Book two in this series is another action packed, faced paced page turner, the Alpha Tactical team come together for a rescue mission to Antarctica, but the person they are going to save is not the one they bring home, and the mission turns into something much more than they thought.
Billie Everson is a scientist who is doing what she can to save the world, she grew up on a cattle station and the droughts got her thinking about the weather hence her thoughts on global warming, but her life growing up wasn’t much fun, she hasn’t been home for eleven years. Now she has finally been sent to Antarctica to research a glacier, but what she finds is something that shouldn’t be there embedded in the ice and this starts a massive arrival of people who want what she has found and will do anything to get it.
Levi, known as Wasp to his team members is one of the best chopper pilots around but when the team are sent to Antarctica he discovers a whole new world with ice and wind, but what he doesn’t expect to find is Billie, beautiful scientist who has just been through hell and he is determined to bring her home safe, which isn’t going to be easy with all of these ruthless murders killing everyone in their way to reclaim what they think they own.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story Kendall Talbot kept me turning the pages as Wasp does what he can to save Billie and keep his head where it should be not easy when there are things at home are turning upside down as well and Billie the courage she shows through what she goes through is fabulous she is perfect for Wasp, this is one that I would highly recommend, I loved catching up with the other team members and I am really looking forward to the next book, Maya’s story.
My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review
Hostile Mission is the second heart-pounding book in the Alpha Tactical Ops series and one that should not be missed.
I really enjoyed this story, full of complex alpha war-torn men and sassy women. It is fast-paced, action packed and will get your blood pumping in excitement, and the sexual tension runs high.
She is hoping to prove what she believes is true and help the world, but what she discovers is about to change her world forever. Trapped in a nightmare with no help coming, and a man who has betrayed her, time is running out. Tasked with bringing a man home, what they walked into was a scene where all hell had broken loose. They found one survivor, and all his instincts say protect her, but she is too good for him.
I do love a Kendall Talbot book and this new series is very different, I like how each of the members is getting their own arc and so we get to know them more. I did struggle in the beginning remembering who everyone is and their place and the back story especially with the code names but it came back to me during the book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Hostile Mission hit the ground running with what was going on with Billie a researcher in Antarctica and Levi’s situation doing rescues and now a new mission with his team. I do love seeing the Levi’s team all together and how Xena is fitting in with them all as Blade’s girlfriend. Levi really worked through his survivor’s guilt to work hard as team member and rescuing Billie from the hostiles and keeping them alive out in the treacherous ice of Antarctica until they can be extracted.
Billie and Levi were an interesting pair who had separate reasons for thinking they weren’t good enough for each other A secret hidden under the glacier ice in Antarctica has a scientist on the survival adventure of a life time, an ex-military pilot determined to save her and get his life back on track, a team looking for answers, and a ruthless mystery group determined to put them all on ice to protect a huge secret and get to the discovery first. Rescue Mission opened a new series full of action, intrigue, and romance and I was eager to keep the momentum going with this latest entry in a favored author’s series.
Hostile Mission is the second book in a connected series, Alpha Tactical Ops, of romantic suspenses that work best in order because of the overall series plot though a reader could successfully read it out of order if necessary since there is a standalone romance and adventure.
. She’d been putdown all her life out on her misogynistic parents’ cattle station and her boss who crossed a professional line with her. Levi was abused as a kid, had a part in his dad’s death he hasn’t gotten over, and then felt personally responsible when a member of his army team didn’t come back. He struggles with alcohol and now doesn’t think a bright sexy woman like Billie would think him good enough just as she sees this fit, heroic action hero and doesn’t think he could be interested in a researcher who had a crackpot theory. Mutual respect and attraction make them perfect and they do well together in extreme situations. I loved this pair together and the way they had each other’s backs against their separate family issues.
The series plot gets a tie-in when there is more proof of a connection from evidence they had from their failed mission, evidence at the business facility, and now evidence from the hostiles who came for what Billie found under the glacier ice. I’m sketchy on how it all pieces together like the rest of the team, but look forward to finding out the solution when it all comes together. Maya’s book is next and I’m so excited to see the woman sniper in action once again with a romance of her own.
All in all, the series holds strong and keeps me riveted and flying through the pages. Definitely recommend this action-packed romantic suspense series.
