Everything I thought I knew about my life was a lie. Now I’m the only one left to assemble the broken pieces.
With new mystical powers and both sides of fangers on my tail, my best option is to run, but I can’t. Not when the vampire who killed my “parents” is trying to raise the god of death. If he succeeds in resurrecting the immortal who sired all vamps, all of Azar is royally screwed.
And here’s the kicker—the rebel king needs my blood to do it.
As if things weren’t complicated enough, I still have a blossoming mate bond to a vampire and his dead wolf to deal with. I know I shouldn’t be with him, but every bone in my body compels me to his. I can’t fight the irresistible pull to complete our bond any longer, but what will happen when we do?
I doubt we’ll get our happily ever after when the god of death sets us in his immortal sights. *** This is an upper YA/NA crossover with schmexy, sinful vampires and is best suited for ages 17+. Be warned this is a slow burn enemies-to-lovers romance, and the steaminess factor does increase through the course of the series! ♥ *** Vampish is set within the world of Azar, along with (in reading order) Hitched, Darkblood Academy, Royally Hitched, Darkblood Prison, and Wolfish but it's not necessary to read the other series first to enjoy this one.
G.K. De Rosa has been an avid reader from a very young age. In fact, before she could even read, she tried fooling everyone into thinking that she could. At the precocious age of two, while living in Italy, she had memorized an entire children’s book in Italian and expertly turned the pages at the exact right moments of the story. As she grew up, she always enjoyed literature, no doubt having been instilled with a love of story telling from her early years in Catholic school where she was greatly influenced by exemplary teachers who taught her the value of English and Literature. Though she did not pursue writing in college and instead went for the more traditional route of International Business inspired by her love for travel and all things foreign, after a move to New York City, she found her creative writing side calling once again. She began writing a restaurant review blog, City Lights and Tasty Bites, detailing her other passion – food! The hectic hustle and bustle of the city, combined with long commuting times gave her the opportunity to spend more time reading and rekindled a lost love. After reading countless books in many diverse genres over the two years in New York City, and returning to her home state of Florida, she felt compelled to write something for herself. She had always felt particularly drawn to Young Adult novels and having been an eternal romantic at heart, a fantasy romance was a natural choice. She currently lives in South Florida with her real life Prince Charming and their fur baby, Nico the German Shepherd.
There is action aplenty in this book and twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you read it faster and faster to see what happens next
Ronin has taken over the castle and become king of the vampires for the moment but the queen has asked for Nix’s team to help her recapture the castle and her throne. Ronin’s wizard is striving to bring back death to a corporal form again and has captured Azara as part of his plan. Nix and one of her team mates comes upon a horde of vampires loyal to Ronin and sadly her teammate is lost. Nix vows to finally end Ronin in the showdown battle to avenge her parents deaths at Robin’s hands so long ago. Death leaves Ronin on his own against Nix with no support so the outcome is satisfying to say the least. However, later on the tables are turned for Nix when instead of her trading herself for Azara, Ransom steps in and takes her place allowing the others to escape.
GK’s series always leave you limp after reading them because you’re so emotional wrung out with all the action, suspense, adventure and heart pounding excitement you read about! This book is no different and I can’t wait for the next book to come out so I can see how Nix saves Ransom’s hide once again! It’ll be an exciting ride for sure!!
You must read GK’s series from the first book or you’ll miss so much of what has transpired with these characters who quickly become your friends! While you can enjoy reading this book, the feeling will be nothing like it will be if you haven’t read the previous books in the series!
I recommend this series to all who enjoy paranormal romance, action, adventure, intrigue and suspense along the way. You’ll find the series hard to put down!
Get wrapped up in this series and discover the fun and joy of reading a good book again! You’ll smile and shed tears in this book for sure- I did- but it reflects life as it is because unfortunately in wars in real life or in fantasy casualties do occur so be prepared for that.
You have a well written story with characters you’ll love and those you’ll hate but the writing keeps you glued to the pages as you turn them just as fast as you can.
Get this series and enjoy the love of reading once again! You’ll be glad you did!!
