Welcome to Little Cakes, the bakery that plays Daddy matchmaker!
Cardio is good for the heart, but it isn't the answer to finding love.
Rebounding from her husband's affair and their subsequent divorce, Sue Taylor is on a mission to make herself irresistible to men. Convinced that exercise will fix whatever made her ex look elsewhere, she joins the gym near Little Cakes and commits to putting in the work.
When fate leads Davis Irving to coach Sue through her first workout at his gym, the silver fox is captivated by the cheerful woman in his charge. He knows his search for someone special to care for has ended. Sue doesn't need crunches, just the special training of an experienced and devoted Daddy.
Little Cakes is a sweet and satisfying series, but dare to taste only if you like delicious Daddies, luscious Littles, and guaranteed happily-ever-afters.

I hope this isn’t indicative of the rest of the series to come. I’ve enjoyed this series so far for what it’s been. But this story was too disjointed to really enjoy at all. It would have been a DNF if I wasn’t so involved in all the side characters already. The H really steamrolled over the h, and there was NO explanation of how the H knew the h was little, or even *any* explanation of their getting to know you where we would even know WHY he was interested in her. One paragraph they’re working out and the next the H just knows she’s perfect. It was absolutely jarring. I had to re-read that area twice to make sure I didn’t miss something.
I don’t read these expecting some great love story. These are cute, quick reads and I like seeing everyone we’ve already met and seeing a HEA. I know they’ll all be insta-love, which is not my favorite, but this book didn’t even leave a plausible reason WHY there would be insta-love.
The ex husband and boss got off WAY too easy. I was looking forward to Sue’s story because she’s been described as a little older than the other female characters and was hopefully getting an older man. This was all glossed over. The H was a “silver fox” and that’s the only difference between these characters and any other age. The H glosses over consent over and over. I also am really starting to HATE that every single story has diapering. Not all littles regress past a certain age. Not all littles like diapering. Also, there’s no discussion of limits. There’s never a discussion of the h not liking something. It’s just always “Daddy knows best”… This story is so far out of the realm of realistic BDSM at this point…we’ve veered out of a fictional “real” world and into an idealized fantasy where all littles like the exact same things and automatically trust someone they’ve known for two seconds to love them for always. I will give the next book in this series a chance, but I won’t continue reading if there’s not some changes.
Black Forest is the sixth book in the Little Cakes series penned by Pepper North and Paige Michaels. In this age-play romance, readers meet Sue and Davis. Sue is a kind, sweet, and courteous lady. She is a divorcee working at Little Cakes. Her ex-husband, Troy, was verbally abusive and continues to harass her even after their divorce. Davis is a tall, handsome silver fox. They meet when she goes to his fitness gym, Fitness Haven. There is an instant attraction between them. While Sue is harassed by Troy, Davis is harassed by a gym patron, Elizbeth Richards. Focusing his attentions to satisfy his DD tendencies, Davis pursues Sue and soon they are in a relationship. However, both of their nemeses, acting separately, try to sabotage their relationship. Are they successful? What does Troy do? What does Elizabeth do? Is it possible that Sue and Davis find their HEA? You must read this book to discover what unfolds.
This book is a charming quick read capturing the magnetism of love. These authors continue to demonstrate remarkable skill in creating diverse and appealing characters that fit the opposites attract theory. The main characters have chemistry between them. I admire how these two authors incorporate the other characters from subsequent books to build a little community. Like the other books in this series, this one is beautifully written with great dialog and descriptive scenes that capture the readers attention. Nicely done, ladies!
This was another good book in the Little Cakes series. I liked this book. This was about a woman named Sue Tayler who is rebounding from her husband’s affair. He was very emotionally abusive to Sue. He talked about her weight and made her doubt herself.