I rec'd an eARC via Book Sprout from the author to read in exchange for an honest review
My full review will post at The Reading Frenzy Aug 22nd
I was able to read a Beta version of this story and it is so full of heart racing, thrilling action that I couldn't stop reading it. I LOVED this story. It is a great continuation of the series and tells the story of Billie and Levi, whose code name is Wasp. I love the comradary between the team and enjoy all of their bantering. They truly seem like family and care deeply for each other. I enjoyed the way the book switched between the 3 characters view points, so that each chapter was what they were experiencing. This helps me to gain a connection to each of them. Each chapter ends at a crucial moment so that I wanted to keep reading to find out what happened to that character. I can't wait for the next book.
Hostile Mission - Book 2 was an absolute page turner, I finished reading the book in two days flat. Allowing the romance to live within the action packed moments but not take over was greatly appreciated. Kendall Talbot did a great job of showing the characters awareness of what's going on around them and their budding affection. Levi and Billie's chemistry was adorable but strong. Their energy together really contributed to the story line along with Levi's Team. I loved all of the characters especially Ghost and Billie. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves action sprinkled with a bit of romance. I'm excited for the next book in the series and can't wait to read it.

Wow. Hostile Mission is an amazing addition to Kendall Talbot's new Alpha Tactical Op's series This was a fast paced, intense read! Billie is a scientist currently working in Antarctica when, things go horribly wrong. Levi & his team are sent in to rescue someone, and they come across Billie. They work together to get home, while fighting their feelings for one another. This was such a great read! I highly recommend this series if you like to read romantic suspense!
Oh my word! I thought Escape Mission was amazing! But Hostile Mission is one up. Kendall is a phenomenal writer....drawing you into the characters and their missions with such expertise. I was riveted in the suspense! I cheered for the romance between Billie and Levi. I had such a hard time putting this one down.
Really loving this series and can't wait for the rest of the team to also get their HEAs. This story was full of action and suspense. It was great to see Levi find his place again, as he was in such a difficult place in book one. Billie was a sprite of a woman with a fiery personality who grabbed Levi's heart and roused his protective instincts...luckily she didn't give up on him and fought his stubbornness.
Kendall Talbot has done it again with her new book Hostile Mission!
Hostile Mission is full of heart pounding action, life threatening adventure and steamy romance scenes sprinkled in for good measure set in the treacherous emptiness of Antarctica.
I cannot wait to read the rest of the Alpha Tactical series!
Kendall Talbot is a MUST read author. I highly recommend ANY of her books.
Oh my unicorn Kendal has done it again at one point I nearly threw up! So well detailed even I was cold. Awesome story as normal. Can’t wait for the next instalment.
Book two in the Alpha Tactical Ops series is a fast paced, suspenseful and well written book. I was hooked from the get go. Billie is such a relatable character and the connection she has with Levi pulls you into the book. A must read sure not to disappoint.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Hostile Mission is the 2nd book in this series about an Australia-based Special Ops team - but the action takes place almost exclusively in Antarctica. What a unique setting with its own challenges, which are portrayed bone-chillingly realistic! The romance between Bilie and Levi takes a bit of a back seat but it's sweet to see how their feelings for each other grow. The ending is fairly abrupt, not quite a cliff-hanger but definitely not the end for this team of truly captivating characters!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Hostile Mission is the second book in Kendall Talbot’s Alpha Tactical Ops Series and if you like the thrills in a Jason Bourne novel or those of Mark Greaney and Brad Taylor then this author is a must read. In her latest story she takes you to Antarctica where Billie is trying to gather data to prove her theory on the effects of a melting glacier. Drilling through layers of ice, she and her assistant Aaron make an unexpected find. Aaron has been searching for this for four years. When he calls someone with what they have found, he sets in motion actions that will lead to widespread deaths and the dangers of facing the elements.
Blade and his unit were separated from the military after a disastrous mission. They have gathered to form a task force to handle emergency situations. When Blade’s girlfriend Zena receives a call from her father Aaron asking for help, Blade calls the unit together. Hawk, one of the unit’s former members, works for Australian intelligence and arranges transportation and supplies. Communication with the station in Antarctica has been lost and they will need all of their skills to face what awaits them.
