Like so many books of essays by multiple authors, Resist! is extremely uneven. I don't know if the blame for that should rest on the editor or the individual authors or both, but in the final analysis it's a three-star rating from me. The book certainly contains some very good essays, particularly the ones addressing climate justice and its relationship to peacemaking, but a lot of the essays are overlong, off topic, and generally unclear.
