This is an examination that puts your life at stake. Answer a plethora of questions, pass the exam, and you may live. Two-faced examiner, Qin Jiu, meets the cold examinee, You Huo. In this inhumane system, both of them who have lost their memories go head to head against each other. Despite that, they have a strong mutual understanding. Alarms go off and the system collapses time and time again. During which, their memories gradually return. It turns out that even at the end of the world where there's only dust left, you're still the first person I met. What's so great about this system? We'll just destroy it. The world is brilliant and grand still, so welcome home.

Just finished the first 3 arcs of the novel, and gotta say, this is quite the story.

Imagine this you have two amnesiacs who are each others' archnemesis, and you get to see them slowly and painfully recover their memories.

To be honest, I'm still confused about the whole system and how it actually works. I hope we get more details as the story progresses because I'm quite curious to see how the system malfunctioned and how they lost their memories.

So far, we have seen bits and pieces of their memories slowly returning, but we're not totally there yet.

I love the tension. *chef's kiss*
The tension can cut through like a knife, lol
But also, the fact that the romance is a slow burn is killing me.
I AM NOT A PATIENT PERSON :,(( (pls kiss already)
But I have to say slow burns are the most rewarding. *sighs dramatically*

I also saw somewhere that the novel is getting an official translation through rosmeihey, BUT unfortunately, the worldwide shipping is basically non-existent. Guess I'll never get to have my favorite books as a physical copy. (If only I could read chinese....)

ive been reading the manhua, not the novel.
it might well be the case that infinity flow is just not my genre, or it's just this work that doesn't jibe with me. both MC and ML seem like smart people and a power couple in the making, which i do appreciate. but the exams and the plot overall seem very non sequitur for me.
plus the art style is not my favourite.

Really enjoying this manhua. Frustrated that there's no good way to enter digital manhua reading on Goodreads, so I tried entering it myself - hope people find it useful. :D

I felt a little more lost in the very first chapters compared to the novel because they skipped some details, but don't worry you will get more answers gradually.
Also the art is amazing, great adaptation of the novel

This was very confusing. We get thrown into this exam right away without a proper introduction. I get that it was the point and that it was meant to create a sense of mystery. The characters seem to accept their situation very quickly. I wished we could’ve had a slow beginning where the author properly set up the suspense and the vibes you’re supposed to get. I’m going to read the novel to see if there’s a difference. It could be that the Manhua naturally is more fast paced.

I have been hearing rave reviews about this manhua and I have to say, the Black widow arc was actually interesting to see both examiner MC’s go along with their mystery gang to do a few puzzles here and there. However after that arc was finished and the “Black widows dolls ghosts” were finally rest in peace, I just felt too much was happening and getting boring at the one time like i ended up skipping more chapters to the last chapter of 119. I also feel that we don’t get enough MC examiners as I couldn’t give a toss about the rest tbh, I just wanna see more BL action yall which I felt wasn’t getting. It’s so slow lol..

It's still too early in the story to understand what is going on, but it looks interesting.

OMG.

Auf jeden Fall super spannender Manhua. Ich freu mich schon auf den BL Teil (höhö) oder überhaupt mehr vom Manhua zu lesen :D

Where do I even begin?
The raw emotions I felt reading every chapter—I cannot explain.
The pain, love, yearning, trust, chemistry (my god, don’t even get me started), and the belief in meeting again and again with the one you love—your one and only—are portrayed so deeply by Mu Su Li.

After reading 20+ Danmeis spanning period, modern, supernatural, and sci-fi genres, I can confirm: you will not be disappointed.
You’ll find yourself going back to reread certain pages, certain chapters, just to reconnect with the emotions so beautifully conveyed by the writer.

I loved every moment between You Huo and Qin Jiu. Both are crazy, both so different yet the same.
There isn’t a single moment of cringe or fake drama. Like I said, the relationship feels so real, so raw—it will make you cry.

I look forward to reading more of Mu Su Li's works.

The art is SO beautiful 🥹🥹🥹 I love the designs they have for everyone.

The first exams pacing is SO fast it reads like absolute gibberish if you dont already know whats happening so I wouldnt reccomend anyone to start with the manhua instead of the book. But if you have already read the book, you should check the manhua out.

(also shoutout to the manhua for making the language exam way less racist than it was in the book. while making the physics exam much more racist than it was in the book. I have nothing to say that takes skill. Incredible. What the hell)

Read the German edition by Manlin Verlag. I don't know the novel.

We're basically thrown directly into the story without much explanation. Well, you know how survival games work, so this isn't much of a problem, but I would've liked to learn more about the other examinees. Maybe that'll happen in the next volumes. The art is very nice at least, focusing on the most important thing: to make the MC and ML look hot.

It starts with an interesting premise. With people taking an exam where you die if you fail.
We see glimpses of a possibly past event, and our MC, You Huo is constantly trying to piss off the system which controls the exams by breaking as many rules as he can during the exam.

Or so it seems. At least every examiner is certain he enjoys messing with the system, thus making the job of the poor examiners more difficult.

You Huo and the ML, Qin Jiu have a palpable tension between them. Qin Jiu grabs every opportunity he can to tease You Huo which at this point is kind of annoying at times since they don't even know each other - or at least they think so.

There's also some hint at the people's memories constantly being erased which adds an interesting layer to the story. Wondering what could have happened before their memory was erased and why it's so important for them to forget it.

Since there're rules to obey, there're also punishments for those who don't. And to everyone's surprise, instead of screaming or crying as everyone else does after being sent to one of those confinement rooms, You Huo just sits down and sleeps until his time is up and his punishment is over. That really was a hilarious scene.

Not only the examinees, the examiners are also controlled by the system watching their every word, so in reality, no one is free.