Sue works at Little Cakes Bakery. She decides to join a gym near the bakery. She meets Davis Irving who is a trainer at the gym. He meets Sue as he helps her during her first workout in the gym. The silver fox trainer is captivated by Sue. He realizes that his search for that someone special to care for is over. I liked how Davis boosted her self confidence by reminding her that she was beautiful. Sue kept her Little side hidden from her husband but with Davis she finds her Daddy. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
This book of the series was just ok for me. I didn't like it nearly as much as the others. Davis was great but there was a definite lack of chemistry and more of a steam-rolling vibe especially since he basically just made her do everything she was uncomfortable with without further discussions/consent...just a this is what daddy wants, daddy thinks this is best excuse to overrule her. Still a sweet story though and a quick read.
All I can say is WOW. The Little Cakes Series just keeps getting better and better. Book six, Black Forest is so heartwarming but also unpredictable. After a bad marriage and divorce from a cheating husband, Sue decides to make a change and join a gym. Little does she know that the gorgeous owner of the local gym, Davis has set his eyes on her. While building their relationship Davis supports Sue while she deals with a jealous rival and a surprising secret brought on by her ex. With the trust and love built between the two, Sue finds the strength to live the life she was truly meant to live while encouraging the self esteem Sue has been lacking. I laughed, I cried and I snuggled with my favorite stuffie while I devoured the latest creation brought to us by the unbeatable team of Paige Michaels and Pepper North. paige-michaelspepper-north
𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧 is the latest installment in the Little Cakes series and is another fantastic Daddy/Little Girl romance.
Sue is a little bit broken thanks to a marriage gone bad, but all that changes when she meets sexy gym owner, Davis. He falls hard for the curvaceous beauty who can’t believe that the sexy beefcake wants her. Davis is determined and he proves himself to be both the Daddy and man she needs.
I enjoyed watching Sue and Davis fall in love. I’m giving 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧 the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!
Sue is recently divorced and working for the first time in a while. All the girls at the bakery tell her that everything will work out and she will find her Daddy. Davis at Fitness Haven has decided that he has found his forever Little. As in any new relationship they run into many obstacles including her ex-husband. The story is just adorable and the characters, OMG just too adorable for words.
I read an early review copy of this book for an honest review.
Another sweet Little Cakes story. Sue is such a sweet girl but her confidence has been destroyed by her ex. Step one for her is joining the gym.....what she didn't plan for was Davis Irving, the gym owner.
Davis was immediately drawn to Sue and does everything his in power to show her that she's beautiful just the way she is while also proving that he's the perfect Daddy for her Little.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow what can I say besides the stories just keep getting better, Paige Michael's and Pepper North really do an awesome job bringing these fantastic characters into our homes and into our hearts. The emotions is like a rollercoaster, with the sad, angry, fear, courage, happy, heart palpitations, and love. Sue was working at Little Cakes when her ex-husband came into the shop causing trouble making her feel disgraceful, so she decided to go to the gym to sign up for membership. Davis is the owner of the gym, he shows her around knowing she is a little he tells her he will show her the equipment. He sets a time for her to come so he will show her how and what equipment she needs to achieve her own goal. The next day he has to do measurements and weight for her card, she didn't want to stand on the scales but as soon as he called her little one that instantly put a smile on her face, then he coaxed her on the scales and said he will forget what he saw that it will only be her and her card that will know that made her very happy, until she went to the locker room to change. She met a nasty female in the locker room and told her to stop perving on Davis, he would not be interested in someone like her that is fat, that made her angry and she ended up saying have a good day. When Sue left the locker room he noticed something was wrong and asked her about it she told him it was nothing he told her not to lie or he will punish her. She still found it hard to trust him or anything he said to her, she had listened to her husband for to many years. I loved this story and highly recommend buying this book.
