Ordinarily, opening my front door to two super hot men would be the main event of my life. It's not. Nowhere near close.
The hunky Men in Black types are here only because a smaller ship hovered over my farm during a much larger alien abduction event. The flying saucer dropped their cargo and took off, then the men of my dreams showed up. Now, both say I'm their bondmate and want to keep me safe from the alien kidnappers. Men like them are absolutely my fantasy but I'm not sure how they can protect anyone at all when abductions are happening all over Earth.
I trust and adore them, but there are limits to what they can do, aren't there?
Mara has been a card-carrying member of several science fiction fan clubs for most of her life. From old school Star Trek and Twilight Zone to today's latest and greatest, Mara has been fascinated by the rest of the universe.
Having found success as a writer in another genre, Mara decided to tell the stories about the sexy space aliens living in her imagination. Come along with her for an escape into a universe with intelligent, strong, and always sexy men from other worlds.
I have mixed feelings about this because I wanted to like it more than I did. I was just left with too many unanswered questions. It had funny moments,
“Amber! Where the hell are you and your gun?” Hedging because I’m not leaving my home during an alien invasion, I fib, “Still at home. I’m out of ammo.”
But the guys were too alike. One had more muscles. And were they a couple? How were they a couple with no sex? But not everyone on their world is 3+ but some are? What is going on?
The editing started breaking down with about 30% left…
“She glares at us. “I’m not sure if I feel protected or prosecuted.”” Persecuted? What?
“I’ll live with you anywhere else in the universe with you, Amber,…” Twice with her.
“…and my dampers aren’t engaged enough from snorting.” To keep me from?
The differences among the numbered world was never really explained, either? Sixth worlds, second worlds…wth?
These guys have biological nanites which pretty much do everything for them, including much of their thinking. It’s a bit creepy because they go all fuzzy eyed when they’re internally communicating. And they can “dampen” their emotions.
I guess there are other stories in the same world that might explain the huge gaping holes of information I’ve been left with, but this is #1 and it should have done all the ‘splaining. How long were the guys on Earth? Why do they say Earther instead of Humans if they’ve been here so freaking long? How long do they live? Where are they going to end up living?
The book further breaks down at the end with people from prior books (again, this is #1 so wth?) taking center stage from the principals.
Other questions: did they ever get her precious laptop? Her phone? These had her family photos she was so desperate to have, what happened to it all? This is just one example of pages being spent on a single topic without any resolution.
Why did she need a medical download simply to hold hands in the infirmary? Couldn’t anyone have done that?
What happened to the kidnappers? Were they arrested? Why did our three have to stay on that moon before getting picked up? How does an escape pod have a fully functional food dispenser with choices for the heroes (different race) and tons of clothes? Was it an escape pod or a shuttle?
And how advanced are these guys if the bad guys can get the drop on them so fast they steal a ship? Even my Honda has a freaking key!
As for the actual romance, they are told by the nanites that they are all a match. Not sure how the nanites know when they don’t. Should their hearts beat faster or something? The sex is immediately restricted to no three way. That’s fine. It doesn’t have to be for everyone. But it was weird. Also weird - as mentioned before - was how close the heroes are without anything more. If they never found the heroine would they have continued on in a romantic / platonic manner?
The end was a brick wall. No epilogue. I assume since the heroes are now “warriors” they’ll be leaving to fight. But we aren’t told, and are given conflicting options.
I liked the guys even though they were wet blankets who were programmed more than free thinkers. She just fit into their undefined relationship and on they went. Nothing special. I tried to like the heroine after she gave up the aliens. But she turned into a different person. Also, if the planet were getting invaded would you really worry about showing up to work? I would be joining the looters. But she doesn’t even fill her tank, just takes the aliens on a tour!
It was great up to a point. Probably when she got abducted. Then it started falling apart and ended up being frustrating.

