Rate this book
A lady billionaire on the run. A disgraced grumpy journalist.
They’ll find out the naked truth is hard to handle.

Billionaire Joy Maddux has everything a woman could want.
Job security.
Supportive family.
And situationships that don’t require much effort.

When an anti-woman podcaster targets Joy, it’s all shot to hell.
There’s only one place on earth where she’ll be safe.
A former nudist colony - also known as home.

Hotshot reporter Thorn Pryor stumbles onto the biggest story in the past 40 years.
It should land him a promotion.
Instead, it gets him fired.

Now, he makes headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Out of a job.
Down on his luck.
Drowning in debt.

The last thing he wants to do is run a failing newspaper on a quirky island.
That is until he meets his new neighbor.
And uncovers a one-in-a-billionaire chance at redemption.

One in a Billionaire is the hilarious first book in the Pleasure Point series.
The entire series is chock-full of salty language, snarky humor, and women over 35 having steamy times in the bedroom. If this were a movie, it would be rated “R” for really spicy and funny.

The Pleasure Point series books contain interconnected stories but can be read as standalones.

This hysterical new series from Dawn Dugle had me in stitches from first page to last. Taking place on a former nudist colony with... euphemistically... named streets and businesses, the setting was so vivid, it had me wanting to find my own private island in Florida. And Joy and Thorn! I loved both of these characters so much. Seeing them grow and come to love each other had me rooting for them all the way. If you love romcoms with amazing locations, hilarious characters, and more than a dash of spice, you will love the new Pleasure Point series.

Before reading One in a Billionaire, there are a few warnings...
1. Don't read while drinking hot liquids or anything that might burn your nostril hairs if you were to snort-laugh.
2. Maybe make a trip to the bathroom to empty out your bladder before reading. (That "meet messy" could cause you to pee your pants laughing.)
3. This is straight-up romantic comedy. No murders. No cliffhangers. Plenty of spicy times.

I really enjoyed writing this one and creating the island of Pleasure Point.
I hope you enjoy reading it.

xoxo,
Dawn

I needed this book. The laughter, the love story, the happy ending...all of it! This was such a fun read and a great introduction to the Pleasure Point series and its meddlesome, yet, loveable characters. I HIGHLY recommend this book and am looking forward to the rest of the series! P.S. This book is FUNNY!

This was such a fun read! If you want a fun- lighthearted read that will have you laughing out loud, this book is for you! I love that there is a little billionaire switch-up where the MMC is down on his luck, and the FMC is the billionaire.

They both find themselves hiding out in Pleasure Point, the quirkiest town you'll ever meet, full of store names full of innuendo, a former nude beach (maybe not so former), and so many characters you can't miss. But, of course, the characters are thrown together as part of a bigger plot, and miscommunications and misunderstandings are rampant.

It’s All About Trust

Joy and Thorn collide with a little help from a lot of meddlers. They both have major trust issues and have just suffered intensely bad times. The story follows their rocky road from attraction to HEA. The language is sometimes a bit childish given the age of the protagonists and the older generation. In the end, it’s a good story about love, trust, and doing the right things for others.

fast read

A very quick page turner but in a
I-already-know-where-this-is-headed type of way. Super cheesy but enjoyable. The banter, sarcasm, and innuendos are always welcomed and Ms Dugle does it very well. I can see how these books can be standalone’s but I enjoyed seeing previous characters and places mentioned from the other series.

My lady buttons thank you

It was so sweet and aggravating, and a little tense but the amount of work anyone goes through to show their love? You trust them. Follow along the hijinxes of an odd town full of meddling seniors who only want whats best for their babies on pleasure point. You won't be disappointed

laugh out loud!

This was a lovely, spicy tale with a HEA. Gentle.
Entertaining. Didn’t reach the inbuilt boredom threshold of having to read the end to see if the reading time was worth it, so that’s a +++ from me!

One in a Billionaire

This book was an absolutely spicy, romantic comedy! I was laughing while ready and couldn't read fast enough to find out what was going between all the characters. I think everyone needs comedy in their life along with lots of romance.

my first by Dawn and definitely not my last!

Funny and steamy, I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I was gifted this book in a book exchange and I’m glad I was!

A nice fun, light-hearted romp. Having been in my dark romance era for a while, this was a quick fun island read. Fun characters made it all the more enjoyable.

This was my first read of Dawn Dugle's and I have to say it was so fun!! Pleasure Point is my next vacation destination (I wish!) with it's quirky characters, mystery, and business and street names that would make my grandmother blush.
The story Joy, of a billionaire targeted by a no-good, woman-hating scum bag podcaster, runs home to Pleasure Point (a former nudist colony) to hide among her family and friends in hopes the scum bag will go away. And Thorn, a leading reporter gets hung out to dry on what should have been a huge story, who ends up at Pleasure Point after inheriting a failing newspaper business.
Hilarity, romance, and spice ensues. The residents of Pleasure Point aren't all innocent which adds some mystery to the story, but it's all fun and love. There's plenty of fun spicy scenes and banter which I love1

I strongly recommend you heed Dawn Dugle's warning. Do not drink while reading unless you want to be cleaning up spit-out and snot-out drink off yourself and your book because this book is hysterical!!