Davis and Sue find each other in the most unusual way
Sue worked at Little Cakes shop and was hoping she would someday find her Daddy like the other girls did. She went through a horrible divorce from a condescending husband. She had low self-esteem from him. He cheated on her with his boss. She decided to go to the gym in the same mall that Little Cakes was in. Conveniently located to work. She didn't have great expectations, but she was determined to try. Here, she met Davis, the owner of the gym. He wouldn't let her talk about herself in a condescending way. He took her around to train her on the equipment. He was interested in her. He found his little. Sue couldn't believe that this silver fox was interested in her. She was ordinary and just a regular everyday woman. He loved her for who she was. Sweet and funny. But he knew she had secrets from her past. He knew someone had hurt her. He told her not to list to what her ex had told her. She was everything he wanted in a little. Many things come out during their relationship about her past with her ex. Her husband was a little, and his boss was the Mommy. She was shocked but now understood. Davis did everything to make Sue his. Showering her with love and making her his little forever. Must read. How much patience Davis had to convince Sue he wanted her forever. Great story by Paige Michaels and Pepper North
A wonderful addition to the series, characters were written wonderfully along with the scenario
This was a wonderful addition to the Little Cakes Bakery stories and the group of Littles that work there and their wonderful Daddies and the lives they have all made together, they are all in very happy Daddy and Little relationships, some of the couples are also married to each other.
Sue works at the bakery and although she is very happy there, she is also feeling a little lonely and wants to change her life up a little so she decides that she is going to join an exercise class, she thinks that this will give her a little more faith in herself and help her be more assertive.
As she starts at the gym near Little Cakes, she meets Davis Irving who is the coach and at workout at the gym she calls him “The Silver Fox” and she feels that there is a strange chemistry between them both. Davis has been searching for his own Little for years and is fairly confident that he has found her, all he has to do is to convince her of the same fact but this will not be easy.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
The flavors available at Little Cakes are as varied as the staff members that work there and their friends. Sue is one of the valued staff and she loves her friends and the cupcakes. Her problem is that the cupcake calories contribute to her weight problem. However, her “problem” is mostly the result of negative input from her unfaithful, abusive, ex-husband. When she joins a gym to get back in shape she meets the owner, Davis, and her reclamation begins. The first thing that Davis notes is that she is not overweight, she is perfect to him. He also recognizes that she is a “little” with very negative self-image problems. Their budding relationship is a hot (and a different type of heavy) Daddy/Little one, even though Sue didn’t know she was a little. His loving support and true Daddy nature work wonders for her. Another well written D/l romance with great characters (both good and bad) and some new twists that you will not see coming! Delicious, as always! 5 Stars I received and advance copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.

YAY 🤗 We get another delicious cupcake 🧁😋 and beautiful story, from Paige and Pepper 💖 I really loved this story, because it was about healing, and learning to love yourself as you are ♥️ I loved Davis and Sue 😍 They had fantastic chemistry, and he was a great Daddy for Sue 🥰 Sue is having a lot of self esteem issues, due to her ex husband. He would always say terrible things about her weight. Sue decides to start going to the gym, across the street, from Little Cakes. Davis owns that gym, and when he sees Sue, his Daddy instincts instantly kick in. Sue is confused, because she thinks nobody would ever accept her, because of her weight. Davis encourages Sue in every way, not just with helping her at the gym, but also to heal and accept herself 💜 There are also other issues along the way, like Sue learning a secret about her ex, and a woman, who frequents the gym, trying to get her hooks into Davis. This was a fantastic story and I can’t wait for our next cupcake 💖 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES 💙🌷
Sue Taylor has a jerk for an ex and feels like she needs to make a change in her life. Working for Little Cakes can be bad for your figure. When we Sue decides to go to the local gym, she doesn’t know what to expect. Davis Irving is the owner and interested in Sue. She has all the right curves and also needs a Daddy to love and take care of her. He decides to be her private trainer. But he lets her know that she is beautiful just the way she is. He would not only be her trainer but also her Daddy. Sue ex Troy treated her badly. We learn a lot about Troy as well. But Sue still needs to learn to have confidence in herself. This one is a sweet story. Sue learns to not only trust but find her inner little. Davis is great. I love that he is not only guiding her but showing her love and protecting her. There is one person that is trying to put a wedge between them but Sue learns to push back. We have more little’s that need Daddies. I am looking forward to reading about Avery.