While this is a mission for Blade’s task force, Talbot’s story revolves around Billie and Levi. She may be petite and suffer from some insecurities, but she knows her surroundings and becomes an asset to the team. As somewhat of a nerd, her primary concern is the environment. She never dreamed that she would be attracted to someone like Levi. He is a helicopter pilot who is dealing with his part in his father’s death. There is a strong attraction to Billie from the very beginning, but fears that she could never be attracted to him. They all have to survive the brutal cold and hostile forces before they can even consider personal relationships. Opening a Kendall Talbot book is like taking a ride on a roller coaster. Each time you take a breath there is another thrill right around the corner. I would like to thank the author and Booksprout for making this book available for my review.
Billie Everson is isolated in Antarctica for her research. Her employer, Mr. Chui, sent her there 4 years ago based on information handed down in his family since World War II. Others had looked for this item, but it was never found. If she could find it, her debt would be repaid and she could go home. She was looking for something specific under the ice, something that had been missing since the end of World War II, but the drill kept locking up. And when she finally finds something in her relentless search, she strikes something and sends a camera down to see what it is. The object is metal with rivets that indicated it had some kind of hatch. The three rivets on the left she estimated were about 200 years old, and a circular scratch on the surface was where she figured the drill had tried to get through. It also had a letter E with two dots above it. But suddenly the lights flickered and went out. The heating had stopped as well. She would not survive the cold if it did not re-start.
Aaron had stolen her satellite phone and abandoned her. She thought he had also told someone about her discovery. She tried to send a message through the computer, but it never went out. Would she die here? She had no way to reach someone and, if anyone called on the satellite phone, Aaron would lie and say things were fine. Her only hope now would be that a spec ops team might be brought in to rescue her. But time is running out. And if the enemies who want her discovery arrive first, she won’t make it out alive. She doesn’t know that ex-Army hero, Levi (Codename: Wasp) and his team are on the way to Antarctica to find out why Station Eleven has gone dark. Can they save Billie? Will they arrive in time?
This is such an exciting story line! The descriptions are so vivid that I had chills on my arms while reading it! The mystery surrounds the reader and keeps the tension on high. Grab your copy and be ready for an adventure like none other!
Hostile Mission, #2 - Begins two months after Escape ends. Told from Levi's point of view, his romance, too. Interesting. Intense. Intriguing. Lots of action and events running through these story lines. An old enemy rears its ugly head while the gang works a job on the South Pole. Some hairy bits that add to making it hard to put this book down. A new love; new jobs; new characters. 5*
Escape Mission, #1 - I love anything I've read so far by this talented, wacky author. Wacky as in full of personality, laughter and enjoying life to its fullest. This book, like so many others, is full of excitement, danger, intrigue, good characters and good story lines. There is romance, too. The romantic are always in heat, and I will admit that's a bit distracting in several places in this book. I have a hard time believing a professional soldier, Special Forces Ops to boot, would let T&A interfere with his planning and thoughts when they are about to get involved with some bad business that could get them killed. She is out of her experience field and should only care that part filling out the seat of his jean's is keeping her pants safe. Otherwise, this is an awesome read! Multiple stories all well blended into a hard to put down read. Although flawed, from battles, the crew is a bunch of likeable, realistic folk. The civilians have their baggage, too, but go well with the rest. Not many of the baddies are known but even baddie Marcus is OK. 5*
Rescue Mission, #3 - More fun, action, excitement and romance are found in this story. It is so hard to put down any book by the talented Ms. Talbot. Yes, the bedroom isn't only open but you, too, in the room, raft, etc. I skip the sex scenes and edit out some of the vulgar language but any book by Ms. Talbot is worth reading. There is plenty of happenings for Ghost and Neon adding to their romantic beginnings. Well blended are the old story lines with the new. While each book is great on its own, there are foundation stories continuing but no cliffhangers! 5*
Hostile Mission by Kendall Talbot Alpha Tactical Ops #2
Another thrilling chill ride filled with murder, mayhem, cutthroat dirty dealings, and a bit just enough romance sees another Alpha Tactical Ops member meet his mate in this ongoing story of a team trying to find the bad guy that created havoc on their last military operation.