Once more the reader is caught by the intrigues, romance, fun, and struggles that surround Nix, Ramson, and their friends. A story of discovering facts that will change their paths and future, a story that solidifies their love and friendship. A story that captivates from the very beginning. A story that worth you reading.
This is the third book in this series and the storylines just keeps getting better. The interaction between the characters is great and the story is filled with action and adventure. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
A continuing story with lots of fireworks. The good versus the bad. Phoenix was in charge of a team to kill vampires. Along the way Ransom, a vampire became friends and then more. Trying to find the kingpin of the vampires and the scary information of what he was trying to do was shaking up everyone and he also wanted Phoenix's blood. Get ready for more excitement and this is a cliff hanger.
This is an entertaining PNR storyline filled with action, great characters, and friendships. This continuation of the series has a fast-paced and a heck of a cliffhanger.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved Nix and Ransom in this book as we get to see their relationship grow. We learn more about Ransom. This book will answer some questions and still leave you with some. You will not want to wait for the next book
Omg nix and ranson finally give into ther mate bond and realise that do love each other ots not the blood sharing and then bamb a royal spanner thrown it to the works ronin is hell bent in bring the god of death back to lift the curse for the vamps, everyone is after nix because of her bite of death.. this book was action pack full of twist and has you on the edge of your seat definitely my favourite so far loved it.
Ronin is bent on bringing back Thanatos. He's trying to collect the ingredients and overthrow the Queen. Phoenix, Ransom and their friends are all that stands in the way. Sacrifices will be made in the battle. Ransom and Phoenix grow ever closer. It's pulse pounding nonstop action. I volunteered to read this book via Booksprout.
5+ ⭐ Holy fanger! Nix spends more time with her brother while hiding from the Queen. Ransom makes a deal with the Queen to save Nix but at what cost. The team has a loss but so does the Vampires. Just when you think things for Nix and Ransom are going good all he!! breaks loose! Ends with a heart wrenching cliffhanger! I can't wait to read more!
This is the best book so far in this series that I love. Fast paced and action packed, with intense romance and friendships. The plot thickens and ends with the most horrible cliffhanger ever. I have no idea what is going to happen to Ransom and Nix now, and cannot wait to see where this is going. Excellent appearances from Talon, Azara and Luci.
Overall it is a good and solid book. There is a lot of action, suspense, sexy scenes, humor and great main and second characters. The story is pretty entertaining as well. So why the 3 Stars? In my opinion it needed better character development. Also, the dialogue was very juvenile at times, which took away from the story making it a good book instead of a great one.
Ransom is the best thing about this series. Red is just not a good character. She's extremely hard to like and Ransom deserves someone better. She rarely has anything nice to say to him. She's hands down the worst h I've ever read in a book. This author is do a disservice to him by mating him to this awful person. I usually read a book in 2 days but it took me almost 2 weeks to finish this because of the h.
G.K. DeRosa does not disappoint with this enemies to lovers addition to the Vampish series. Blood Bonds may just be my favorite out of the series yet. The action, lover quarrels, romance, betrayal, twists, and surprises will leave you unable to book down. Seriously, this is a one day read for those dedicated Ransom lovers. I laughed, I cried, I yelled, I couldn't book the book down. Handsome Ransom is sexy as hell, infuriating, stubborn, and selfless, what is NOT to love? Red, well, she is still a bad ass, sexy, stubborn, selfless sicari. But in Blood Bonds, we finally see a softer side to Red, which makes her more vulnerable and a loveable character.
G.K. DeRosa's writing transports you right into the world of Azar. She continually brings back characters from other series and intertwines them into her current stories. Giving her readers exactly what they want, an insight into the ongoing lives of the characters we fall in love with.
Our story continues with the blossoming mate bond of Ransom and Red and the impending arrival of none other than the God of Death, Thanatos. Sorry to disappoint ladies, but Ransom seems to be head over heels with Red. Will he come clean and tell Red the truth about the mate bond? Will Red ever admit to being head over heels in love with Ransom? You will have to read to find out. So many questions are answered throughout! Happy Reading!!
