Ultimately I enjoyed this one though I do think it started slowly. My main criticism, and this covers the whole series, is that the main characters are way too dense. They seem incapable of putting two and two together and when they do they come up with the wrong answer. It's been a fun series so far so I'll keep going however.
Loved this volume because I like Karla and there is a huge twist at the end that changes how you understand the whole book and sets up what to expect going forward. We get introduced to several more characters and their homelands (Prohellya of the Haku Goku Commonwealth and Leonna of Lapelico).
