When the hostile tension between the different immortals erupts, Lexi flees the Gloaming for the mortal realm. Once home, she’s certain she’ll never see Cole again. She’s proven wrong when tragedy strikes. Lexi is unable to turn Cole away... even if helping him puts her in danger.
Book 2: Shadows of Discovery
Lexi never expected Cole to return, but when she learns he must leave again, she agrees to go with him.
Back in the Gloaming, she discovers Cole will stop at nothing to become king despite opposition from the dark fae who don’t want him to rule.
Lexi’s fear for Cole’s safety is rivaled only by the consequences of her choices. If he makes it through the trials and takes control of the Gloaming, can their love survive her deadly secret?
Book 3: Shadows of Betrayal
As Cole plunges into war against the rebellion in the Gloaming, his enemies aren’t the only things to fear on the battlefield.
The Shadow Realms hold more monstrous secrets than Cole or Lexi ever knew, and some of them are about to break free. When allies become enemies and betrayals unfold, Lexi and Cole will learn who they can trust and who wants them dead.
And through it all a new threat will rise… from someone they trust.

RIVETING!!
I could not put these books down! I bought the first three books as a trio set and got so lost in the story only to find out I wasn’t done reading and there were two more books in this series! Needless to say I went and ordered them pronto!

Dark fae, lycans, vampires, witches, and dragons! This book series has it all! Completely gripped from page one, this series had me on the edge of my seat! A couple of twists I didn’t see coming and one I had a feeling about but definitely worth the read and highly recommended!

Humans, Vampires, Witches, Lycan and Fae fight to survive.
Cole is part Dark Fae and part Lycan. He fought alongside others in the war for the Lord, who rules the kingdoms with the help of the dragons and his spies. Before the war he had five brothers, now he only ha three and two of them are on the run.
Lexi lost her father in the war, she believes she is part human and part vampire. Helping others is in her nature and she needs Cole, something odd is happening to her and she doesn't know how to deal with it.
Can their love transcend what their are and make them stronger?
A must read for all lovers of the supernatural world.

A new player in town.
Brenda K. Davies has built a glorious world of the very worst villains, the very best heroes & a love that could upend it all. She's somehow woven all tropes for vampires, shifters, fae, dragons & just about every magical, mythical being you can think of. Instead of it being a muddled mess, which it could have been, it's a complex tapestry that becomes richer with every added element. It's like these books possess their own alchemy & I loved them. I know that there's at least another 3 books, I'm not expecting any dip in quality as Ms Davies is one of my favourite fantasy authors. I'm just off to acquire them!

I am loving this series so much. It’s action packed and I could not put the books down. Lexi and Cole are amazing. Just when you think you figure it out Orin makes you go hmmmmm. I cannot say enough great things about this story. I have not read anything similar and the world this author creates is just incredible

One of the best books I've ever read
Wow. Ms. Davies did an awesome job with this. I loved everything about it. I didn't want to put it down. I want to immediately read the next book and on without sleeping. I'm so invested in these characters and their world. There is so much dimension to everyone. Do yourself a favor and read this.

intriguing world
Enjoyed this dystopian fantasy world of vampires, witches, dragons, fae and pixies. Great world building and character development. The romance was epic with steamy love scenes. The only irritating thing was some I’d the dialogue was immature. It seemed like teenagers talking to each other when it should have been adults having a discussion.

Awesome!
I really enjoyed these 3 books! When doing my daily chores all I wanted to do was come back and read, that is until I got to the last chapter of the 3rd book and didn't want to finish until I could buy the next but I did it anyway. And I will bug my hubby when he gets home for the next 3😁

Fantastic start of the series
Fantastic first three books in this series.The characters are bought to life with carefully selected traits and the storylines are sometimes quite steamy. Obstacles, trials and enemies are abundant and the adventures are well detailed. Great reading for adults with an open mind.

Riveting Story
I love this adventure. It has fae, vampires, lycan, witches and more. Very well written, awesome world building, awesome characters and a riveting story that keeps you glued to the pages. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series.

I am a huge fan of Brenda K. Davies. Her books have great characters, steamy scenes and the word building is the best. I love the different world I get to go to, see where her thoughts lie. I can’t recommend this series enough!!

AMAZING series! If you love, twists and turns, the unexpected and suspense you'll LOVE this series! I swear my heart stopped beating and I stopped breathing a couple times.