This is why i wait for a series to be complete b4 i binge bcoz i cannot handle the angst that comes after cliffhangers hahaha I'm loving this series and i dare say I love it more than wolfish 💜
As Ronin and his warlock come closer to freeing Thanatos the attacks on the queen become more frequent and more Sicari are lost in the process. With Nix's secret out about her wolfs mortal bite she and Ransom are forced into hiding after the queen trys imprisoning her but after Ronin takes the queens castle and throne she finally realizes that she'll need Ransom and Nix as allies and not enemies. After the loss of one of her teams members it leaves Nix desperate to not lose anyone else close to her and she'll go to any length to keep that promise to herself especially after she can finally admit how in love with her vampy mate she is but when she's given a choice to take her special blood which is vital to removing the curse that binds vampires to the night out of the equation, Ransom refuses to let her sell her humanity for the sake of everyone else. Instead he finds a way to serve himself up as the sacrificial lamb saving red from doing the unthinkable. But Ransom definitely forgot who his mate is and she'll literally burn down the world in wolf form to get him back.
Can't wait for it all to come to a head in the final book.
Another great title by GK!! The title for this is perfect because we get to see so many past characters and delve into pasts of characters we already know. This book had me laughing so much I LITERALLY COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. Then again i also wanted to punch certain characters while hugging others and wishing to get them away from GK. :) Also, Bardy is back everyone!! We are saved!! *little bit of spoiler time cause fangirl* Talon is back and he is a force to be reckoned with!! Our broody dragon actually has a decent role in this book and I'm just EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Also can I say Sera is my other favorite and we get to see her too. 😊😊 *spoiler over* All in all, fantastic book and I NEED THE FOURTH ONE NOW 😂😂 🦇❤🐺🖤🐉.

>I am an independent reviewer. This is the 3rd book in the Vampish series and ends in a cliffhanger. Phoenix and Ransome fully embrace their fated mate status, but do not complete the bond process. They are either interrupted or they decide to wait. Once more, their indecisiveness is tiresome. For the first time, there is a loss of a main character. Huge battles and intrigue keep the book moving.
>Thanatos is collecting the special creatures needed to break a curse. Finding out how Ransom is involved was the world’s worst kept secret. I love how Alpha-protective Ransome is towards Phoenix. Phoenix is a character least likely to need or want protection.
> This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. Ransom’s sacrifice to save Phoenix better turn out to be a good idea!
The story is full of excitement, tough choices, and intense moments. I love how all the characters unite to take down the villain. However, the sudden death of a character caught me off guard. Just when things were looking up, it was a heartbreaking twist.
The mystery lingers in the air - what is Phoenix's true purpose? How will they overcome Thanatos? Will Phoenix and Ransom's connection withstand the challenges ahead and are they going to finally seal the bond? All will be revealed in the final book and I'm excited to find out!
Make sure to read the earlier series set within the World of Azar before diving into Vampish, as many familiar characters make a comeback or are referenced throughout the story. If you skip them, you'll be missing out on all the fun! Hope you're having a blast like I am! 😁.
Ronin un-castles the Queen (though she takes her throne to her temporary digs); the council is made aware of the situation in Nocturne and give the queen an ultimatum as she reminds Ransom of their bargain for Nix’ safety. Nix’ team is down by one and Azara’s kidnapped and the angels reveal the souled vampire as Nix changes her mind (several times) about mating Ransom and Thanatos arises and has all new needs for the next phase of the plan.
Overall, every trope is used in this action-packed outing with many, many close-ups of the bland heroine and too many pages re-telling what was told several pages earlier. Aargh, though I want to like this series more than I do, similarities to ‘Wolfish’ and the amount of filler continue to plague this reader. Rating: 3stars
Ok, G.K., this was NOT COOL!!!!! I know you love to torment us, but this is beyond torment!
