Absolutely loved Luna and Finn's story. You know you're going to have an action-packed rollercoaster ride when the two main characters are hitmen, lol. I liked Luna's character a lot. She's a hard girl made harder by her life experiences, but she will do anything for her family. Her and Finn have crazy chemistry and they both believe they can't love and can't be loved, but they're wonderful together. Finn is super j/p, but kind of a mush ball when it comes to Luna and I love it. Tons of secrets sowing fields of mistrust leave you on the edge of your seat knowing the axe will fall. My only gripe in the story is that I feel like there wasn't enough time in the book to let Finn properly grovel for his mess up. Too big, too close to the end to provide true closure for me 🥲. Still loved the book and definitely can't wait for the final chapter with Sinful Queen!

I am obsessed with this series. I have been waiting for Luna’s book since she was first introduced in the previous books. Fin and Luna have been best friends for years, but after tragedy strikes, Fin cut off all connections with her. Years later, Fin’s uncle wants him to get close to Luna and even marry her if he has to. So, Fin reaches out to Luna’s family and tells them he want to marry Luna.
Luna is against marriage, so he asks her family to not tell her about their arranged deal. Instead, he poses as her bodyguard so he can be close to her. Luna is not your typical mafia princess. She’s strong, independent and does not take shit from nobody. If Fin thinks she’ll easily obey him, he’s in for a surprise. She is constantly testing his patience.
The tension around these two is fire 🔥 and their chemistry off the charts. Both of them think they’re not capable of love, but they could not be more wrong.
“ I’d rather be your villain than for you to find a prince” Ahh my heart.
The only thing I didn’t like was that stunt Fin pulled towards the end of the book. Still mad 😡 but overall the book is great and I can’t wait for Katrina’s story.

Luna is strong, independent and protective when it comes to those she cares about. She and Fin were best friends until tragedy strikes and it will be years before he comes back into her life. Even though she isn’t looking for love or a relationship when he is hired as her bodyguard, she is conflicted not only for her feelings for him but the secrets of the past as well.
Protecting Luna isn’t the only reason that Fin has come back into Luna’s life. There is no denying the feelings they have for each other, but will they have to choose between love and loyalty?
Luna and Fin definitely have some challenges to overcome both from the past and the present but I enjoyed seeing their relationship unfold as they try to find their way back to each other.

This was an intense read! It had me on the edge of my seat and mesmerized the entire time reading it. I loved it, the storyline was written so well and it had you yearning and devouring it for more with each page read. Fin and Luna....my God...what can I say except I loved them. They were both strong and dutiful but trust was one thing they never gave up easily. The emotions you feel while reading are beautiful and heartbreaking yet it's 100% worth the rollercoaster for this story. And, the romance we get is hot which totally puts this story into a delishishly sinful delight to read so go grab it now!

Emily Bowie is a new to me author and I am definitely going to be reading more of her work. This book was fantastic. It had all the feels. One minute she had you loving the characters then the next you were wanting to yell at them and shake some sense into them. Really kept me entertained and on the edge of my seat!!

Fin & Luna were best friends growing up, and honestly, she harbored secret feelings for him in their teenage years. Something tragic happens which tears them apart (he made the decision of course), so they didn't talk for a cool minute. Fast forward to the present, Fin AND Luna are both fierce assassins, and BOTH are loners at this point in life. Fin is tasked with getting close to Luna, but it's easier said than done as Luna is a bada** who isn't going to fall for his nonsense after destroying their friendship. He decides he's going to marry her, but no one tells her that right away, instead, he becomes her bodyguard. He drove me nuts to be honest as Luna was the best & deserved so much more than what he was putting out, but let me tell you, their chemistry was intense & didn't take long to ignite into serious heat. Of course the twists are coming in hot with a kicker of action sprinkled in so I was on the edge of my seat cover to cover. I don't want to say anymore because it's so much better to go in blind so seriously, buckle up & hit those one click buttons as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This book was amazing, it was full of every emotion you could imagine. From the very beginning you will root for Fin and Luna. They started out as friends and then tragedy strikes, and they end up not seeing each other for six years. When they are back in each other's orbit things explode and we are taken on an adventure with them. I really loved this one and I cannot wait to read the next one.

Sinful Bodyguard by Emily Bowie is book three in the Dark Mafia Sins. This is the story of Fin and Luna. Fin and Luna where very good friends but something happened that had Fin up and leaving. They hadn't talked for six years but now Fin appears back into her life. Fin is presenting himself as a bodyguard to her so that he can be close to her again. Luna knows something is up but she also has her secrets. This was a really good read.

Reminds me of Mr & Mrs Smith - the attraction between these two and the kick a** skills they have is thrilling.
Luna & Fin are best friends but one tragic moment in their life changes their future drastically and they become enemies. Secrets should never be kept amongst one another they only bring tragedy when they’re unveiled and that’s exactly what happens in Luna’s case.
This was a great fast paced enemies to lovers!

