Surge
Colette’s a sweet angel in need of saving, and like it or not, I have a hero complex. Marrying her seems like the right thing to do. Then my sometimes lover, Aidan, finds us together. The hurt in his eyes nearly guts me.

I am pretty sure I saw a Facebook ad for this book and instantly thought it was for me. I didn't know at the time that it was still on preorder, so I would check every couple of days, until it was finally live. It's go time! I will admit that I grumbled over the price for the length of the book. It didn't deter me from buying, but it did make me think twice.
I normally start a series from the beginning, but I told myself that if I liked this book, I'd go back and fill in from the beginning. That's more than likely not going to happen, as I didn't think this book was worth the time reading let alone the money. I am not disappointed, but I am also not a converted fan at this point.
Seriously, the blurb was better than the actual story. It actually wasn't a bad story, it just could have been better executed.
Here's a few things that irked me:
- I don't mind when an author has more than one MC series, and those brothers make an appearance or are mentioned. I absolutely detest when there are so many name drops, I can't keep them straight. In the beginning of the book, there's a few mentions of other clubs, but nothing that made me think it would be a huge problem. It wasn't a big fail, but there comes a point in time where 3 or 4 other clubs send members to assist, and then it's like you need a score card to keep track. It was irritating but only a minor issue. I have read worse examples of this.
-Insta-Love - I have no problem with the concept. This is a romance novel, and with the short length, it was almost to be expected. However, I have a huge problem when things just don't make sense.
Here's what I mean by that:
Surge is kind of seeing a man (Aidan) that he thinks the club won't approve of. Aidan's an artist and doesn't have the rough and tumble exterior that the brothers do. They haven't been together in a month because Aidan wants more than Surge can give him, but we only get snippets of the past.
A clubhouse party changes everything when when Surge meets Collette and realizes something fishy is going on. She's in trouble, and the only person who can save her is him. I can understand why Surge's actions are the way they are. He's in hero mode, and he knows that he has to protect Collette or die trying. However, there's still Aidan to think about. Surge doesn't think twice about throwing everyone together like a big melting pot. It just doesn't make sense when there's no prior connection to Collette, and then men haven't seen each other for a month.

The wait is over! Surge's story is finally here and it does not disappoint!! Surge, who's bisexual, could not see himself settling down with just a woman like his club brother and former lover, Slider. But he also couldn't see claiming just a man or both since that's never happened in his club. Everything changes when he's a party at the clubhouse and stumbles upon a couple in a compromising position. Meeting Colette causes a huge shift in Surge and his protective instincts take over when he realizes she's in trouble. Much like all the brothers in the club, Surge doesn't hesitate in making Colette his, but what happens when his on-again, off-again lover, Aidan walks in on them?
Surge has kept Aidan at a distance because he couldn't give Aidan everything that he wanted. Now with Colette in the picture Surge just might have everything and everyone he's ever wanted. But will the club accept their relationship like Devil's Fury accepted Dagger's?
This story was fast-paced with a few twists and turns but the building relationship between Surge, Colette and Aidan was amazing to watch grow. All three brought their own unique qualities to the relationship that created a perfect balance. As always, I absolutely loved this story from start to finish. Harley Wylde's MC world is one that I love to live in!!

I've been waiting for Surge's book since Slider's book!! That's a longtime in the MC world. We finally got Surger's story and it doesn't disappoint. Surge's story introduces his love interests---and eventually more---Colette and Aidan. What a fantastic love story! Yes, there's the usual plot in the storyline that Colette is in danger. She's innocent and needs a bad Alpha biker to help her. Lucky for her, Surge fits the bill.
If you're not into MMF stories, then this book isn't for you. I'm telling all potential readers so I don't read other people complaining about being "surprised" about the love story. Here's your warning. Colette is the perfect woman for both Aidan and Surge. Surge is rough to the outside world, but tender with her. Aidan is always thoughtful and respectful to her wants and needs. I'm so grateful that Harley Wylde wrote Surge's story and kept this character's preferences. Anyone that has read Surge in previous books already knows what he likes and doesn't. Thank you, Harley!

I have to say I am glad to see we have another Poly “couples.” Colette was part of a trafficking shipment. She was “saved” by another. Was given a chance for some shelter and food. Thank goodness for Surge. Yes we knew about him for a while. He was our hacker for the Hades Abyss but we knew also that he was bi. When he spots Colette and another, he is intrigued. When he realizes it’s a set up, he is PO’d. Things take a turn when he decides to help Collette. Then add Adian to the mix. He has been Surge aka Cameron’s on again off again lover for a while. Things get really heated when the chemistry with these three just clicks. Throw in people after Colette, a rat in the Hades Abyss camp, and trafficking of others and we have an explosive story. I love when we get the cross overs. SO worth it. There was one thing that was so sad on Colette’s behave, well actually two. I won’t say because it will give too much away. Colette is sweet and kind. Not a mean bone in her body. Surge is tough like all our MCs. And Adian is talented and loving. A perfect mix. We do need to make some changes to the compounds and toughen them up. I am looking forward to Thunder.