Now that I have that out of my system, I can honestly say this series is an absolute must read! Ok, all her series in this universe are must read, but this one especially! DeRosa is the queen of setting the mood and stage with the best characters and situations possible. Her work e-books ing is amazing, and her demonic sense of humor shows in every word. If she just loved cliffhangers a bit less, it would be easier on my heart, but otherwise, she and her books are perfect!
Another, almost, sleepless night to finish this one off. Started immediately on the last book (4) of this series as I can't wait to find out how it ends.
Thus far this has been a great series of books, I have loved them. The characters remain more or less the same, some are sadly taken from us in battles and more appear, but Nix and Ransom and their battle and love story continue strong throughout. The story line is a strong one and has never faltered once throughout the books, no weak points in the plots and not plot errors. Great writing, I am hoping there are some more of this authors books that I may have missed as I am becoming quite addicted to them
The angst continues between Ransom and Phoenix in this third installment in the Vampish series. Just when they feel like they might be making progress in the battle against Ronin and Thanatos, a curve ball gets thrown their way and Ransom is left making a decision about what to do next.
Ransom and Phoenix are finally forced to face how they feel, at least a little bit. It was good to see them each acknowledge what they've been feeling towards each other. Both of them have grown a lot since the first book in the series!
I have thoroughly enjoyed the character building. I always get sucked into the world of Azar and G.K.'s characters and end up binge reading the book until I'm done.
We're left with a huge cliffhanger in preparation for book 4. I am so anxious to see where everything falls and how it all comes to a close!

Let me get this out of the way first, HOLLLY FANGER! I have never wanted to scream and yell so badly at the end of the book as I did this one. Have you read the first two? If not.. STOP NOW and go read the first two!! Do not read this without the others. Is it too soon to ask about the next book?! Oops! Book 3, Blood Bonds is a book I absolutely could not put down! I read the entire book in one sitting and am still reeling from it. GK DeRosas world building and character crossovers is epic! Nix and Ransom may be my favorite couple yet ❤️
This third book is a fast-paced continuation of the story line, action-packed with compelling characters. The plot is engaging and pulls the reader right in with detailed world building to make it feel like you are right there. The rebel king has an insane plan to raise the god of death, but he needs Phoenix’s blood to be able to carry out that plan. The brilliant combination of unexpected twists and turns that keep the story suspenseful will make sure that you enjoy every moment of this edge-if-the-seat amazing series. Grab your copy and hang on for the ride!
If it wasn't for work, I would have read the whole book in a day. The chemistry between Nix and Ransom is wonderful and to read how Ransom evolves from the second book was something that I was looking for. More characters were brought in this book from the universe, which I loved. I can't wait for the last book of the series to be released so that I can find out what happened.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
My goodness this book had me captured from the very beginning. So much action going on. GK has done it again. So happy Nix and Ransom have finally figured some stuff out. That cliffhanger though. It had me internally screaming since I was unable to do so out loud since I was on a plane. However, I did huff really loud and the guy next to me looked at me like I was crazy. So excited for the next book in this fantastic series.
Raising an evil god is never a good idea. But since it already happened, Phoenix, Ransom, and the rest of her crew must continue to try to overcome the raised god Thanatos and return the world to to normal. He is not making it easy, and it is possible that Phoenix and Ransom could lose their lives in the attempt to send Thanatos back where he came from.Fast paced action, great characters and plot make this a great read!
Yes, it took me a bit to get thru this book. Usually I read quickly if my interest is truly caught, but alas, as much as I enjoy GK books, as many authors do, they drag out the story which could’ve ended in 2 or 3 books to 4 or 5 with verbal diarrhea.
I enjoy the plot twists, the storylines - this book was predictable. The cliffhanger ending was surprising. However, the more I read this series the more I dislike Nix. She is by far one of the most disliked MC of all her books (IMO).
I am loving this series about Ransom and Nix! They meet Hunter and Sierra and I like that it pulls in the characters from Wolfish! They admit their feelings and Ransom becomes the hero again. He really comes a long way in the feelings department in this book and Nix finally admits what we all knew was going to happen!! Onto the final book! I can’t wait to see where this ends!