Every time I read one of these books I always go away feeling good and more in touch with my own little side. Sue is a Little and works for Little Cakes, Sue has had a terrible divorce from her husband who belittled her, the emotional abuse she suffered has paid it’s toll. Sue has decided that she is going to join the gym to lose the weight that she has been told she needs to.
Davis is the owner of the gym across the road from Little Cakes, Davis is a Daddy, he recognises that Sue is his Little and goes about trying to win her. This is their story, I cried with Sue when she was going through her emotional trials and celebrated her with her when she realised that she was in love with Davis. I absolutely loved this story and couldn’t put the book down until the very end.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.
Every book in this series has been great. I've loved all the characters and enjoy seeing them pop up in the new books. Sue got out of an abusive relationship and is working at Little Cakes. Across the street is a gym run by Davis. When she decides to join and try and lose some weight, Davis decides he is going to be the one to train her. He's pretty sure she is the Little he's been looking for but he's going to have to do some damage control, left over by her ex. There's a bit of other woman drama with someone else who has her eye on Davis but he doesn't pay any attention to her. Little by little, Sue and Davis become close and she feels more and more comfortable identifying at a little. Her Ex was cruel and mean to her so when the little twist comes into play, I was caught completely off guard. Well done ladies!!! I loved, loved, loved this story so much!
It has a similar premise to Ava Sinclair’s “Trained by Daddy”: a Daddy gym owner/trainer and a Little who thinks they are physically unattractive get together when the Little decides they need to lose weight and join a gym. If you liked that story at all, you’ll LOVE this!
More specifically about Sue is that she has recently gone through a messy divorce with a terrible cheating ex. Davis is immediately taken with her and makes his attraction known in an obvious, yet appropriate way. He teaches her about balance in workouts, diet, emotions, and relationships.
Minor antagonist elements for both Davis with a client at the gym and Sue with her ex, but the conclusion of each was a surprising turn of events. We get to catch up with the other Littles and Daddies of Little Cakes too. Age play, ABDL, light medical play, spanking, and stalking.
Davis is the hot owner of the gym across the street from Little Cakes, where Sue works. A bit insecure after her divorce, she decides to start working out to feel better about herself. She's a Little, but only dreams of a Daddy of her own. When she walks through the door, Davis knows he has found the Little girl he has been looking for. Now to convince Sue of that! With flaming hot chemistry, Davis and Sue's love story is incredible. He teaches her so much about having a Daddy to love and take care of her. She has only read about Daddies in books, and Davis is so patient with her, no matter what. The characters are well written and the story is a fun and quick read. Not to be missed, it is quite worth the one click.
I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Davis was so good for Sue.. He helped.her realize that she was perfect way she was. Showed her , through loving and examples of caring
Her ex husband always putting her down. Actually he was one with self doubts, took.it out on Sue . which was wrong! Also cheating on her , with his boss ! His boss irritated me, she acted like Troy was.just had hard time ! Bull ! His boss was no better . She (boss)should made him own up to his ex wife . Viloa ( boss ) should never had the affair until he was divorced! I’m glad sue with Davis now . He lot better than her ex .
I'm so glad sue found.I'm the best daddy ever and amazing Man who truly loved her for who.she was- Women / Little He will always put her first . Loved this.book This.series is.amazing little cakes characters are amazing 💜
Black Forest by Pepper North and Paige Michaels is the sixth book in the Little Cakes series and it was such a sweet treat of a read!
Sue and Davis are a delight! Sue is endearing, if a bit self effacing, her confidence knocked by her ex, and I loved witnessing her rebuild it for herself! Davis is charming, a go getter, driven, and playful yet stern, a delicious combination.
This story is all about taking chances, trusting people who care, accepting love for yourself and who you are, and so much more! It's a dive into the deep end of the pool, knowing someone who cares about you will always be there to support you.