Surge's story was another foray into the darker underbelly of humanity. Colette was kidnapped from her home in France and taken to the US to be a toy, a plaything to a rich man. When she lands in the arms of Surge of Hades Abyss it is the best thing to ever happen to her. Surge takes her in and is determined to never let her go. When his on again, off again friend with benefits Aiden shows up, things get complicated. In such a stressful situation, things become clear. Surge needs them both, just like they need him. Determined to keep Colette safe, the three of them leave town. Forging a lasting and deep relationship amongst the three of them would be quite the undertaking. Its even more harrowing under such difficult circumstances. But their determination and care for one another make it work. A sweet and heartbreaking story, I fell in love with all three of them. To see them all work together to begin to build a strong marriage was beautiful. 5 stars for Aiden, Colette and Surge!

I was not sure what to expect with Surge’s story knowing it was MMF, but it turned out the be a well written dish of biker deliciousness! Surge accidentally walks into a situation he was not meant to see but ended up winning the woman (and man) of his dreams. Collette’s story is one of kidnapping and human trafficking and misery. Who she thought was a fellow slave trying to escape turned out the be one of her tormentors and was working with others to harm her. Surge sees a woman in need that he can’t seem to walk away from. He wants to claim her as his own, but he also wants Aiden as his own. Can he have them both and will the club accept them? Will they all become a family? Can they escape Collette’s tormentors? Surge and his club go all out to protect them and help them find their happily ever after! Plan to read this in one setting. Action from start to finish with all the stuff we love from Harley Wylde!

I was so happy and excited to finally read Surge's story and Harley Wylde did not disappoint.
We are given a beautiful and fulfilling love story the revolves around Surge, Collette and Aiden.
These three are so good together and their chemistry is off the charts!
The way they complement each other and become the family that Collette needs is stunning!

The twist and turns in Surge keep you engrossed in the story till the end. Surge isn’t ashamed of his bisexuality but that doesn’t mean he flaunts it in his brothers faces either. When he stumbles upon Colette and Jacques’ he knows something is amiss. When he takes Colette home his lover Aidan shows up and thing really heat up. She's on the run for her life not knowing if she'll survive, meeting Surge at the same time is a shock but also intriguing to her. Their attraction to each other is fast, adding Adrian into the mix is well let's just say things are about to pop off. Surge made the choice to keep Adrian away from the club thinking it's for the best but now with Colette, he sees he can have it all, go to war to keep her and Adrian safe from harm. Surge is the emotional MMF story of Surge, Aiden and Colette. Colette is running from danger and is pointed toward Hades Abyss to find protection. Little does she know that she's going to find exactly what she's always wanted. The chemistry between these three is off the charts HOT and their story is so beautifully told. It's definitely a page turner and one that'll keep your attention from beginning to end. Harley Wylde knocks it out of the park again with Surge!

I loved this hot and steamy MC romance which involves a woman on the run from traffickers, Artist with a heart of gold, and a computer hacker that we’ve all come to love. The characters are well developed and likable and the storyline is very well written. There is action, drama, suspense, and steamy romance in this page-turner. This is a great steamy summer afternoon read. I can’t wait for the next one!

I really enjoyed Collettes, Surge and Aidan’s book. The three lives and love linked together in a sweet but steamy way. Surges compassion, protectiveness and love comes out and Aidans sweet caring natures comes out for them both which draws out Collettes strength and shows her what love is supposed to and can be.
Theirs action and drama in this one and if your not into MMF this may not be for you but in my opinion your missing out on another awesome read from Harley Wylde.

This is a MFM story but a really good one. I love this type of story, but it's done in a way that someone that never tried it can dip a toe in and see if they like it. Colette is a sweet girl that ends up her in America and trying to just survive Surge finds her and fall like a tree. Surge is involved with Aidan a non-biker and the three of them form a group. It's a great story and you will enjoy it if you give it a chance.

Finally, Surge's book is here and oh what a book it is!! I loved the chemistry between Surge, Colette, and Aidan!! This book is everything I hoped Surge's book would be and more!! This book has twists and turns that you don't see coming. I don't know how Harley Wylde keeps improving her books, but she does! I can't wait for the next book in the series.

MMF, hot bikers, damsel in distress and surprises you don't see coming. I loved the characters and the story line is fluid and makes sense. Kept me interested from the beginning to the very end. This can be read as a stand alone, but it's better to read the series as there are some members from other MC's showing up and kicking bu!!. It's a10/10 for me.

Surge is so much more than I expected him to be. Colette and Aidan are Surge’s perfect match, and he does everything in his power to protect the family he created. I can’t even put into words how much I love this story. This is an adrenaline fueled, suspenseful, intense but super sweet, romantic and highly addictive story that I didn’t want to end.

Absolutely loved it!!! Surge meets Colette and figures out she needs saving. Slight problem, his off and on again guy, Aidan. But don't worry all 3 have a happily ever after... Well after lots of danger and drama.

It first starts out with Collette on the run and then she meets Surge and he is such a protector. I loved Collette, she was so sweet and then add Aiden and the book is amazing. It’s full of twists and turns. The love story is so good. Highly recommend it

Loved this one - things moved along at warp speed, but the characters were great and the story had lots of twists. I really enjoy this author's writing, and she manages to snag your interest pretty quickly and keep you wondering what will happen next. Good read!

Sweet baby, this book had me hooked. I shouldn’t have started reading before bed lol. I loved these three journeys. Aiden, Colette and surge all had stuff going on , but their love and faith got them through an made them stronger. Definitely a roller coaster of emotions, on the best way.

I loved Surge His Protection` over the ones he loved was great. Colette has not had it easy and knowing who to trust to save her is hard. Throw Aidan into the mix and you have one hot love story!
