C'mon. It's a book about the first two decades of the shuttle. How could I NOT give this five stars? :) It's wonderful to read a book where four of five orbiters are still in service (this was published pre-Columbia accident), and there's such a hopefulness about the story as it leaves off at the dawn of the ISS.
This book is slightly out of date, and yet it could not be more present. I felt it illustrated for me what life is like in outer space, through the first-hand accounts of dozens of astronauts.
