4.5 rounded up — I found the miscommunication trope leaned on much too heavily and wanted to shake both season’s MCs more often than not. But I did enjoy the read, I loved the dynamics between both couples, and I liked how both sets had internal AND external hurdles to overcome; particularly the major differences between families and how that was handled.

There’s a LOT of smut too, which surprisingly didn’t get repetitive despite being fairly vanilla for a omegaverse-adjacent shifter/beast-people world.

The first couple I loved how head over heels the puppy-seme was and the second couple I loved how headstrong and small-dog-syndrome the uke was lol.
