Destinies converge, and secrets are revealed in part three of Mia and Toven's story. While attempting to purchase the "Perfect Match Virtual Fantasy Studios," Toven discovers that he's not the only God left alive, and Mia discovers that she has hidden talents neither of them has known about.
Book 61 is AMAZING - WONDERFUL - I love it! I screamed in joy when Kian introduced himself to Toven, laughed when Toven was interacting with Okidu and his foreshadowing, cried when Toven apologized to Orion (I know that relationship needs some more time and healing) but then to have Frankie and Margo at the end!?!?
I honestly cannot believe we are in the 60s and I still stay up way past my bedtime to finish the story only wait anxiously for the next book to continue where we left off. Other series you have to wait for the entire “couples arc” to be finished. I actually love the way these books are published to give us a good chunk of story at a time. Those who like to read each couple all at once don’t have to wait too long for all 3-4 books to come out so it works out for everyone!
Can’t wait for Williams story! I’ve been waiting for his story since Hannah moved away!!

The book count for this series may seem daunting since this is the 60th book, thankfully the way IT Lucas organizes the series is by having the books are set in 3-4 books in a mini-series that revolves around a main couple. There are often side characters & couples that you will see develop along side the main couple. The series does have an overarching storyline that continues through all the books so it is best to read them in order. These books are also told from the POV of multiple individuals, even many of the side characters or members of previous highlighted coupled. Each chapter clearly identifies who is telling their story so it is easy to follow.
This is the final book in Toven & Mia's story & we finally get the scene that I have been waiting for! They finally get discovered by Annani's clan and I love it! And thanks for how IT loves to tease us with the next book & am seriously excited for the next series.
I.T. Lucas is a very talented writer and story teller. This series (children of the gods) fulfils all our fantasies the character are likeable. I love that you don’t lose track of all the new characters introduced and that they often appear in the series as more new people take their place. The writing is smooth and full of character. Her writing gives you the impression that she enjoys life and wants to give that feeling to her readers. Keep them coming I can’t wait to read more.
I loved this story. I’m pleased that Toven’s heart was awakened. I’m glad Aaliyah found some happiness. That poor child deserved it. My only issue with this and the rest of these stories is the length. There were 15 pages before the first chapter even started and another 35 after the book ended. Please just give the page numbers of the actual story. I’m reading thinking I have way more pages left than I really have and it is super annoying. Great series, great book. MAKE. THEM. LONGER.
I just love this series. I liked Toven and Mia's conclusion and hope her two friends will get their own stories. The reason why I only give it four stars is, that I skipped many chapters about Vrog and Aliya. I can't stand that female. Everything else was as brillant as always. Can't wait for the next book.
Conclusion:
I wished there would have been more of Toven and Mia instead of Vrog and Aliya, but I still enjoyed it.
These books are great, the characters engaging, the plot ever-evolving. I have so many questions and The author has asked some of them, too--so I'm hoping there will be reveals and/or solutions in upcoming books. I certainly hope that the story continues past certain "endgame" scenarios since there are so many plotlines that could be ongoing in this world. Love this world!
5 Stars for book 61! Yes, that is right 61 books In the series And every single 1 of them is perfection. Each story arc Is connected to the previous arcs Still completely individualized, No love story is the same as any other, The world keeps getting richer and more involved With every word given by the author and read by we the readers. I agree they look forward to the next book.
I have enjoyed Tovan & Mia’s story. It was not a lot of drama and whiny complaints from Mia. Some of the previous women in the series I was frustrated with because I felt all they did was whine and complain. They have such a wonderful outcome, not just meeting their love mates but Also for Toven to be reunited with his family. Aliya and Vrog’s love matching is moving right along. A very happy upbeat book. Great addition to the series!
Holy smokes. I love your books. This one is one of my favorites so far.
Thank you for this story and for the conversation between Cassandra Toven and Kalugal. It is funny that you write so many things I think about but this one hit home. I showed my little cousins (in their 20s) and reiterated that they should do their own research.
I could not put this book down once I started reading it! New couples are formed, New potentials found and a new immortal, what more could you ask for!! So much is happening in this book, it almost seems they could use an additional book. However, I'm certain their story will continue.