What I liked: * The setting of Antarctica: cold, dismal, bleak, and deadly * Billie: tiny but mighty, brilliant, researcher, underestimated, left her family to save herself…and the world. * Levi: ex-military, helicopter pilot, coming out of a dark place, difficult backstory, there for his team and for Billie once he gets to know her * That the environment was a player in the story – had the power to kill as easily as a gun or knife * The connection between Billie and Levi * Getting to see members of the Alpha Tactical Ops team again * Learning a bit more about the person/group that is probably behind what happened on the catastrophic last operation the team went on * Wondering which team member will be up next to find their HEA and where the team will be working on their next mission * The way things worked out for Levi and his mother * That Billie was validated, again, for her choice to leave her childhood home and move on * Wondering if Billie’s boss will get a set-down, when it will happen, and how it will come about. * All of it really except…
What I didn’t like: * Who and what I was meant not to like * The bad guys that were truly evil along with what they did
Did I enjoy this book? Yes Would I read more in this series? Yes
Thank you to Booksprout and the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
Convinced that glaciers on Antarctica are melting and threatening the world's sea levels, climate scientist Billie Everson has managed to get a dream job studying Eubanks glacier. Unfortunately, she is sharing a remote and tiny hut with the obnoxious, Aaron Dixon. Just as Billie is about the find the proof that will give credence to her theory, metal is struck far below the ice at a level that should not have such recent material. Unbeknownst to her, the metal is exactly the thing that Aaron has been searching for. He takes off on the only snowmobile with all the evidence, leaving Billie stranded with no way to get back to the main station. When Aaron arrives at the Station Eleven, rather than the hero's welcome he expected, a large contingent of shady characters massacres everyone at the station. Barely escaping, Aaron phones his daughter, Zena, in Australia with an urgent message. The Tactical Ops team musters together on mission to Antarctica to rescue Aaron. This tale progresses in the voice of each major character as they face danger, cold, and insurmountable circumstances. As Billie and Aaron each try to survive in the hostile Antarctic winter, and the Tactical Ops Team works to rescue Aaron and neutralize the sinister Russian mob, Billie and Levi, aka Wasp, are drawn slowly and surely to each other. Who will survive the elements and the danger? And will Billie and Levi find love in each other's arms? This exciting romantic adventure will keep you absorbed and intrigued to the very end. I heartily recommend it to those who like to read an edgier, more exciting romance story.
The daring adventurers from Escape Mission are back for another high-octane adventure when they receive a cryptic distress call from Zena’s dad saying that everyone at Station Eleven, a research station in Antarctica, has been killed. It is decided that rescuing Zena’s dad, Aaron, and any other survivors will be the inaugural mission of the newly minted Alpha Tactical Ops team. What follows is a non-stop thrill-ride as this small band of heroes must confront a much larger force of highly-trained, heavily-armed enemies who are resolutely determined to accomplish their mission and leave no witnesses behind. Adding to the drama is the fact that all this action is set against one of the most hostile backdrops on the planet. The challenges are monumental. I enjoyed the way this story focuses more attention on a different member of the team from the previous book and I hope that trend will continue through the series because all the characters are truly interesting individuals and each is deserving of their own narrative. This story centers around Levi who has made great strides in combatting his personal demons, but who isn’t quite whole until a brilliant environmental scientist comes into his life and awakens feelings he had thought he would never know. I was totally invested in this stunning adventure from start to finish and am definitely looking forward to the next Alpha Tactical Ops mission.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily offering my honest and unbiased review.
Kendall Talbot has outdone herself this time with Hostile Mission. The second Alpha Tactical Ops book that has even more action than the first, Escape Mission, believe it or not. What begins as seemingly unrelated events soon brings the two main characters together. This is Levi’s (Codename: Wasp) of the Alpha Tactical Ops team and scientist, Matilda (Billie) Everson’s story. Then there is Aaron Dixon whose POV the readers also get. No one can give you a character to loathe like Ms. Talbot does, with Aaron being the one in this book for me. Now he is not the villain as such, that is someone much more diabolical and despicable but still Aaron is not the man I would want to know or be around.
This story moves at rocket speed told in three POVs. From Wasp, Billie, and Aaron’s perspective a complete picture of the events emerges. What a thrilling action packed hot story it is taking place in the freezing landscape of Antarctica. Still the team is researching what went wrong on their last military mission. This overarching theme is just as intriguing as the rescue mission to Antarctica. Edge of your seat and unputdownable romantic suspense.