The good + Bain and Dihl's connection. I liked their banter, their trust and their friendship a lot. They clearly loved each other + Amber taking care of her alien friends instead of selling them out to the government
The neutral o I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. My review remains honest and unbiased o There were a lot of 'cameos' of characters from different series. I haven't read anything by this author before and failed to realize that. I probably missed a lot of the plot because of that
The bad - Many things happened because they 'had to', like leaving Earth or the men leaving Amber behind a few times. Nobody ever tried to do anything about this, everyone always just went right along with everything - Never, not once, have Bain and Dihl offered to run away with Amber and live their lives their own way. It was pretty clear Amber was not very content with the circumstances, but nobody tried to fix anything for her. It also suddenly wasn't an option anymore for them to live on the same planet as Amber's alien friends. She basically had nothing except her mates - - Everyone seemed to break the rules that Dihl broke with Amber all the time, but they still got reprimanded for that - Everytime something didn't go Amber's way, she made severe threats. She went as far as to say I hate you to both of her mates, and later threatened to have their bond severed when she didn't get what she wanted right then and there. These are signs of severe abusive and manipulative behavior and not cute at all
Amber was not a good person. She tried to be, and she was nice to those aliens, but the way she treated her mates was really awful and raised a lot of red flags. Yeah, her mates were clueless, but they tried their best for her. Unfortuantely, I wouldn't recommend this book and won't be continuing reading the next installments in the series.
Alien abduction is not exactly something to be happy about happening, but what if that puts you on the path of meeting the guys for you.
Amber tries to so the right thing and protect her new friends. It brings to "men in black" to her door step. The world as we know it shifts and turns. Earthlings are definitely not alone.
This was my first book by the author, so I was also new to the characters. (Some were introduced in a different series.)
I enjoyed the writing style. Being able to have conversations in your head along with the different types of aliens was interesting. At times I found myself mixing up Bain and Dhil and they traded off dialogue.
I am interested in reading more.