Full disclosure I have not read the previous books in the series however I did not have a heard time following the story and I will be reading them soon.
I love Fin and Luna. Separately they are great but together they are amazing. They have a long dark history together. I enjoyed watching Luna fight her attraction to Fin and fail. These two are firecrackers together.

Wow. I think that pretty much sums up this story. It was epic. Luna and Fin we're absolutely captivating and so addictive to read about. I was constant needing more from them. I was desperate to read more about them. The story was incredible. I absolutely loved it.

However, when Fin is around her she can’t stop how he effects her and how much she craves him! Their passion is off the charts hot and their love for each other even though unconventional at times is one that shines through all the darkness they have to endure. Fin is handsome and strong willed but his love and devotion for Luna is breathtaking. Their love and commitment to each other jumps off the page. They are an adorable couple even though they are both in the business of killing! As always this book did not disappoint and is a great addition to this amazing series by Emily Bowie. A tragedy occurs in Fin’s family that leads him to cut all ties with Luna without explanation. Years later, Fin is back in Luna’s life, and has an arranged marriage agreement with her family, but pretends to be Luna’s bodyguard to get close to her again. Luna has secrets of her own and hates Fin. But their chemistry, attraction and love push through every barrier that Fin and Luna have created. Can they trust each other with their truths or are the secrets meant to protect themselves going to tear them apart? This story has a great plot, full of betrayal, secrets, lies, mistrust, lust and love. And a fulfilling HEA at the end of it all!

This is the prequel to the Dark Mafia Sins series. It is about the parents get together. Viola is to be engaged to Nicoli’s brothers. But then she meets Nicoli. Trapped together because of an earthquake they can’t resist the attraction to each other. But what will they tell the families? Will Nicoli really follow through with what he said or will he pretend nothing happened between them? Viola is no longer pure and then she learns that they have made a child together. She is still set to marry Nicoli’s brother. What will happen now. How can she let Nicoli know? Will he care? This book was a great short read about the parents of the characters in the series. I love this series. I highly recommend this series. I think the books should be read in order but they can be read as standalone books. Great job Emily.

Luna is not a delicate Mafia Princess, she loves guns and does not take any prisoners. A devastating blow happens to Fin that has him cutting communication with Luna. Fin returns after a long absence and becomes Luna's bodyguard.
Luna harbors a secret she feels will destroy anything she has with him, having her worried what he will do if he finds out. When the truth is revealed, they both have to make choices. Hopefully they will be able to save what they have together or risk losing everything.

This is the fourth book in this incredible series and is Fin and Luna’s journey. These two were best friends for years until tragedy strikes and Fin’s family are killed, which has him cutting all ties to Luna. Now 6-years later Fin is back with his own agenda and ends up as Luna’s bodyguard. These two may be opposites but they complement each other perfectly. This is a well written action-packed storyline, with an arranged marriage, undeniable chemistry, and tension, betrayal, lies, secrets, family, truths, twists, emotions, redemption, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner which had me on tenterhooks throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This one conflicted me on how to rate, as like the other books it had some really really good moments, but others frustrated me, or left me wanting a bit more detail/a few things towards the end were left unanswered, so I based my rating on that as well as how I felt with the other books.
In saying all of that this was a good second (or is it third?) chance novel, with more twists you won't see coming.
Will this couple get a happily ever after or will they carry out their separate plans?
Definitely worth the read to find out.

Such a good series. I've read all 4 books back to back this past week and have loved them all. I can't wait to read the 5th book

So Luna and Finn are childhood friends. There were from rival families but both sides accepted this friendship. One day it all goes wrong but we don't find out what happened till later just that Finns dad killed Finns sister (his daughter).
Cut to years later and Finn works alone. He kills people for his uncle but doesn't work with him. His Uncle tells him he has to get close to Luna which Finn refuses flat out. Says no never gonna happen and leaves. Next chapter his has called Luca to a meeting to arrange a marriage for him and Luna. Just changed his mind just like that! Telling us he always loved her and is never getting her go. Came out of nowhere and was weird.
He does some things and gets Luca to agree but he doesn't want to tell Luna straight away cos she wont agree to it so he pretends hes her bodyguard.
Luna hates Finn for leaving all those years ago. He killed his dad for what he did then vanished. She doesn't want him around and is angry at him. But she agrees to the marriage this very quickly once they finally tell her about it. She knows he is up to something as well as she has seen him whispering with his uncle.
There is no communication in this book at all. On their wedding day his uncle tells him something and he just believes him. Honestly i think what he did at the wedding was unforgivable. Afterwards when she wont see him he says he should have just gone and talked to her which yep i agree!!
They got back together very fast and the whole secret brother thing was stupid.
Luna was supposed to be this strong independent woman but was just annoying.
There's a pretty heavy subject in this book that i feel they just glossed over. His dad something really vile to Luna and they never discuss it. I also don't understand her reasoning to not tell anyone. Her dad is a mafia don, why did she not go to him? She tried to sort it herself and ended up losing her best friend. It should have been addressed better.
This wasn't as good as the others. It felt really disjointed and some conversations made no sense. One sentence there talking about leaving a party and the next they have already left, it was odd

