A beautiful book. I fell in love with the palm tree Kai. She felt so lonely even though she felt happiness in her life, just being alive and having a beautiful scenery. So many friends came and went but finally a flock of birds came to stay on her island. She finally got to have some friends, she no longer had to feel lonely

Such a sweet story

Kai has the sweetest outlook on life, wanting friends but being happy with life. I think it’s such a good message for children to appreciate their lives for what they are.

Palm Trees!

This is a delightful story about a plan tree named, “Kai” that desires to have friends. In the story, Kai is all alone on a small island. Kai has nearly given up on gaining any friendships because no one visits her tiny island. One day Kai gets more friendships than he/she could ever hope for. This books explores, friendships, hope, and determination. A good book for little ones!

Life Is Truly Wonderful

Kai is all alone on a small island. A man and other animals come for a short time and then leave. Life is wonderful but Kai is lonely. Will she ever have someone who will stay on her island? Highly recommended for children of all ages.

What a heartwarming book!

I personally liked everything about this book. It is bright, colorful, and very well written. The illustrations are so beautiful too. My favorite part of the book is how this story perfectly portrays one valuable life lesson of people who come and go in someone’s life and how everyone feel after experiencing it, and others who will come and stay and thus make someone’s life more meaningful. This lesson should be taught to children at a young age in order to avoid depression or anxiety when they will get older. This is the type of books that I would read to my kids again and again. I highly recommend to check it out.Kudos to the author!
