she is the woman for him but his family obligations mean they can never be together after all a lawyer doesn't belong in his families world. Now she has found him and the connection is still strong Can they find a way to be together With the perfect mix of suspense Drama and hot romance this book will have you reading into the early hours of the morning

With Furied, Heather Slade starts her new Unstoppables series, a spin-off from the Invicibles. As such, there are characters from previous books with cameo appearances which I always enjoy. Unlike those books, Furied has a good number of steaming hot sexy times along with suspense and drama that originate from a surprising source! This is very much a don't-judge-a-book-by-its-cover story full of twists and turns. I loved both Fury and Tres and their chemistry fairly leaped of the pages, as did the deepening feelings between them. A great start and I for one hope that the next book in this series keeps up the steam!

I have wanted Fury's story since we first glimpsed her and this story in no way disappointed. Now we get the backstory for Ellison aka Fury and what truly makes her tick. Her and Tres meet and have this instant, off the charts chemistry that I was expecting but I absolutely loved! But I also loved that there is more to their story than just the chemistry that they share. There are twists and turns that I wasn't really expecting, but honestly I loved how it played out and brought everything in this story together. The only reason I knocked down a star was because it was a little slow in part of it, just enough for me to notice but not enough for me to want to stop reading and need to know more. This was definitely a great start to a new series!!

My New Favorite Couple!!
Absolutely Smokin’ hot!! Tres is working as a bouncer in a bar, but there is more to this man. Ellison Storm / Fury is ex-CIA and currently the attorney for the Invincibles new unit. Ellison has pushed away any interested men - until Tres.

This first book in this series is epic!
Tres and Fury’s story is explosive from beginning to end. Fury is former CIA, and is now the attorney for the Invincibles. Tres is a sexy Spaniard but holds a big secret. The romance is ultimate. All is revealed after he disappears one day. Was it on purpose? The mystery is revealed piece by piece throughout this story. There’s so much love, danger, steam, anticipation and action in this book. I read it in one sitting. Heather Slade’s writing is always like for me. I get so involved in the story I can’t put it down. That’s what an exceptional writer does to the reader. I highly recommend this book.

Furied is the first book in Heather Slade's newest series, The Unstoppables, and tells the story of Ellison, aka Fury, and Tres, a bouncer working at the Long Branch bar and grill just outside Austin, Texas. From the first moment they meet, Fury and Tres have an explosive chemistry, which is carried throughout the book.
This author has continued to bring a freshness to her books and characters. With each book, she wields her pen (or computer) into better writing, deeper characters and more satisfying HEA endings.
Note: Furied has more open door bedroom scenes than any book prior. Although it is not my cup of tea, I feel other readers should be forewarned as to the graphic content.

Tres saw Fury at Long Branch, where he's a bouncer, a while ago, and has been biding his time to get to meet her. She strikes something in him, he knows she's going to be his. Fury has had a bit too much to drink but not enough to lose her sense, she dances with Tres, who she finds really attractive, but she doesn't do relationships, only short flings.
She's called away on business and he goes with her, not wanting her out of his sight.

First I have to say every woman needs a man like Tres in their life. After he learns a few things about Fury (interesting read on how he learned what he learned) the way he treats Fury is swoon worthy. Tres definitely gives Fury a run for her money in those early days. This is an emotional, angsty, page turning thriller that once you start working you won't want to put it down.
It was great to see the gang from previous books come together, just added to the entertainment of this read. Heather Slade has brought us another fantastic read. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

September 22, 2022This is the 1st book in The Unstoppables Team One series by one of my favourite authors Heather Slade. What a way to begin a new series! This is Tres (bouncer) and Ellison Storm (Fury, ex-CIA and attorney for the Invincible's) They meet in a bar and hit it off right away. Off they go to Furies place and spend a very memorable night. She has always pushed away any interested men - until Tres. He is there for her, they have a connection which is amazing, but there are secrets (both family and friends) intrigue, danger and lies! Who exactly is Tres? Why has he been kidnapped? Oh, and they thought up the name for the new team also, how did they get that? Well you must read this intriguing book!

This is the first book to the new series The Unstoppables; but Heather brings back characters from The Invincibles series.
The connection between Fury and Tres was fire. Super steamy scenes and romantic at the same time. Tres is so charming it makes you fall in love with him. The twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat; once I started reading I couldn’t put the book down. This is a great start to the new series, can’t wait for the next stories.
This is definitely one of my favorites and will be rereading for sure!

I absolutely loved Tres! Ellison is a spitfire, but she's found her calming substance in Tres. All his choices have led to finding her, his perfect match. We get the some of the Invincibles and some new characters, the ribbing continues between them all, especially with personal property, e.g., like Bombardiers. Many ups and downs in this story and I loved them all. "Love above all else." That just about sums it up for all relationships. Recommend this series, and this author.

I got a ARC copy of Furied. Non stop hot, smokey passion are the first words that come to mind with this story. The attraction is so intense, I had to put the book down a couple of times just to get a glass of water. When you find yourself stepping out of the box and making decisions you normally wouldn't make. . . . When you can't pull yourself away . . . .When it's worth doing what ever is necessary to get what you want most in life. I read this book in a day. Ha! no cooking and cleaning for me. Just be prepared for the passion. . .

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Furied . This is book one in the new series The Unstoppables . Ellison (Fury ) Storm is attorney for The Invincibles security group .
While at a private party she meets the sexy bouncer Tres but unfortunately their relationship starts out with secrets the could destroy everything growing between them . This story is full of suspense and intrigue and definitely hot and steamy . A great start to a new series . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