This series is always a fun read. Starting at #1 and binge reading is a great adventure until you have to happily wait for the next installment. You will never regret starting this series if you are into mysterious gorgeous and for the most part just really nice people.
Great writing from I.T. Lucas, Mia's situation seemed impossible until Toven. A woman who was fragile met and fell in !ove with a god. Toven's blood and venom led to her transitioning to an immortal. Happy with Frog and Aliyah's HEA. Glad William will be featured in book 62. What about Darlene? Can't believe I'm still engaged after 61 books! Bravo I. T. Lucas 🤩
I loved the conclusion of Mia and Toven’s story and can’t wait to read more about them. I’m excited that there are even more characters to learn about, including Mia’s grandparents and best friends! This series keeps me guessing and makes me excited with anticipation about what will come next. I count down the days until the next book is released.

I believe this is the one book that I had been waiting for the most because I wanted to read the third book regarding Toven and Mia I’m so glad that she went and made it through and now I can’t wait for the next book to continue the journey with all of my favorite immortals
Tovan and Mia finally meet Kian and family. Mia may have a hard time transitioning and thereis a chance that her legs will regrow. Family relationships arestrained due to Tovan's behavior to his son. He is learning to care for family but needs his space and Mia agrees. Her best friends might be dormants too. That would be interesting.
I have had so much fun reading these books. I came to the series quite late. In a way I'm glad I came to the series so late. Because I was able to read the books from book 1-60 without stopping. What a great storyline this is been. I really hope that book 62 is not going to be the end of the story !
I really enjoyed the WHOLE book. I didn't like that Toven, aka Tom dismisses his son the way he did. I hope they can reconcile their differences and get along. I also hope Mia's friends are also part of the immoral family. And that her, Toven, her friends and grandparents go to live in the secret village.
I am in love with this storyline. It’s always fresh, never boring and the characters aren’t always even likable at first. They’re real, with flaws and different views or opinions. Yet it works and to see them grow and work together to build a better future is beautiful! Keep writing more - I am so invested in these characters!
Love it, love it, love it, them Fates are at it again!! Tom/Toven finds Mia which has the knock on, ripple effect, and brings him back to the Family. Orion is willing to start again, and he meets his daughter and granddaughters and great grandson. Certainly beginning to feel like one big happy family. Come on William I'm rooting for ya!!
This series is addictive. I've thought about dropping it so many times but the background story and characters draw you in like a soap opera. The first of these three i was pretty meh on the main couple. He was a little too perfect, too rich, and too pushy. That being said I was so looking forward to him meeting the clan. This book it finally happened and it was better than I hoped for! Looking forward to more clan interactions and hoping Darlene finds a cute geek soon. Too bad it's not William. Maybe the mysterious Brian?....
Dark God Destinies Converge (The Children Of The Gods Book 61) by I T Lucas. As Toven tries to buy Perfect Match for Mia he is invited to meet the silent partners and finds family and immortals he didn’t know existed.
I felt that book 60 was more of a ‘Filler’, and I skimmed most of it. However, this book was great and has moved the story along nicely with lots of potential for further couples.
I have read every book in the series abd I'm always entertained. However, this one was a favorite I was eagerly awaiting this reunion. Cant wait to find out who Mia descended from.
Toven, Mia and her family/friends are fast becoming some of my favorite characters. Following their story will keep you engaged with the series. Truly hope their characters continue to be part of the story focus for sometime. Great new characters are what keeps the series great even after 61 books.
Loved loved loved this book. So looking forward to what comes next. If your thinking of getting this book DO IT but start from book one. Well worth it and you don’t have to wait long for next instalment.
The story about Mia and her troubles was really fast. By the ending, it left alot of open possibilities for more stories, which could be great stories. The fates are really cracking out dormants. Exciting to see what will happen next
This book in the series was exciting and fun. The storyline was quite interesting with the characters that were all familiar but interesting with how they all had a purpose in the story.
To end and Mia are truly wonderful together. Brogan and Aylia are great also. Everyone coming together is great for us readers that have read all 61 books. Can’t wait for the next installment!
I’m ready for book #62 and all the others to come. I absolutely love I.T. Lucas’s writing! I will stop another series to read her books. Every character is used in one way or another in her books. July can’t come soon enough!