This story is not shy in the profanity or steamy scenes department. Though it is difficult to be steamy when you are in such a bone-chilling environment but Wasp and Billie manage to do it quite believably.
An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher/author through Book Sprout which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I enjoyed book 1 but really loved book 2. Kendall described the setting with depth and got the severity of Antarctica across with suspense, angst, and emotion . I loved Billie. She was strong and plucky and wasn't a doormat around danger. levi...I'm sorry, blade, but your mate is awesome, if not a tad better. the story was paced nicely and kept you guessing about the mystery well into halfway through. there were no hotness scenes in this book but a slow burn instead. this worked nicely with the personalities of the 2 characters that were our stars. there was some baggage they needed to work through, and although it posed as obstacles for them, the emotion didn't run so deep as to rip you apart. if it had, I personally would have been asking for more back story and a longer book. so, for me, it was a good depth without becoming implausible. I had a belly laughing time with a situation in Levis day job. Antony's narration is just getting better. He did so well with inflections and tone, capturing the essence of the Australian psyche really well, especially Aaron, who i wanted to slap by the way. Justine is such a versatile lady. Her accents that I've heard have proved that many times over. I loved this Australian based book and do looking forward to the next one. Ghost is going to be awesome
Action packed page turner that grabs you from page one. This is book 2 of the series and I haven't read Book 1 but it is stand alone although it does make me curious enough to go looking for the first. Billie is a scientist in the antarctic who makes a discovery and unfortunately Aaron steals her research and discovery and trouble ensues. You can't help but like Billie who comes from a family who doesn't think much of female accomplishments so having her work all alone in the cruel environment tells you she's strong and kick ass. When the Russians descend then Aaron's calls on his estranged daughter who sends in the calvary. Levi, who is part of that team, has his own family issues so it's not surprising he and Billie find themselves attracted to each other. This book is told in first person from the perspective of three people. It keeps you turning the pages. I have to admit I would have liked to see Billies ex get his own in this book and the mystery of the discovery solved but I'm guessing it comes in the next books. This author has the knack for pulling the reader in and keeping the action high. I received this copy free for review but will be following this author in the future.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I enjoyed how this book toggles back and forth between 3 characters, plus a team, all very relevant in this story, and they all wind up on a trail that leads them into the same vicinity on the continent of Antarctica. The story, so well described, grabbed me so hard I could feel the frigid temperatures in my skin and the treacherous terrain of the icebergs kept my heart beating in my throat. This is yet another of Talbot's stories that never stops the pounding of thriller occurrences, one after the other, and it all begins with experienced researchers of Antarctica finding something locked deep within the ice that harbors a secret from world war II. Talbot's great title 'Hostile Mission' is only a glimpse of what this story holds, it's just 'the tip of the iceberg'! Without revealing spoilers, I will simply add that if you enjoy thrillers, mystery, tactical teams and yes, some bloodshed, I highly recommend this book, because it's more than all of that - there is a real human factor bringing you feelings that play on all of your heartstrings. Kudos to you Kendall Talbot, you turned this complicated story into another perfectly understood story and in my opinion, a best seller! It's both amazing and fantastic! 5+ stars!
Hostile Mission is book two in the Alpha Tactical Ops series by Kendall Talbot. Two people with different ideas about the world collided when Billie Everson, a scientist at a remote Antarctica research station, was in danger, and Levi came to her rescue. However, someone wanted the World War II artefact she found in Antarctica. Levi and his team became involved again to keep Billie Everson safe. The reader of Hostile Mission will continue to follow Billie and Levi to discover what happened.
Hostile Mission was another fantastic book by Kendall Talbot and an excellent addition to the Alpha Tactical Ops series. I engaged with the story and the characters from the first page. I love Kendall Talbot's portrayal of her characters and how they intertwine throughout this book. Hostile Mission is well-written and researched by Kendall Talbot. I like Kendall Talbot's description of the settings of Hostile Mission, which complemented the book's plot.
The readers of Hostile Mission will understand the problems that military personnel can have when they leave the military. The readers of Hostile Mission will learn about the role of a science station in Antarctica and the scientists who work there.
