I'd say this book is perfect for someone new to trusting their intuition, although for me this was more a great recap of much of what I have learned over the years. I attended a Hay House event in 2010 where Sonia was one of the speakers so I have enjoyed her work for many years now. This particular book has lots of practical tips and exercises you can use to get in touch with your own inner guidance as well as many interesting stories about people who have had amazing results from trusting their vibes. It's also very easy to follow and a fun read overall.

If you ever had curiosity about intuition and how it works, or if it is really a thing that you should depend on, then this book will enlighten you. It is a level 0 book. Meaning that, if you are already familiar with intuition and its' power and place in life, then this book will not give you anything new other than reassurance that it truly is a force that must be nurtured and respected and used often.

The exercise after each chapter are only useful for those who have never dipped their toes into the whole science of human intuition also called "vibes" in the book.

This author's books all sound the same. She has the same "vibe" in each book. This is my third book from this author.

I personally, need deeper. She often repeats information from one book to another. That is great, if you have never read anything from this author, prior to this one. Of course, obvious for me is definitely not obvious for anyone else. And the reverse would be true. What is obvious to some is not so obvious to me.

I love the order and information in the book. The way some experiences are described really resonates with me — it validates many experiences I’ve had!

What I really don’t like is the inconsistent sometimes supportive, sometimes mocking tone throughout the book. For example, I don’t resonate with how ego is described. I don’t find it helpful to compare our egos to dogs (poodles, German Shepards, etc) mainly because I just don’t see dogs the way the author sees them. So I did my own research about healing wounded egos, and I found explanations and exercises that felt much more accurate for me. I prefer an approach that emphasizes healing, not shaming.

Finally, this book is written for people who already have a lot of privilege. The assumption is that you don’t have autism or another neurodivergence that impacts your ability to focus. The health recommendations in chapter 2 include “eat high quality chocolate - I believe we must all eat chocolate.” Some of us don’t like chocolate! 😂 But this is just an example of how the author really writes to people who experience life just like she does. It comes off super white. This book lacks any critical mention of the impact of systemic injustices, like racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and more, that really do harm people. There’s no consideration of eating disorders or abuse, and how these traumas impact our ability to eat and exercise the way the author recommends. The author wanted to move to Paris one day and tada, it just magically happened. Some people don’t reasonably have access to resources to do these remarkable things, and it might not be because they’re egotistical or ungrounded or untrusting of their vibes. Maybe they just live in America in 2023.

Instead the author makes it seem like all of our reactions are just coming from being ungrounded and having dog-like egos. She really oversimplifies the role of conditioning. I prefer the perspectives of other intuitive folks who consider systemic injustices because I find their advice way more realistic and actionable.

I like this new edition

This is a very good revised edition of the original! I would love to see other books updated and brought forward like this one. Not digging on people. With this book the stories the author told have been updated post COVID lockdown making it more relevant to today. With that said I enjoy both the original and revised versions. This one the author goes into more depth and gives more techniques. I found it fun as I went through the books the lessons played out in my life. It was lots of fun. Plus those that heard it as they walked into my office became interested in purchasing their own copies. It led to some fun conversations. I look forward to applying all I learned and was reminded of in this book in the decades to come.

I liked the content a lot. The author gives many great tips and backs her claims up with examples. It did get a bit repetitive towards the end, but not horribly. It's still something I'd refer back to.

My main issue was with the book's tone. At times I found it a bit condescending, and I didn't really like the "us-versus-them" division of five versus six sensory people. I did not care for the narration on the audiobook and think I would have enjoyed this more if I read the physical copy. It definitely felt like she was talking down to the listener at times. If you can look past this, it's a good book about tapping into your intuition.

Easy read. Sonia writes as if we are friends sitting over coffee. I have been working with my spiritual side for over a year and this was more knowledge to add to it. I appreciated all her stories she shared as well.

Great practical advise on how to tune into your intuition. I listened to it as an audiobook and am not sure that was the best choice. Would recommend for anyone new to exploring untuition and vibes. If you’re more seasoned it will still bring some nice tidbits for you!

This book came at the perfect timing and made me realize the power we all hold and how real intuition is. It made me trust myself more and realize I don’t need a reasoning for why I may make a choice. Our body knows when something is off and if you deny it or don’t trust it, you will wreak havoc. My biggest take away was to observe people with “neutral curiosity”. At the end of the day we all want similar things and want to be loved and cared for but we all go about getting our needs met in different ways. Some people have been hurt and fear being hurt again so they withhold love. Some people cling to everyone to feel the love they can’t give themselves. Everyone deals with their stuff in a different way. It’s an amazing thing and it’s a good thing to be curious but not to judge people for going about getting their needs met in ways that are different from mine. “The human heart isn’t designed to withhold love”. If everyone withheld love, what would the world be like? There would be constant pain and no human connection

Well, if I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would. It is the perfect book for people who are learning to trust their intuition but also for people who are already practicing this. It has a lot of stories, practices and tools that are so valuable. It helped me in my life so much in the past month. I am so thankful for this!