They were best friends before they were enemies, now Fin is forced to get close to her again after 6 years. After the night he almost killed her, & his dad did kill his sister, Fin forced himself to hate her. He broke her heart at prom & didn’t speak to her for 6 years. I can't stop chuckling at the ridiculousness that was Luna and her visits to her therapist. Ha! Totally hilarious.
Otherwise, you can expect a twisted tale of love, betrayal, and revenge, with a few surprises thrown in—just to keep you on your toes.
While I didn't enjoy this book as much as the others in the series, it's still a fabulous read.

I have read all the books in the Dark Mafia Sins series, and have really enjoyed them. So going in to Fin and Luna's story, I had high expectations.
Luna is a strong, independent woman who can handle pretty much anything that is thrown at her. With the exception of Fin. The history between the two is less than ideal, and there is still a lot of feelings pent up regarding what happened in the past. Luna is also a protector. She will do what needs to be done to take care of her family.
Fin is amazing at what he does, and he has earned quite the reputation because of it. Taking over the family business isn't exactly high on his priority list, but it is what he is destined for. First though he needs to fix things with Luna. Not only that, but he's going to convince her family that an arranged marriage between the two is the perfect plan.
I really enjoyed the characters. Separately they are fantastic. Together, I'm just not feeling it. Never once while reading did I see these two being anything other than enemies. Maybe one day I could see a truce being called, but that's about it. So to see the relationship building, and Luna being so resistant toward it, I struggled. Did this Rossi sister deserve her own story? Absolutely. But this enemies to lovers romance was just missing something for me. Honestly it kind of felt like a filler story to get to Katrina's story. And believe me I think Katrina's story is going to be INTENSE! Especially with the build up.
All in all the story was decent. It was just not what I was expecting, or what I was used to based on the others in the series. But these are just my feelings, and we all process books in different ways.

This is the fourth book in the series. They are better read in order but can be read as standalone books. This book focuses on Luna and Fin. Luna and Fin knew each other growing up. They were an unlikely friendship since they are from different mafia families. Things get complicated because of something that happened to Luna. They lose touch for a few years. Now Fin is back and he wants Luna. The fact that his uncle told him to get close to her is just an excuse. Things don’t go easily though. Fin was trying to save Luna from danger and instead she has found herself right in the center of it. Fin is pretending to be her bodyguard to get her used to being around him again. But he plans on being a lot more than her bodyguard. There is more going on then either of them knows as well. Will Fin be able to show Luna how he really feels and keep her safe? Or will they all be betrayed? This is a fantastic book. I love Luna and Fin. They both feel so responsible for those around them. They have secrets and are more connected than they realize. I feel for Fin he only wanted to protect Luna. Luna is different from her sisters. She is more like one of the guys. I am loving this series more with each book. I am also finding that the timelines for the books overlap with the previous one/s. Fantastic job Emily.

I received an ARC of this book and was super excited to start it. There was nothing necessarily wrong with this book, I just struggled to get into it. The MC Luna was more of a pick me girl who specifically says that she isn't like other girls. The LI reiterates this later as well. I had a really hard time connecting with Luna and caring what happened to her.
Now for the LI. He was so soft. Too soft for my taste. Fin was constantly trying to portray being hard and a BA, but I never believed. Yes he is a made man, but the whole time reading this book I felt like there was no way he would survive in a mafia world. He was a cinnamon roll through and through trying to be something he wasn't. This is all a preference thing for me. I like my made men to be hard and cold and distant with a soft spot for the MC.
The story was good and the writing was good for me. It was an easy to follow plot, and I was able to finish the book in only a couple hours. It was fine for me, my only real issue is that I didn't like either the MC or the LI.

While there wasn’t necessarily anything wrong with this book, I really struggled to get into the story. Mafia books aren’t really my favorite however, the angst intrigues me, but this one missed the mark.
The MC, Luna, bothered me. The number of times she insinuates she is ‘not like other girls’ is really annoying. I felt like she was fake.
As for Finn, I couldn’t see him being in the mafia. I didn’t believe that he could kill people. That is nothing against the author’s writing, I thought her writing was fantastic. I just see Mafia men being cold and only having a soft spot for their love interest. Finn seemed to have a soft spot for everyone.
