May Grethe Lerum (born May 5, 1965, Sogn) is a Norwegian author and journalist. She is the author of the popular novel series "Livets døtre" (35 books) and "Solgudens krukke" (10 books), and her books have been translated to several languages.

The dystopian trilogy "Solstorm" is her first series aimed at young adults.