This is one of the best alien books I have read in a long time! Bain and Dihl are officially my two most favorite men in the galaxy! I could not get enough of them and their quirky relationship - and no that does not mean they are in a sexual relationship. These who are just a pair of BFF's that fall for the same girl, which really isn't all that surprising being their best friends.
The book is FULL to the brim with laughable sections but they two guys are also some serious romantics. I literally cried when Dihl said he wants a boy that looks just like Bain so he can shower him with the love that Bain should have had as a boy. Awh, I'm going to start blubbering again!!
Amber is a little bit of a tantrum thrower but honestly, I can't say I would have handled the news she got any better. **WARNING** She does whip out the "h" word (hate) when they get into a fight but after taking a moment to calm down, she reminds them that she still loves them. Phew, been married for over 20 years and I know I've been less graceful in my own fights so she gets mad kudos from me for being able to reign it all back in. The girl seriously had some of the toughest news given to her and all her decisions made for her without her input.
The ending is super cute and now I'm sorry I didn't read the first series before. You know there is a lot more there to be unpacked if the you had the history beforehand but the backstory isn't required to love the book. Mara did a great job world building this so it could be a stand-alone.
Totally a 5 out of 5, going to go back and read the past series and probably reread this one just to keep everything in order.
Full length alien romance with fantastic world building!
It was a full length novel with action, angst and sexy times. The world building is exceptional. I like the characters although near the end I mixed up the dialogue of the two main male characters. This book is a spin off of another series but you don't need to have read them to enjoy this book. There are many aspects of this book that are unique to the genre. There is mind speaking, many different kinds of aliens, their worlds and even very good examples of their languages. This is a MMF romance without any MM action or anal play. This might, or might not, appeal to some readers. I do not give five stars because of two reasons. I noticed one or two errors that should have been caught in editing and I couldn't quite believe the actions of the female main character in the beginning. **Spoiler** She helps aliens she can't communicate with in the middle of an alien invasion. Then when two "humans" show up and offer to help her and the alien's she is harboring and can even speak to them, she still decides to lie.
This book contained nearly 400 pages of drivel. The world building was sparce because the main characters failed to reach their homeland. So, the reader was told about how good the off world would be, while subjected to pandemonium on earth after several alien species ransacked earth. The side story of the female protecting three aliens was minimal. The story of the mates was misrepresented on the bookcover. As for the multiple mates, because of the trauma the female had been previously subjected to, each male had to await his turn before achieving the ultimate delight with the female. In sum, the book could have been written in far fewer pages and perhaps, in doing so, would have engaged this reader to a greater degree.
Bain and Dihl are aliens looking for other aliens abducting people from Earth. Amber is hiding these bad guys thinking they are being picked on by these two hunky alien hunters. They recognize her as their bond mate and need to convince her to give up the bad aliens and become their mate. The book is fast, fun, sizzling, steamy read with some action, drama, and more. Available to read on Kindle Unlimited, you can read the entire Intergalactic Warriors series for free.
I received an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest review.
I made it to page 22!!! Aliens drop out the sky like 9/11. It is on every channel but this lady is okay with them at her house??? She is feeding them and ready to hide them. Now the author writes like this is an inside joke that we are supposed to understand!!! We are supposed to know who these aliens are what they are joking about!!!
This is a very good, well developed, SciFi, Alien/Human, action, adventure romance. The characters are interesting, and well developed. Amber has lots of ‘problems’ in her life until invaders start taking large quantities of people off Earth and three aliens are dumped from a smaller ship with their sewage. Read and learn how she meets her alien mates.
Amber is an extremely sweet character who finds aliens in her premises and then let's them use her shower and gives them clothing. Then she meets two Gharans who both determine she is their third. There are bad Kostans who invade earth too and abduct thousands of humans.
This book starts off with the female lead - and the author does a fantastic job making her believable and relatable. Those 2 things are hard to find in alien romance!! I really liked Amber! And the men are fantastic and very $exy. I will definitely read more from this author!!
First, I love alien romances but this was so slow and a bit boring to be truthful. Spice was ok 1/5. Some of the dialogue was lame and cheesy. Likely will not continue with the next.
This book could have been just my thing. Aliens, wars, kidnapning, menage. But there were so much filling in this story. Filling without importance, drawn out situations. Its a shame, because without this. I could have loved it. Now, not so much.
Book was very slow and drawn out. I almost did not finish it. Plot was good, storyline and smexy times too. No cliffhanger but I am sure it will connect to the next in line with the whole storyline.
I love alien stories! You can blame Close Encounters of the Third Kind for that…lol. I love finding reading new-to-me authors’ stories and seeing how their worlds compare to other authors work. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more!! ❤️
I was left feeling like there should have been more to this story. One minute they were talking about raiding the Empress closet for a big dinner, then the two MMC are talking about having kids. Then the story just ends so you're left kind of hanging.
Some aspects I felt were too detailed (food, areas, surroundings etc), and others weren't detailed enough (other civilisations, clothing for Kot, Rrrip and Fizz - did they ever wear their own clothes again?)
Also a glossary of terms used would be beneficial as I felt several of our words could be used for one of theirs!
Amber is on Earth, aliens are attacking and kidnapping people when something is dropped onto her property. Then others come to her door with questions, later returning to kidnap her as well. She had been protecting Bain and Dihl but now they need to protect her. Loved the characters and the locales. The storyline has plenty of drama, steamy feelings, entertaining situations, a new planet and finding home. Lots of energy and a fast pace keep you tuned into the book until the end. Enjoyed it.

