This was better than I expected, given the title. There's an actual story with a fair amount of development. The guys are easy to distinguish from each other, given Connor's accent and different choices of words due to his Irish background, and Elliot's more reserved manner, compared to Aiden's friendliness. The relationship progresses quite naturally, they don't jump into the sex immediately, the sex doesn't feel gratuitous and doesn't take the spotlight. Like, sometimes in books like this, you get the feeling the author wrote the story around the sex and that the book was just an excuse to have a gang bang, but this doesn't give me that vibe.
Jordyn is quite a sensible woman, not flighty or immature and not TSTL (too stupid to live). I like that the author gave her a backstory to explain why she's willing to be a surrogate. I wished we could have had Elliot's backstory too, because there must be a reason why control is so important to him. Also, since control is his thing, I wish he could have been a bit more dominating in the bedroom, extending his need for control to that arena as well, but sadly he was not. Would have been hot if he wanted to restrain Jordyn. I liked that the guys refused to keep secrets from each other, and Jordyn was also straightforward with them, no manipulation, no passive-aggressiveness, no playing games.
I would read more from Krista Wolf. It's a shorter, lighter story than some of the other RH I've read, but this is good cos sometimes I don't want to get engrossed and sucked into a black hole, I just want to read something easy and entertaining for two hours.