P. S. It was nice to see so many familiar faces! I can't wait for what comes next!
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I have been addicted to this series and enjoyed reading Sue's story. She has watched the other Littles find their special Daddies and felt a little heartache for her own failure in love. She never expected Davis and the changes he would bring into her life. He plans to help her get her self worth back and find her Little side. These two were so close yet hadn't met until her trip to the gym. He had been waiting for the perfect woman and here she is. I thought Davis was the best Daddy for her. Sue finds a part of herself that she never knew how to express and certainly didn't expect to find love again. Great characters with a sweet and steamy love story. I am looking forward to the next book in the series
Who is Sue Taylor? Where is she from? What does she do for work? How do we meet her? Oh, this was one of the most fun reads that I have read. I really liked Davis!! Who is Elizabeth? What is her "problem?" I had to just shake my head and roll my eyes each time she showed up in the story. My eyes practically bulged out of my head when I learned what her 'deal' was near the end of the story. Holy smokes!!!! Who is Troy? How does he figure into the picture? I wanted to throttle him for what he did. What did he 'demand'? Why? What do we learn? I did not like Victoria at first, but she grew on me quickly, and as you read, you will see why. She seemed nice. This was a great continuation of this series! I hope you enjoy it like I did.
Sue Taylor thinks that getting in shape at the gym opposite Little Cakes will get her past her husband's affair and subsequent divorce. When gym owner Davis Irving coaches Sue through her first workout at his gym he is captivated by the cheerful woman. He also knows that she doesn't need crunches but the training of an experienced and devoted Daddy like him.
I liked this story with the woman who was emotionally scarred from a marriage that was a tragic mistake thanks to the twist in this story and how both she and her husband had found their happiness. David was just so nice and gentle with her and it was wonderful to see her blossom with the happiness and security he gave her. This story was easy to read and understand. Contains mature content of a BDSM DDLG variety.
Another wonderful book in the Little Cakes series! Sue who works at Little Cakes, trying to get over an ex who did a number on her self esteem, decides to join a gym across from work. Enter in Davis the owner of the gym, who sees Sue and knows she's his Little. And so their path begins.. Davis helps Sue deal with her self esteem and deal with life after her abusive ex. A little twist happens that I never saw coming! (And I usually can see them lol) Davis and Sue get their HEA and this was such a feel good story, with a little heat, protectiveness and catching up with friends from the other books as well. Wonderful read! Can't wait for the next in the series!!
I could relate to Sue on a very personal level. Not the divorced part, or the horrible ex because I'm lucky to have a husband who doesn't mind my curves, but I still don't feel comfortable with the way I look. It's based on childhood trauma, though. The way Davis goes about showing Sue that she is worth loving melted my heart and warmed my soul. Everyone deserves a partner, or in Sue's case a Daddy, who will continue to reinforce how wonderful and valuable they are.
I loved this sweet story! The writing is amazing, the characters are loveable, and the steamy scenes are hot. The whole series is fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves this genre.
There is something so soothing about the Little Cakes books. There's enough angst and problems to solve that they are interesting and really draw you into the characters. I loved Sue and Davis. I loved watching her heal in the love of her daddy. I even felt sympathy for her ex...well a bit of sympathy anyway. I love the world of Little Cakes and wish it were a real place. "Apparenty Little Cakes had the ability to cast a magic spell on everyone who entered" I adore this series. 5+ stars and 5+ hearts (or Cupcakes😘)
I loved this addition to the Little Cakes series. Sue works at the bakery with Ellie, Riley and other Littles. She is recovering from a divorce from her cheating ex. He comes by and tries to bully Sue into letting him have an heirloom from her family. Sue resists and he becomes abusive. Sue decides that she needs to lose some weight and joins a gym where she meets Davis, a Daddy. She is insecure about her appearance, but Davis works to reassure her that she is the one that he wants. They end up with their HEA, but Sue and Davis have to work hard on it.
I have been waiting for Sue's story and it made for such a good read. I loved that she meets Davis when she goes to his gym. Davis knows immediately that Sue is a little and that she's his. He was so good at just reminding her to be healthy not skinny. I loved that Sue was seriously so sweet and was sad that went through a nasty divorce but she finds out more in this book. Every time I visit Little Cakes I'm so happy with the book and looking forward to more. I received an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.