An adrenaline filled Antarctic adventure! Climate change scientist Billie Everson has finally been able to embark on her research mission at Eubanks Glacier. While drilling in the ice for core samples, Billie and fellow team member Aaron Dixon bring up metal fragments – a material that should not have been found in ice thousands of years old. This discovery triggers a chain of events that threatens the lives of all personnel at Station Eleven and launches Alpha Tactical Ops into a rescue mission. Ops pilot Levi Foster is immediately drawn to Billie and is determined to keep her safe. What has Billie discovered, why are the Russians so determined to get their hands on it and will Levi be able to overcome his demons and find love? Hostile Mission is action packed - with just the right level of romance and intrigue to keep the reader engaged. There are several simultaneous plot lines running through the story which give it complexity and depth. Even though this novel can be read as a stand-alone, there is a thread of unsolved mystery to entice you into anticipating the next book in the series. Can’t wait!
This action packed suspense filled romance story.Billie is a scientist studying global warming she's in Antarctica studying a glacier if her theory is right the world is in trouble. Her work buddy is Aaron an electrician. He's grumpy, loud mouth, angry all the time. When the drill freezes up as they bring it up is twisted in a way ice wouldn't twist it.When they find metal on the bit they are stumped. Bi llie decides to send down her camcorder she hands her camera to Aaron. When he sees something on the camera he grabs the stat phone an makes a call. When they get back to the apple Billie makes aback up copy of the cameras findings then opens up the findings on her computer an Aaron grabs the disk grabs the sat phone an takes off on a snowmobile.when he calls his daughter saying he's sorry they killed everyone an she asks where he is an he tells her. Will Alpha Special ops get permission to rescue her father.?there are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted until the very last page an leave you begging for more.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
This storyline is suspenseful and action-packed, with some attraction between Billie an Antarctica researcher and Levi/Wasp who is part of the rescue team sent.
The research season is days from being over and the Australian research base evacuated for the winter when Billie has an unexpected and curious discovery at the location she is drilling ice core samples. She catches the curmudgeon she is partnered with ending a suspicious phone call on her satellite phone. She is soon abandoned in her isolated shelter as an Arctic blizzard approaches.
The stakes are life and death due to the extremely harsh conditions and a simple mistake can have deadly consequences.
This was the first book I’ve read by this author. She does a fantastic job keeping the suspense ratcheted up for quite the adrenaline rush. The action is nearly nonstop and the characters are in peril from the subzero temperatures as much as from the deadly team sent in to recover what’s under the ice and to silence everyone at the Australian Station Eleven.
I received a free ARC from the author and Hidden Gems; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.
Our hero is a damaged soul, wounded by a failed mission, but saving our heroine becomes something that can help him move forward. Now they both just have to survive to see that future.
This is book two of the series, but it is written as a standalone. There are references to characters and events from the past book, but nothing essential to this story.
This is a romantic suspense story with an ex-military hero. The story is well written and easy to read with a fast moving plot that has more than its share of complications for our hero and heroine. The characters are well developed and have a lot of depth to them, including some past traumas that make it rather angsty at times. Fortunately, there is plenty of action to keep things focused and the slow burn chemistry between our characters is fun to watch. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable story and I can't wait to see the next book in the series.
Highly recommended.

An absolutely must-read series. If you love fast paced, non-stop action and suspense that keeps you turning page after page, this is the one for you. Billie is a scientist working in the extreme Antarctic hoping to prove the glacier is melting at a faster rate then realized. Only to find something hidden beneath the ice that will cause the death of every member and scientist at Station 11 near the South Pole and putting her life in danger too. A gripping, tense and outstanding storyline, along with the characters of Alpha Tactical Ops that are as intriguing and powerful as their personalities. The authors description of what unfolds makes you feel like you are right there experiencing all the suspense. I love this series and each book I have read is better then the one before. Can’t wait for the next one.

Couldn't put it down. It was a very suspenseful story. Billie was trying to save the world and Aaron was trying to get out of trouble. They were working together in the Antartica but Aaron had a secret mission. When he accomplished it, he left her all alone. She really thought she was going to die. But she is made of very stern stuff. I really didn't like her family, but maybe they helped make her how she was. When Wasp and his team come in to rescue her, sparks fly, but he won't act on it. He does have his reasons. The rescue scenes in the helicopter were great. I was holding my breath through them. The story was excellent and I can't wait until the next installment of the Alpha Tactical Ops Serie.
