I Don't Pluck With You

Rate this book
I was walking on cloud nine. Things in my life had finally taken a turn for the better. I had a great new job in a new city and a group of new friends that loved me. Starting over was never easy, but this time I was optimistic.

They say stay golden and good things will come your way. So when I asked the universe for a house of my own, I was thrilled to hear I had been approved.

They also say be careful what you wish for. I got the house, but along with it came the nosey neighbor from down under.
Laced with an Australian accent and a pair of bright red binoculars, Ken Holland is making my dream of home ownership turn into a nightmare.

She plucked with that man from down under!!!
This was such a cute story to begin this series. They say people come into your life for a reason or a season. Well idk what that POS Chicago was. But I was glad he got what he deserved after the shenanigans he put poor Pansy through. But that was just what she needed to make a fresh start. But wait. That Aussie named Ken? Woooweee his beginning story was something straight out of a soap opera. And fate took over and put these two people right next door to each other.
Now I had to laugh at the shenanigans Ken went through to get Pansy's attention. ESPECIALLY the early morning debacle. I knew what was coming but I gave him an A for effort. I loved reading how these two finally came together and seeing how Pansy transformed her house and started her business. Overall in loved this first book. It was cute and sassy with a wonderful ending.
Oh! And I LOVED seeing Raven and Aries!! I can't wait to read their story in the Sin City MC series.
I totally recommend this absolutely cute and sassy story. I can't wait for the next book. 😊💕💕

I just finished reading L.Loren's I Don't Pluck with you and I wasn't disappointed at all. Pansy and Ken was made for each other. I felt bad for Pansy when she thought she found Mr. Right. The sexy times were off the chain and very steamy. I love the authors writing style and how she introduces other characters that's coming in other series. . I couldn't put this book down until it was done. I am looking forward to L.Loren's next release.

Plucking the neighbor☺️😘🥰

Ken and Pansy moved to start a new chapter in their life never expecting to fall in love because that was not in the plan😉.

I liked how strong, feisty and self assured Pansy is with herself. The way her interactions were with Ken was pretty hilarious because she meant for it to dissuade him but it had the opposite effect😛. Ken became nosey trying to get her attention the moment he saw her from across the street😍. Pansy not giving him the time of day turned into a challenge for Ken and he aimed to win. Once Ken’s foot was in the door their relationship heated up🔥🥵🔥. It was nice to see 2 other character from another series to see that they are doing well together❤️.

This was a good read but wasn’t my fave of Ms. Lorens book as it felt rushed as it is a short story so I understand.

really liked it

If you have read any Jamie Knight novels or novellas, you know that she mixes sex and romance sometimes with everyday issues. The issues that were discussed in this book were ADHD and abusive parents. We have this young woman who left her hometown, Castle Falls and went to college but she could not focus when she got to school and because she was flunking three of her classes, she came home. She had an abusive mother who berated her and even her brother Alan. We find that Zoe's mother sends her to pick up her brother because she felt like Zoe was stupid and lazy and sent her to pick up her brother, where she meets Dean Anderson, her brother Alan's teacher. When they meet there is an attraction between them and then the rest of the story.

Mmmm!

I really enjoy L.Loren stories it’s the endings that are getting to me. I enjoyed Pansy and Ken would have like a bit more meat to the relationship (but it is a short story) it’s the non endings that I dislike, it’s like the book is not finished. I had to read this one to find out Aries and Raven got together and they are from whole different series. Let’s just say I look for HEA’s and that is what I expect, please don’t make it out to be a HEA if that is not what it is. I am going to say if you are okay with drawing your own conclusions at the ending than this is a wonderful short story. If you are like me and want a definite HEA this is not that.

I dont Pluck with you was recommonded by GIRL TRUSS ME , and L. Loren gives us a story with Ken and Pansy who are both starting a fresh chapter in their lives in the same town and living right next to each other. When Pansy first moved in she saw he was going to be trouble peeping at her through his read binoculars, but Ken went from giving stalker vibes by peeping at her some and then popping up at her door daily until both of them learned to play nice all throughout the garden. Per Joy, she never stood a chance with either of them.

Great read - Pansy and Ken, sans Chicago

Wow, at the beginning I was actually wondering why the relationship with Chicago and Pansy seemed so weird. He was just using her and had a side chick. Pansy was wise not to do anymore work for Chicago because she would have been in prison with his last stunt. He and his side chick got some real and serious time.
Pansy meets Ken. He’s her new neighbor in Santa Barbara, CA. That’s all I’m going to say about that cause you need to read it for yourself. It’s amazing!

Ken and Pansy are two people starting their lives over in a different place. Things started off rocky but then a friendship developed into a sexual thing as neighbors. The book felt rushed and incomplete. We read the backstory of these two but nothing about Ken's new future in the States nor how Pansy's business turned out.

I like the series

I like the Plucking Series. I didn’t feel the connection as much with these two. Possibly because of his history, but even when they were together I didn’t get it. I still look forward to the next in the series

Vague & Unfinished & Meh

I don’t know what it is with this authors book and why they all read as vague, not descriptive enough, and unfinished. This book was boring also. I will probably never read another book from this author because it’s a waste of time

Plucking Pansy

Okay, I am enjoying these short, sweet swoon worthy series … YUMMY 😋
Pansy and Ken both moved away to get a new start and in the process became neighbors and find each other. And A to Ken for persistence!!
They are 🔥

Short and Sassy!

Two flawed people finding happiness and peace while healing. Change is not always a bad thing. Sometimes it is absolutely necessary. I loved this story and L. Loren did an awesome job!

Nice Quick Read…

Well done. I have been enjoying this author’s works for some time now and am never disappointed with her characterizations of strong intelligent women with sass.