I tried extremely hard to like this book as I enjoyed the premise immensely. The main character, Amber experiences an Alien invasion on Earth and instead of panicking when she discovers three of them in her backyard, she realizes they are not the bad guys and need her help. Then two sexy men show up, the men-in-black type.
So far so good. I enjoyed the type of tech the alien men-in-black had and the relationship dynamic between the two male leads. This is a spin-off series from her other works and you can tell there's been a lot of world-building already.
But...
I just couldn't like the main character and didn't care for the way the two heroes seemed to instantly love her? It was a bit Mary-Sueish to me in fact. Don't get me wrong, I love insta-love romance, but I like to feel like the couple (throuple) makes sense. I didn't feel that here.
She did a lot of whining about wanting to stay on Earth, with angry, childish tantrums almost when things didn't go her way. To the point that she even told them she hated them right now and the guys bending over backwards to apologize. To me, that just felt like emotional blackmail. And in the end, things never really went her way but after her tantrum she'd be totally cool with that.
Some of the conversations were stilted or for me seemed to jump from one direction to another. I'd be thinking the lead was opposing something and suddenly she wasn't? I'd question myself if I just misinterpreted things. After the third or fourth time of that happening though, I have to conclude that me and this author's writing style do not work together.
I also I struggled with the fact that it felt extremely contrived at this point in the story that she couldn't stay on earth? Even if I felt like she had no reason at all to even WANT to stay.
For me, I doubt I'll pick up another book from this author. I really think my style and hers are a severe mismatch. That's why I still gave it three stars, it's entertaining enough, fun enough between the issues I struggled with, that I think other people will enjoy it far more than I did.

Aliens have invaded Earth and are abducting humans. Some aliens are already on Earth as guidance and protectors and two of them go to Amber’s farm to investigate an incident. Bain and Dihl discover that Amber is their bondmate and everything becomes more complicated from then on. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
This is a well written book with an exciting storyline that follows the lives of Bain, Dihl and Amber and their romance story. The characters are great and well described, this include the various alien species. There’s action, danger, romance, steamy scenes and much more. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next one.
Amber is at home when aliens arrive and abduct more than 800,000 humans. She thinks she’s safe in her house, little does she know things are about to get very interesting and weird. A spaceship ends up dumping something on the land next to her house, it’s turns out to be three aliens who immediately take cover in her home. When she goes in they are watching the news and looking terrified. Amber soon figures out they can understand her and she tells them she will keep them safe. When two agents arrive, Bain and Dihl, she hides her new friends in a secret room. They know they are there, partly due to Amber being a terrible liar and also because they can see their heat signatures. They tell Amber to bring them to their office where they will keep them safe and transport them to a colony planet. Amber doesn’t believe them, she visits their office the next day where she’s given some technology through an interesting method. She doesn’t believe them but on arrival home she’s able to communicate with her new friends. They decide to take the agents up on their offer, little does Amber realise that she is the agents mate and if they ever want to go home again they have to take Amber with them, or stay on earth without their technology. It’s going to take a lot of convincing on both their parts to make Amber realise exactly what she is to them and what’s at stake. They are going to enjoy it though, all of them.

This was an interesting Book 1 in The Intergalactic Warriors with a well- crafted world and unique characters. I enjoyed this story and the characters. I cannot wait for the next book

This book was enjoyable and set on earth, which was a change in pace from other alien romance. I loved the female main character's attitude and her ability to roll with the weird circumstances.

This is the first in the "Intergalactic Warriors" series and a first for me by this author. I liked this alien romance. It was very interesting and intriguing with a bit of Men in Black twist. The story is about Amber, Bain and Dihl. I liked the characters and how the story develops. It is a fun read with bit of suspense and intrigue.
When Aliens land on Ambers farm she is terrified, but wants to help them at the same time. She hides them in her basement when two agents come to investigate the landing. She tells them she hasn't seen any aliens. They know she is lying to them. They tell her to slip them to their place at night so no one will see them, and they will keep them safe and help them get back home. Even though the aliens want to do this, Amber doesn't trust them. Amber finally takes the Aliens to the agents and they send them to a safe colony. They know Amber is their fated mate and plan on keeping her safe too. When the two agents are sent to the colony to help the aliens that are there, they wonder what is going to happen to Amber. Will she be safe until they return? This is a great book. I highly recommend it. It is full of humor, drama, and hot steamy romance.
