Two women share a mother in Fate. But will Fatality be their father? When Bambi Moore is entreated upon by her firm partner to consider the legal representation of a tricky client, she is confronted with a surprising revelation.Jasmine Clarke, only mindful of finding a way out of her circumstances, is drawn into the issues of her mother—soon to realize the unexpected personal relevance they may have.

When these events make the lives of the two women intersect, neither can begin to suspect the snowballing consequences of their meeting.

For it is said that Chicago hides many secrets. Yet, others use the city to hide their own.

Kyrill Petrov emerges as one of its many ghosts, and his intentions as the Bratva’s leader are still very much alive.

How will this figure resurfacing from the underworld determine the set of events about to unfold?

Could his lingering influence leave the meeting of two strangers merely as a bizarre situation?

Or is it doomed to be an unfortunate reunion?

Great continuation of the series as the two women finally get to meet. There is still more to uncover as they grapple with the doppelganger issue and their obvious mental connection. Bambi getting her first experience in Jasmine’s life troubles is confronting, interested to see how that develops.

YIKES!

If this were happening to me, I'd call Raymond Reddington to give me a cover ID and a new address.

On to the next one!
